I saw Dr. Ricci for the first time last week. He presented me with a great deal of useful information. Impactful. Rather than tell me what I wanted to hear he told me what I needed to know. I’m grateful that he took the time to be so thorough.

I saw Dr Ricci on 1/30/20. He burst into the room and immediately began explaining their billing policy which carried on for 15 mins. He then briefly looked over my paperwork and started talking about my BMI. I'm an athlete, so BMI isn't a great indication of my overall fitness. He then looked me up and down and said, 'yeah, you look like you have some muscle under there,' but then proceeded to give me a 15 min lecture on switching to a low glycemic diet. Ok. I was there to get my annual physical and talk to him about migraines. After another 10 mins or so of lectures on vitamin D and calcium, we moved on to the actual exam. That was fine although he never asked, only told me what he was going to do, including checking my prostate. He then told me that he was going to be a doctor for a minute and told me I had too much belly fat. Needless to say I forgot to ask about the reason for the visit. If you want a caffeinated Chad to be your doctor, he's your guy.

He is without a doubt the most through and caring Doctor I have ever used. I often tell people that he must lay awake at night worrying about my health. He is my wife's doctor also.

Dr. Ricci is one of the most thorough doctors I’ve ever seen. He is a great listener, never makes me feel rushed and with his guidance he has brought me back to feeling great! When I decided to change physicians a few years ago, I specifically looked for a DO, as they take a more holistic and health-oriented (as opposed to disease-oriented) approach than many MDs. I found Dr. Ricci and am very thankful that I did. He's knowledgeable, thoughtful, and observant and pays attention to details, all of which make him a superb diagnostician. It's also clear that he cares deeply about his patients' welfare. He explains test results and recommendations clearly and makes it possible for patients to be active, informed participants in their own care.

Scheduled an appointment back on May 9th for July 1st appointment. Have 9 minute call to them on that day put it in my calender and texted my wife the date of my appointment which she confirmed. I showed up for my apppointment and they had no appointment at any time scheduled. The person at the front desk was rude and even though nobody was in the waiting room they could only schedule for nearly two months out. Never going back. My wife likes the doctor but they really need someone at the front desk that has some knowledge of how to deal with clients.

I also love that he does not sugar coat anything, being honest with what you need for your health and well being.

Dr.Ricci was excellent. He is very thorough. He is knowledgeable about health prevention. Thankfully, I don't have a lot of health problems--and I would like to keep it that way. He was very proactive in suggesting ways to achieve my goals. He suggested that I do a CAT scan of my heart to see if I am at risk for any heart disease. No other doctor has ever suggested this. His staff is very friendly as well, easy to get an appointment. Impressed with him and the staff's professionalism as a whole.

We dumped this doctor after 18 months of service because of the persistent billing incompetence of his staff. The billing incompetence cost us over 9 hours wasted on the phone mostly with BCBS and the solutions/resolution always led back to Ricci's staff.We have zero billing problems with over a dozen other MD's visited. Steer clear of this office like the Plague folks.

I have been seeing Dr. Ricci for a couple of years. He has restored my confidence in the medical profession. I like to be pro-active, and he is genuinely interested in keeping me in the best of health. Would highly recommend.

I've been a patient of Dr. Ricci for about a year now. His specialization is in men's health but as a female patient I feel at ease. I even followed him when he went to another practice because I was that comfortable and pleased with him. He remembered me when I came to his new practice after almost a year. He is a DO, so he is more concerned about treating the cause rather than symptoms. You can tell he's in excellent health himself and he will stress healthy diet and exercise rather than just prescribing you a bunch of medicines to just essentially put a bandaid on the problem. Some doctors are too eager to whip out the prescription pad, but he knows how to connect the dots and will say, 'I cannot prescribe this medicine to you in good conscience because you have this condition', for example. I'm in nursing school myself so I can be kind of a pain to doctors because I 'know too much', but with him it is not a problem and there is mutual patient-practitioner respect. His bedside manner is unparalleled. He has emotional intelligence as well as the brain of a doctor- he really knows his patho and does a thorough health history to really get an accurate clinical picture and to provide holistic care. He wanted to know the names of every doctor of mine and what to ask them about this or that issue. Also, he is compassionate and seems to genuinely care about your health! Last year when I saw him I had lost 16 lbs. since my visit with him 3 months prior to that, and he noticed that from my chart and congratulated me and told me to keep up the great work. Doctors are sometimes too busy to really notice those kinds of nuances but he does. And after a scare when I had a swollen lymph node in my neck he assured me that he didn't think it was cancer and that it was probably a reaction from an infection and he was right- after a course of antibiotics it went away. I love this doctor and would recommend him to anyone; while I do believe every patient should advocate for himself/herself, he really makes you feel like he is working for you and with you. There's none of that self-righteous doctor 'God complex' here. Also his staff is very friendly and welcoming. Dr. Ricci is a blessing to the field!

Best doctor I have ever had. Very thorough with lots of questions to get at the correct problem. listens intently. I am following him to his new practice even though it is farther from me. Nurses well informed and polite.

We started going to Dr Ricci about a year ago. We were very happy with the care we received and even told some of our friends how much we liked him. About four months ago, he told me he was leaving Piedmont around mid Dec. 2015. He asked me not to say anything to the staff so I didn't. We were waiting for a letter telling us were his new office would be. He had told me it would be somewhere in the area but didn't say where. Now he is gone from Woodstock, don't know where. Not very considerate!
