Went to get a Covid test, and it's 8 days later, and I still don't have results yet. They stated my test was not begun until 1/11, which was 6 days after my specimen was collected. This is unacceptable, and I've asked for a manager to contact me with no call back yet.

I went to get a Covid test on 1/5, and it's 1/13 now with no results still. Although I asked the office manager to call me, the office staff has responded with what appears to be no urgency at all. They stated it will be 4 days from 1/11 before I will get my results. The test was not begun by the lab until 1/11, which is 6 days after my specimen was collected. No explanation from the staff as to why my test was not started until 6 days after the specimen was collected. It's unacceptable especially when it's Covid that I need answers about.

She is best doctor. she is always care about her patient and understand their real issues.

She is the best doctor ever. Dr. Shama makes you feel comfortable and she is acting like a friend. She really listens to me and takes cares of me as if l am her relative. Also staff are so nice and l don’t wait for long time. They are fast and quick. It is the first time l don’t hesitate to go to my doctor. I really enjoy my time there.

I've been a patient of Dr. Shama for the last 10 plus years. She is the best internal medicine doctor that I've ever visited. She listens and actually cares which is not a common trait among Doctors these days. I highly recommend Dr. Shama!!

Great Doc been using for years! Highly recommend!

Dr Shama has been my Doc for several years. I like a practice that is proactive and will embrace my personal practice of wellness/nutrition and lifestyle but bring the medical expertise into the mix without fighting that. She listens well, asks great questions, brings a lot of knowledge to my care and works with me to find the best course of care for me. I was so grateful to find her. She is caring, thorough, incredibly smart! Her office is spa-like and relaxing and the staff are warm and friendly. I have and would referred others! Definitely.

Huge wait time about 45 minutes before first nurse check and then again about 40 minutes for the doctor to come. Doctor spend only about 10 minutes with me and then i had to wait another 50 minutes to get the blood taken for test. Doctor has not ordered all the blood test that we spoke about. After test done no prescription given even when the range was too low for iron/vitamin etc. no return call from the office even after leaving urgent VM. The doctor and staff was nice enough when I visited a couple of times. The problem is that they don't answer their phones. There were several instances in which I called, left messages and they never returned them. I had to keep calling until I got someone to answer. Today I called and tried to set up an appointment to see the doctor asap, left a message , they never returned my call. I expect a doctor's office to be responsive. I have been seeing Dr.Shama for over a year. She is thorough, friendly, and really cares about her patients. All of the office staff are courteous and kind. The office has great time management and the wait is never long. Dr. Shama has helped me out tremendously with various medical issues.

SORRY, too bad with time management. Waiting in the lobby for 45 mins after checking in on time is no fun. Doctor is good, but time is important to patients as well.

Very bad experience. I had an appointment at 7:45 and I showed up at 7:30. The facility was closed. The front desk person showed up at 7:40. When I asked if the doctor will be able to make it at 7:45 , she wasn’t sure. She asked me to reschedule. What is the point of making an early appointment if the doctor can not make it at that time. Why do they even give early appointments if they can not even open the facility at that time. I cancelled the appointment after waiting for 10 min and would never go there again. Very bad experience. Dr. Shama is one of the best Doctors in the Alpharetta, Milton, Johns Creek, South Forsyth areas. She is very attentive to your overall health and a very caring and compassionate Doctor. On a scale of 1-10, I would rate Dr. Shama a solid 20.

She does tests that you will not know about until you receive the bill in the mail. This is a common tactic used to bill higher. Don’t use her unless you have a low deductible.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Shama recently and was so impressed with her knowledge and professionalism. I was able to get an appointment with ease and didn't wait in her waiting room for more than 5 minutes. I loved my experience so much, I sent my husband shortly after and he was equally impressed. Highly recommend Dr. Shama!

She is the most amazing doctor I have ever visited, and I am grateful to have found her. She takes her time, and she genuinely cares about the patient... it is felt. She is incredibly thorough, and she has trained her staff the same way.
