Saw Dr. Koning today since I have been suffering with a recurrent UTI for 5 months ( I'm on my 6th round of antibiotics) and wanted to ask him why this keeps happening and if he could retest for a UTI. Well he comes in without introducing himself and begins talking quickly without letting me explain my history and situation or ask questions. He orders a urine test and more antibiotics and tells me to come back in 3 weeks and walks out the door. I never found out the results of my urine sample or had any of my questions answered. I felt robbed for paying my copay to spend 2 min with the doctor. I am scheduled to have an outpatient surgery with this doctor but will most likely be cancelling and going to another provider bc of the horrible treatment I got at this visit today and due to the fact that I wouldn't trust this doctor. Kayla the nurse practitioner on the other hand is an amazing provider. She took the time to review all my history and made me feel like a human being. I would definitely recommend patients to Kayla. We are so delighted to have Dr Koning as our OB Doctor. He has delivered two of my babies and the professionalism and experience is by far the best I have ever seen by him and his entire staff. I always feel comfortable coming to him and felt like I was in great hands during the entire pregnancy and delivery. He is very patient and answers all your questions and concerns and he will always take route of normal vaginal delivery and avoid C Section unless it is necessary. I highly recommend him! Dr Koning is an excellent doctor, he really cares about his patients and is very knowledgable. I highly recommend!

literally the best doctor ever!! I went to another OB for my pregnancy (which is my first) at first, and she gave me no information on what not to eat, or what not to do... nothing! Everyone there also seemed unhappy which made me uncomfortable since I am so excited for this pregnancy! I eventually switched to Dr. Koning since my mom went to him when she was pregnant and HE IS AMAZING! On my first visit I got so much information about my pregnancy, including what I should and should not do, also everyone in the office was sooo nice, happy, and helpful and I felt so glad to be there! The office was very inviting, clean and upbeat. My boyfriend and I are finally at ease and feel like we are being taken care of by Dr. Koning and his amazing team! Everything is very organized and he gave me a quick but detailed rundown of how many appointments we will be having for the rest of my pregnancy and how things will go. Good Doctor, Poor staff support. Although the interactions with the Doctor were all first rate, they have issues in billing and want to push the responsibility of follow-up with the insurance on the patient. It seems weird that you go to a Doctor to feel better, but do not want to have additional stress caused by the incompetency of the accounting staff under the Doctor. The root of the issue (by reading the several other posts) all can be attributed to the Doctors wife and office manager - Julie. She is a person that is willing to loose a patient for a $200 error on their billing to the insurance. Enough said, go find a provider that really remembers what customer service is about.

I can’t say enough positive things about Dr Koning and his staff, I have been seeing Dr Koning for 11 yrs now and have never had a negative experience, I’ve never had a long wait time, I love them, they are all very professional, knowledgeable, thorough, very friendly with great attitudes, and Dr Koning has a great sense of humor that always makes me relaxed and comfortable, and he takes great time to explain and answer my all questions! He is an amazing Dr!!! I really really recommend him. It is my first pregnancy and before I got him, I had like 3 different Dr's I didn't like but he is phenomenal!! Explain everything, answer all of my questions and concerns and took the time to explain everything. The stuff are also amazing and very helpful. Dr. Koning has been my Doctor for 15 years. He and his RNP Kayla Yinger and their amazing staff, Julie, Bree, Jillian and everyone who’s names I can’t remember ??, take incredible care of me. For HRT, I’m in their office once a month. I love these people...they treat me like I matter, like I’m family. I’m grateful to all of them. It’s a real busy practice with amazing people.

After being a patient for 2 years now I would not recommend this medical office to anyone. Some of my experiences have included being left in the exam room for over an hour past my appointment, the RNP is very condescending whenever I asked questions. She barely thumbed thru or did not even review my medical history or chart before or during any of my appointments, was sent for multiple lab work and was never told what labs were being drawn (found out when I received the results thru online Quest results), I have had multiple screenings such as sonograms and ultrasounds and never once received follow up calls with my results, when I requested my Migraine prescriptions to be refilled was told by the RNP that she couldn’t. To this day after multiple appointments and several hundred dollars spent I have never received any explanation or diagnosis for the issues I have. Very disappointed that Dr Koning allows this type of patient care.

Dr. Koning has been my doctor for 13 yrs. He is great! The office is always so nice and clean and nicely decorated. When you make an appointment sometimes you have to wait a few weeks to see him cause he is so booked. Highly recommend Dr. Koning.

Dr Koning delivered both of my children back in the 90's. Although we no longer live in the area, my daughter is pregnant with her first child and I was curious if Dr Koning was still practicing. Glad to see he still is...he and his staff took good care of us during my pregnancies.

Dr. Koning delivered my second baby nearly 16 years ago. I always felt safe under his care throughout my pregnancy. Then because we changed insurance to Kaiser, we sadly had to say good bye to Dr. Koning. Fast forward, I am now an L&D nurse working with OBGYN doctors at another hospital, and I am often appalled to find doctors who are so nice to their patients, but were rude to Nurses! My colleagues who had worked with Dr. Koning in the past told me that not only was he great with his patients, but he was also nice to the nurses! Do not go to this doctor!! Please save your time and money!! First off the staff is so rude and they speak to you in such a condesending manner, all they care about is MONEY MONEY MONEY!! What happend to taking care of your patients and offer great health care and also great customer service ! If you owe them a dime they literally wont see you or help you out in any sort of way untill that dime is paid!! The doctor and the staff does not go out of their way or above and beyond to help out patients / customers even if you have a PPO (which i have PPO ). They have just managed to rack up my bill and do unnecessary exams and not even tell me the correct prices for each exam, i have tried to dispitute it but ofcourse they said it was a misunderstanding but i still have to pay them! WOMEN WITHOUT KIDS SEEKING STERILIZATION OR OBLATIONS BE WARNED: HE WILL MOST LIKELY TELL YOU NO, ESPECIALLY IF YOU’RE UNDER 30!!! I’m a 20 year old seeking an oblation, which technically isn’t a sterilization procedure but does reduce fertility greatly and many doctors consider it one. I called in advanced because I know a lot of doctors have hesitations about preforming the operation on my age group, and was reassured that although I couldn’t speak to the doctor on the phone in advance on my candidacy, that my chart would be reviewed and he wouldn’t let me keep an appointment that I’m PAYING for if he didn’t consider me fit for an oblation. I later come in, pay my 25$ copay, and wasted my time to be told exactly that: he wasn’t even going to consider me for it! The appointment was literally just an oblation consultation, he couldn’t spared a few minutes to read my chart in advance and cancel my appointment despite being dead set on not preforming it on a 20 year old! I’m appalled I wasted my money to be told no for a decision I’ve already made for myself, will only consider raising the rating if he really does come through and recommends me a doctor who will actual do it. Very bold of him too considering he said he also refuses to do abortions. So women can’t get rid of a baby they don’t want, and they also can’t get sterilized if they know they don’t ever want to have kids? Seriously, women don’t exist to fulfill some destiny of childbirth. Next time would go to a doctors who has the patient’s best interests in mind, instead of denying them a procedure they’re legally allowed to have. I’ve heard so many horror stories of the struggle of childless women to get sterilized but being denied in person after wasting my money to see him made me want to cry. I went to see Dr. Koning because ever since I had a menstrual cycle, it had been out of control. Long story short, he did my endometrial ablation on December 1st, 2010. I came from another OBGYN that just went downhill. I had been in pain for more that a year, in and out of the E.R. because of it. A coworker recommended Dr Koning and when I heard Kayla Yinger was here I quickly made an Appointment. This office is clean, very professional and the staff is so kind. Dr Koning saw me and in a few weeks I had my surgery. Made me pay to see him just to tell me he won’t sterilized me. Was told when I called he wasn’t gonna keep the appointment if he didn’t consider me a candidate, but obviously he didn’t care and just took my 25$ to deny and condescend me

After making an appointment for what I thought was my annual exam, I was told I was too early by 4 days. Last year my appointment was Sept 29th, I need to wait 1 year + 1 day, and would need to come back. I asked why my appointment today was even scheduled, I was told it was a mistake. Sorry, I won't be back...my times valuable too.

Whne my Little brother was born Dr. Koning said my little brother would never live a normal life, walk or speak hes said he would be brain dead if only he could see him now. Worst doctor ever.

I never write reviews but this place is terrible in the customer service department. The workers are rude and coming into my first appointment the walls are so paper thin that I heard talking badly about a woman who was asking simple questions about her pregnancy. She has a right to be concerned about her health. Personally it made me feel uncomfortable to hear them speak illy of others as well as its completely unperfessional. When I had went in to get a reoccurring lump in my breast checked out they continued to “monitor” and charge me to keep getting it checked after I had said i gave me extreme pain to the point where I couldn’t even sleep. The staff at Dr. Koning’s office have been very kind and professional. They listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for an OB/GYN in Corona.

I haven’t even been for my first appt. and I’m already impressed. The staff have been on it, following up like you wouldn’t believe. I accidentally cancelled my appt. they called me to double check if that was correct which it wasn’t and they fixed it. Talked to Julie to fix my mistake and mentioned to her how I had just been to the ER because of some weird chest pains, she was immediately concerned and asked right away if they had checked the baby. The was really taken with how concerned and kind she was and I haven’t even met them yet. Just had another little concern and called the on call doctor, they answered right away, no service to go through or anything. I absolutely love this place as well as the people who run it! I went to Dr. Koning during my first pregnancy-I was younger and very much scared. Not once did they judge me or make me feel like I was less than them. I asked a ton of questions and they were all more than happy to answer them. I eventually ended up seeing Kayla for the majority of my pregnancy. Let me just say, she is freaking amazing! Knowing that I was a first time mom, she made sure to explain everything in full detail-no hesitation or rush. I was scheduled to be induced on a Sunday however, little man decided to make his appearance the Friday before. Kayla happened to be in a C-section and saw my name on the board. It meant so much to me that she took the time to come in my room and say hi and check on me. She didn't have to do that however, she did! Even though Dr. Koning was super quick when I was pushing, it made the experience...less awkward. I just found out I am pregnant and even though I have crappy insurance with an insane deductible, I made sure to make my appointment with Kayla. I had a wonderful experience with this office and the doctor. All of them answered my questions with care and sympathy. Dr. Koning delivered my baby and couldn't be happier. They all met my needs. If you want a great, knowledgeable doctor to help deliver your baby. This is your office.

Dr. Koning has been my Dr for 20 years now. He delivered my son and I was very sick. He was very compassionate and my care was great. In the interim of delivering my now 7 year old he had been there for me with a lump in my breast as well as another issue. Both times he was very compassionate and kind. The office staff knows that I have OCD and am very high anxiety. I recently just had a huge cancerous mass removed and full hysterectomy from a Dr. he referred me to. If he had not been there at the original finding assuring me I would be ok, I would not have made it mentally. He is a wonderful Dr. and man and my family and I will never forget his compassion! I have been seeing Dr. Koning for 20 years. He delivered my first child when I was 19 years old and he was very kind. Now Dr.Koning is still reassuring me and very compassionate. I am high anxiety and he had always taken the time to show that he cares. I really appreciate his kind bedside manner and I have confidence in his care.

I have have nothing but excellent experiences every appointment with Dr Koning and his nurse practitioners, the nursing and office staff are very professional and very friendly, the office is very clean and really nicely decorated. Dr. Koning is a fast talking con man quack of a Dr. My wife was preg. with threatened miscarriage and told not to insert anything yet Koning will find any excuse to stick his fingers in. Told to take iron and calcium after she miscarried we found out taking both together cancel each other out, when we brought this up in office he said he wanted to do yet another pelvic exam. He talks so fast we couldn't get a word in before he was walking out the door... oh and Rx he said he call in, wasn't. Worst experience ever. On September 26, 2015, I had received poor advice and treatment from this gynecologist for HRT replacement. Dr. Koning didn’t listen well enough to my concerns and wrote a small amount of hormone cream in the wrong amount. The staff were smiling at the front desk not paying close attention to my patient concerns. I tried getting in touch with Dr. Koning however, he doesn't return any phone calls to his patients. I received great service from all staff members. Every concern regarding my health was quickly addressed. They are very professional and care about their patients.

Dr Koning was my doctor for my oldest and my youngest daughter. He is freaking amazing and super understanding. Since I didn't have insurance for my middle one we had to go to another doctor, and he didn't even come close.

We had a death in the family and fell behind in payments. Julie Koning is a disrespectful woman who made my pregnant wife feel like crap. She will talk to you like a kid and show no sensitivity. I would not go here if I were you.

I love my doctor!! The staff is wonderful and very helpful...I was always in and out. Office is very clean and there's a relaxing and welcoming feeling when you walk in!
