Dr Schwechter told me that the pain in my neck was from strain. It was not. It was my phrenic nerve. Now half of my diaphragm does not move. Dr Schwechter is not even a pleasant man

Dr Schwechter is a great internal medicine doctore, very good table manners.

Dr Schwechter visited me twice while healing after spinal fusion surgery at St Francis Hospital. I not remember to much since the drugs from surgery and pain medications dull the senses.

Dr Schwechter treats his patients the way it's supposed to be. I never feel rushed or like he thinks I'm wasting his time. He always listens to all of my concerns and answers all of my questions. He is personable and genuinely caring. He is also a fantastic diagnostician. And, I think because of all his years of experience, he has a wide network of specialists that he works closely with and trusts so I feel comfortable with them as well. With Dr. Schwechter you really get the whole package!

I've been a patient of Dr. Schwechter for around 15 years. He genuinely cares, treats you with respect and dignity, makes it his business to get to know you and is an excellent diagnostician. You can have a conversation with him and ask questions. He also refers you to specialists who are like him. Both my husband and my daughter (who is a second year Med student) are also his patients and both like him a great deal!
