Dr. Marc Wahlquist

Dr. Wahlquist is an excellent doctor. I needed a shoulder replacement 2 years ago and went to several doctors. When I met Dr. Wahlquist, and he explained the procedure, I knew he was the one to do the operation. I also go to him for my bad knees. He is the best doctor for my needs.

Went to see Dr. Wahlquist concerning pain in my right hip. I advised him that my pain level was over 10+. I had seen a Dr. a year before that diagnosed me with bursitas...after examaning me (pressing on my right hip bone, lifting my right leg in different positions) he advised me that he didn't think I have bursitas. I wanted a shot of cortisone to help ease the pain and advised him that before the visit I had taken some acetaminophen and I was not in any pain at the moment. He refused to give me a shot and only spent a few minutes with me. I paid for the visit which was a total waste and he appeared to want me to leave asap. He said most patients with bursitas will JUMP when he pressed on my hip bone and when I didn't JUMP he said I don't have bursitas. Wait, What???!! I told him that I had taken acetamophen and that I wasn't in pain due to the medication. Waste of my time and money!

Great doctor. He was behind this visit but that happens sometimes. Normally on time.

Dr Wahlquist worked me in when I broke my arm . He has been caring for me , he is very knowledgeable and caring. Also his staff is great!

Listened while I described my shoulder pain. He read my X-rays, assessed extension limits and strength, then provided a diagnosis and treatment. Suggested MRI imaging which confirmed diagnosis.

My experience with Dr Marc Wahlquist and staff treated me with courtesy and respect. Dr Wahlquist and nurse's did a fantastic job on my hip replacement surgery. I give the doctor and staff a 10.

Total professional! Dr. Wahlquist is courteous, respectful, & compassionate. I had a work accident & I was scheduled into his already BUSY schedule. I never felt rushed during my visit. He took his time during my exam & listened closely to me . I would definitely recommend Dr Wahlquist to Family & friends needing Orthopedic Services

Not very supportive, helpful, or personal. I told them why I needed an appointment, drove across town& paid a deductible, only to be told they couldn’t help,& referred me to someone else!

Excellent Receptionist, Doctor and Staff for my knee evaluation.

Dr. Marc Wahlquist replaced my knee. I could not have been happier with the surgery outcome and his care.

Even though I was 2 minutes late do you construction. The staff was FRIENDLY & PROFESSIONAL. Dr. Wahlquist took time to LISTEN to my issues, was KNOWLEDGEABLE & took time to EXPLAINING each one of my issues I was having to ME. I ended UP having both knees scoped. The Tri-Health physically therapy in Mason was the BEST I've gone to. They do there BEST to work with your schedule. The staff is very FRIENDLY, CARING, & KNOWLEDGEABLE. My experience with Dr Wahlquist and Beacon Orthopedics has been very positive. My surgery was successful and my recovery much faster and less painful than I could have hoped. The care and consideration that I have received throughout could not have been better.

He's a good Doc and in my view even a better man.

The Dr & staff are Extremely personable and went above & beyond to help me get the treatment I needed even with insurance denial.

I would put six stars if I could. Dr. Wahlquist got my knee pain under control and as I was leaving my follow up appointment I mentioned some cramping in my feet and the pain and he educated me on where the cramps originate and how I might have some control on them going forward. I had my hip replacement surgery over two weeks ago. The procedure went very well. I was even able to go home the same day. All of the staff treated me kindly and was very patient with me through recovery. I have seen Dr. WAHLQUIST numerous times for different issues. He did both of my total knee replacements and I have been very happy with the results. Recently I went to see him for some shoulder joint pain due to arthritis. Again gave me pain relief in the form of a corticosteroid injection. I highly recommend him.

His logic was very appealing and so I had him as my surgeon for the hip replacement in 2016. It went smoothly and I recovered very quickly. I think Dr Walquist is an awesome doctor. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He did a hip replacement for me several years ago. I'm grateful everyday being able to get around with out the aid of a walker or cane. I recommend him to anyone considering an orthopedic doctor.

Doctor Wahlquist did my knee surgery last year. He is very receptive and very professional and answers your questions completely. He is a great surgeon. I did continue to have some pain for sometime after surgery and he gave me some treatment which really helped immensely

I met the doctor for only one brief visit. He prescribed therapy and I started the sessions. However I was unable to complete all of the sessions that were prescribed. What time I was able to complete, I was satisfied with all of the service.

Dr Mark Wahlquist did my shoulder surgery. It was a success and I didn't hardly have any pain. I would recommend him for your shoulder surgery. The staff was very helpful and courteous.

Dr Walhquist is easy to talk to and understands what you need. He explains in simple and caring ways and motivates you to heal properly. Both my husband and I have had to see him for injuries and will continue to go back if needed.

This man has no idea who you are. You are just a hip replacement. After seeing me 3 or 4 times he came in and asked if I was a new patient. He literally yelled at me because I was doing so well at the first check up after surgery. Wouldn’t send my cat there. Other hip repair will definitely be elsewhere.

Dr. Wahlquist is kind, funny and very competent

The office was very efficient - I was in my appointment without having to wait. Everyone was very kind and I certainly felt like Dr. Wahlquisr took the time to understand my concerns.

Very prompt, spent time reviewing my test results with me. Explained the issue and came up with a plan of treatment. I would highly recommend him.

The members of the staff at Evendale were all very caring and efficient. Dr. Wahlquist took time to talk with me before and after the surgery and answered all my questions.

Dr. Wahlquist did both my total knee replacements and I couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience from beginning to end. A true testament to my confidence in this doctor happened a year after my surgeries. While in Florida a relative fell against me causing both of us to fall down stairs. I broke the ball and joint in my shoulder. The hospital recommended operating that day, I refused because I only wanted Dr. Wahlquist to operate. After 2 excruciating days riding home I got right in and fixed up with a plate and 12 screws. Thanks Doctor Wahlquist! Dr. Wahlquist explained my surgical procedure very thoroughly and took the time to answer my questions. I was injured and in a lot of pain. So he even repeated what he had told me to reassure me. He always is very pàtient. I never feel that I am being rushed in and out. His support staff is amazing, very compassionate.

I had a total right knee replacement. From bottom to top the experience has been top notch. Dr. Walquist is friendly, courteous and professional. He and his staff are a pleasure to be around. I was really floored that Dr Walquist took the time to call me and check on me after the operation. A class act in my book.

I am almost always taken on time. when I am not, I understand that sometimes a broken bone needs attention first, and that's OK. Dr. Wahlquist gives me his full attention and answers all my questions in understandable terms. He is very pleasant, has a good sense of humor and is a pleasure to see.
