Dr. Mariano M Piedra

I saw Dr Piedra for 20 years. Wonderful man and psychiatrist. He literally saved my life. Very caring, thorough and wants what's best for you. I will miss him terribly since he retired. Hope I can find someone close to filling his shoes. Robin Z

Dr. Piedra is easy to talk to and he really listens. I have been there more than 10 years and I hate to think someday he is going to retire.

Dr. Piedra possesses great interpersonal skills! He did a wonderful job as a diagnostician and has been very conscientious as to following my progress and making adjustments when appropriate. I would highly recommend this physician!

I have always had great experiences and never felt rushed at all.

There was NO visit. Definitely feel betrayed by his lack of care and that he would let three women in his office run his practice. When did it become okay for office workers to decide who our physician would talk to or not?

Answered quickly on a holiday weekend. Adjusted medication to help behavior. Thanks.

This is the worst doctor anyone with mental health issues could go to. He shared all of my personal information with someone who called in about me without my consent and did nothing to help me after a suicide attempt. Please do not go here!

For some of the negative comments, did you ask him questions you needed to find out for an answer? I find him excellent, believe me when I ask him for his opinion on a problem, he was excellent giving me advice. I have been going to him for years. People who haven't gone to him read this. To the negative people, you really do need big time mental help

I have been seeing Dr Piedra for 10 + years now. He has helped me tremendously. He’s kind, caring and really listens and understands my needs as an individual. I’ve also seen a counselor he referred me to for 10 years in his practice, who is also very caring. I really like that he has counseling in his practice and his staff are friendly too! : )

Neuropsychiatry and Counseling Assc. is a terrible place to improve your mental health! I've been a patient for years and I dread every appointment. There is an impersonal feel to it. It is difficult to make appointments, and the staff does a poor job of calling back. The appointments are brief. I've met with numerous doctors at this practice and have not felt that any of them really understood mental illness- just that they were pill-pushers. I'm currently seeking help elsewhere. Don't go here!

I had the worst experience with Dr. Piedra. I was a patient of Dr. Atri, but she was booked so I decided to see her partner.. Dr. Piedra...that was the worst decision ever.. a waste of money and time. Don't waste ur time there...seek a real professional elsewhere.

i have been going to see Dr Piedra for 28 years. He helped me and is very considerate, knowledgeable and takes the extra mile never to busy when you have appointment he takes the extra time like you the only patient during that time. With Gods help and Dr.l Piedra I have been able to live a normal life .

I love Dr. Piedra. He is efficient, professional, ethical, and experienced with a great sense of humor. Interviews are focused and he is approachable with any questions and concerns. I feel very fortunate to have him as my psychiatrist.

Have not met with Dr. Piedra but met with his nurse practitioner. They closed everything down before I left. They did not give a receipt for my co-pay,which I reminded them that I had to pay. I was harassed by phone after the appointment for information not on the paperwork and threatened with having to pay as a self payer if I did not drive back in at the moment requested. I received 7 calls in a business day demanding information. After calling my cell phone 7 times I was called at work.
