I’m crying right now i dont leave bad review as much as I can but i think this is needed.. Whoever answer the phone just now hope you can get a good sleep tonight treating us that way.. Ive been trying to get ahold of this clinic since yesterday all day been reaching VM the first time this receptionist/nurse answered the phone she already sound irritated when i told her my 10mons old daughter has been sick for the last 5 days vomiting diarrhea severe cough (she tested positive) when i took her to the ER 5 days ago. Im calling to see if i can do a follow up check up and maybe doctor Oconnell can prescribe a stronger medicine. she cut me off to say hold on and came back says as per doctors note I need to take her to the ER didnt let me finish first and when i asked why i cant just bring her there she became irritatedly told nothing they can do as my baby have covid.. Dr Oconnell has been very nice to us as she knows im a single mom and no family at all around.. but this lady needs to be on a different field as she doesn't know the meaning of compassion and very heartless.. Recently, my daughter was prescribed new medication that required an in person follow up. Unfortunately, due to the Covid Spike, in person learning cancellation at daughters school. We opted to have daughter learn remote up north for a few weeks. I called the doctors office and asked to have her in person appointment conducted as a telehealth visit. Dr O’Connell declined, suggested I drive 8 hours round trip on a week night to make in person meeting. Based on the Governors recent recommendation for a pause, Dr O’Connell was able to honor the request. My daughters medical plan was reviewed with her school and the doctors willingness to forego a prescription renewal without an person visit, was not in my daughters best interest. She is very rigid and set in ways that are not empathetic to her patients needs. My daughters mom even asked the doctor for a pet note for her apartment and she was unwilling to say a pet would benefit my daughter during Covid.

Brushes off concerns, very condescending to first time parents. Constantly compares your child to her children. Very short and brash.

She does a great job and has been wonderful with our family.

Very thorough and very smart. She catches things that other doctors do not! I wouldn’t trust my child with anyone else.

Dr. O'Connell is amazing! She's caring, personable and very thorough. My daughter was devastated when she turned 18 and aged out. She;s the best doctor my family has ever had!

Dr.O'Connell is a very personable and kind doctor. She is very thorough when examine. I highly recommend her.
