Mr. Michael A. Venazio

I’ve been seeing the NP, Amber Rule, for about 18 months. Amber is professional and knowledgeable, and has addressed my medical needs with kindness. The wait time is usually short, and I’m very pleased with the care I’ve received during every visit.

I was new to the area and didn't have a doctor. I went for an annual physical. Everyone seemed pretty nice. Weird thing is that I never met the actual doctor, only was met with the nurse practitioner. She seemed nice. During the physical they did my vitals and did an EKG. They did not check my urine. They couldn't do blood till then next day so I had to go back it, which is fine. The next day I asked the nurse why they didn't check my urine for the physical. They said "they wont check it unless there was an issue". Seemed very odd. So all in all they're def not for me and I didn't feel like I was cared about. Another note, they coded the visit incorrectly and had me pay a copay for annual, and they charged me for items that I shouldn't have been billed for. Insurance took care of that once I called. I switched to Dr. Venazio due to not being satisfied with my Previous Dr or staff. All I can say is they are all Wonderful caring people who work there. I wish I would have switched sooner.

Doctor Assistant is full of herself. Tired of dealing with them. They are no help with finding in network doctors for referrals, etc. Last I knew, doctors office took care of that. Also everyone's insurance is paying for a doctor we never see!

The Doctor himself is an awesome doctor, but Ashley at the front desk is so rude, I am surprised she still has a job, especially considering she is the first representation of the doctor and staff you meet! It is possible to answer a question and concern without being rude and condescending to the patients!!

I have been going to this practice since the day I came of age. These people have taken care of me and my family for years, and are some of the most caring people I've come to know. I've been tended to by both Dr. Venazio and Amber Rule, APRN. You won't find any better here in sebastian.

The one star is for the Nurse Practitioner- the empty other stars is for the unprofessional and lack of service that I received by the office staff. Also, watch how they bill your insurance. When I asked for my medical records- I was told by doing you aren't able to come back. Still haven't received records to date.

Overall care you will get is good here; I see the ARNP for appointments. The only thing I dislike is how long it takes to get in and out of this office.

My parents were under the care of Dr. Venazio for over 20 years. When I moved my parents to North Carolina, my father died one month later due to a subdural hematoma, untreated in Florida. My Mother's doctor in NC reviewed her health and made many changes in her medications and instituted a pro-active approach to her health care. As an RN, I am very disappointed in the perfunctory care my parents received from Dr., Venazio.
