Dr Saleem has his patients backs, he is a great Doctor.

I had to wait about 45 minutes but I was in no hurry. While waiting there were two people that came in and complained about the lack of communication and not receiving any call back as promised. I had the same experience. One person stated that ever since Midwest took over the communication has been terrible

He asked questions and I answered them. Checked my heart and asked if I needed refills on my meds. Very gentle man.

Dr. Saleem is kind, compassionate and highly knowledgeable in his field. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Saleem is the best. He listens. He’s direct. He shows he cares. Even though I moved away from the area, I still drive an hour each way to stay under his care.

The entire team, from front office staff, nursing to Dr Saleem is amazing. I moved away from Naperville but come back for excellent cardiac care!

Honestly and knowledge

He made me feel like he really cared and explained everything clearly.

Read abnormal ekg test that another cardiologist read at another hospital. He assured me that everything was fine and explained everything to me.

Dr. Saleem and his staff are quite extraordinary. I have had the best experience with this office and the whole team. THANK YOU for making me feel important, treating me like family, many laughs, all while treating my heart.

I agree the negative review can't possibly be for DR Saleem. In my wildest most delusional dreams, I can't relate that to DR Saleem. He is one of the most caring, sharing, genuine, gifted doctors I have and I have a lot as a cancer patient who has survived 30+ years since diagnosis. I have at least 7 docs and have had close to 2 dozen over the years and I (like a previous reviewer) consider him family. The world is a MUCH better place because of this man. I know my life is!!! I rarely use the term, "bully" but in this case, it fits. He actually told me, verbatim, "Don't look at side effects of medication unless you have gone to medical school" when I expressed concern. He then told me I was on my own unless I took the medication. Because I questioned his perceived authority, after perusing the potential side effects of the medication, he actually sent a psychiatrist to my hospital room. Ultimately, I took the medication, and sure enough, I had serious side effects which required me to stop taking it. His staff is dishonest. There is zero accountability. They prescribed the wrong medication and actually argued with my pharmacist over it. If I had taken it, the results would have been very dangerous. Medical mistakes are the third leading cause of death in this country. Dr. Saleem's staff and the staff at Edward Hospital are keen reminders as to why. A potentially lethal mixture of arrogance and incompetence. I have found a far more competent and professional electrophysiologist and will NEVER go to Edward again. Dr Saleem is an amazing doctor. He put in a defibrillator/Pacemaker when I was 32 because of hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy and has been my doctor since. He treated me like family and made my family feel like we’re part of his family. I actually read a negative review at the top and was laughing out loud at how ridiculous that was. My life was saved by Dr Saleem and his staff. You want a cardiologist that cares, give him a try. Dr Saleem is an amazing doctor. Dr Saleem is indifferent and largely inaccessible. He defers patient care to nurse practitioners who are inadequately trained to deal with patients with serious heart disease, to the detriment of his patients health.

Dr. Saleem is a good doctor; however, his staff is another story. To make an appointment, you have to contact his assistant and she rarely answers the phone. I believe she screens her calls. You have to rely on a voicemail and that's if she calls you back. I asked his office to fax a cardiac clearance to a surgeon's office. It took many attempts on my part before they even did it successfully. His staff is awful!!!! I can't stress that enough.

I was referred to Dr. Saleem for a cardiac cyroablation to correct AFIB events I had previous years. He performed it November 2016 at Edward Heart Hospital in Naperville, Illinois. It's one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. He and his office are very popular and he is in demand, but I never felt rushed with the million questions my wife or I had....he simply takes the time, is very knowledgeable, personable and pleasant. I recommend Dr. Saleem and Edward Heart Hospital be given a look if you're considering this procedure. Dr. Saleem is an excellent physician. He is very knowledgeable and looks at the patient as a whole, not just his specialty. He’s easy to talk to and takes his time with you. His staff is lovely and accommodating. I’m grateful I found him and highly recommend giving him a try for your cardiac needs.

Very personable, very professional, and very experienced

Dr. Moeen Saleem is an exceptional human being and cardiologist. Dr. Saleem operated on my husband, Patrick Marshall, in June 2016, and saved his life after his cardiac arrest. Thank you Dr. Saleem for saving my husband's life after his cardiac arrest in June 2016. He is exceptional, brilliant, compassionate, and yet humble. We were very fortunate to have Dr. Saleem implant my husband's special bi-ventricular cardio defibrillator, giving him a second chance at life. Thank you Dr. Saleem for everything you did during my husband's crisis. We will never forget your ingenuity.
