I cannot recommend this practice. between horrible bedside manners and scare tactics I took my care for myself and my baby somewhere else.

Worse experience ever. Medical staff smoking. Would give -100000 stars if possible. Uppity Wyomissing Borough.

I go to this practice since Dr. Muallem delivered me and my brother. I ended up really connecting with Dr. Strieb who did my C-section 8 years ago and now I see her every year. She’s super understanding, is patient and listens to my concerns, provides recommendations and she is overall very kind. Every woman i know whether expecting or not, I recommend go to her. Today I saw the midwife Charlotte and she’s an absolute gem as well. I walked in a nervous wreck, she immediately recognized it and was able to calm my nerves. She’s very well spoken and answered all my questions. This practice is fantastic, if I could give it more than 5 stars I would.

For the last 15 years I have been a patient in Dr. Muallen’s office. His bedside manners you can’t find any where. He cares for his patients and help you go thru your pregnancy worries free. They answer any questions big or small. He personally called you with any test results after having a baby he called you to make sure everything is ok and things are ok. I have recommended him and his office to a lot of people and they haven’t being disappointed. Best OBGYN office in Berks.

Best OBGYN I’ve ever had in my life! Doctor Nabil Muallem delivered my son when I was 17 years old. Just this past year his lovely daughter delivered my second child! Sadly I don’t live in berks county anymore and I cried my eyes out when I found out I was pregnant recently and couldn’t go to this practice due to the distance from my current home. This practice and staff with always hold a special place in my heart.

Dr. Muallem and his staff have been amazing. They are they for the patient. You are not just a number. They truly care about their patients. I highly recommend this office. Dr. Muallem and each doctor at his practice is truly best in class. He actually delivered me, and delivered my first two babies. He is extremely knowledgeable and genuinely cares about his patients. He cares so much in fact that his practice is the only practice in the reading area that delivers their own patients at local hospitals. I am so grateful to be a patient of him, his daughter, and Dr. Streib. I recommend this practice to anyone that I can!

I came to Dr. Muallem’s practice in 2021 after having a bad experience at a different practice for my first sons pregnancy and delivery. My friend was a longtime patient of his and recommended me and I am so grateful I decided to switch. Dr. Muallem’s practice is one of the only private small practices that exist anymore. I highly recommend going to his practice if you want to feel cared for and not just a number in an assembly line like the other non-private practices. In his practice you see one of the 4 providers throughout your pregnancy and one of those 4 delivers your baby so they actually know you and recognize you. Dr. Muallem and the other providers/staff in his practice (including his daughter Dr. Muallem) have top notch bedside manners and care about you and your family. Dr. Muallem goes above and beyond his duties as an OB (he stayed around in the delivery room while my son was in worked on by the NICU team for some breathing difficulties after birth to make sure he was ok and then personally called me every day for several days to see how we were doing. He also called us to check on us after our daughter was born too). You can tell Dr. Muallem loves what he does and truely cares with a level of compassion that seems to be a rarity in todays healthcare system.

I had a great experience with Dr. Nabil Muallem and his team as my OB doctor to care for and deliver my twins! After switching from another practice, I couldn't have been happier with the care I received. All the doctors and staff were very friendly and helpful. I hardly had to wait in the waiting room for my appointments as they were always on time. All 3 of the doctors were very informative during my appointments and even if I had a question at home, they were very quick to answer via myChart or by phone. On the day I delivered, Dr. Laila Muallem was on call and she was the best! I absolutely loved the team of doctors Muallem's office works with at Tower Health. Dr. Laila Muallem's resident was great! Even though he wasn't on call, Dr. Nabil Muallem stopped by during my delivery, which was a great surprise! I would definitely recommend this OBGYN practice!

I must start by saying that my review is biased because Dr. Muallem saved my life. Despite my lack of risk factors, he insisted I get a mammogram every year starting at age 40. When I got too busy and was late one year, he called to nag me to schedule it. I turned out to have three malignant tumors that were not there the prior year. After treatment I’m doing well and I’m still here, which may or may not have been the case if Dr. Muallem weren’t my doctor. All that aside, I can say Dr. Muallem is professional, thorough, and kind. He calls with test results….even if he didn’t order the test. He listens to your history. He calmly asserts what is the appropriate course of action. If you can choose him as your doctor, I don’t know why you wouldn’t.

I have been a patient of Dr. Muallem for 20 years. He is a kind a compassionate man who is also a highly skilled doctor. He was recommended to me when I moved to the area. I was 36 at the time and wanted an OB/GYN who would be there every step of the way when I decided to have a child. He took time from the first appointment to get to know me and took a sincere interest in my work and family. He guided me through my journey to have a child at age 41 with nothing but encouragement, excitement, and knowledge. Having him deliver my baby was very important to me. I ended up having several complications, but with his experience, expertise, and calm demeanor, I had no idea how serious it had been until well after my daughter was born and we went to a follow up appointment. I highly recommend Dr. Muallem. Especially if you would like the doctor that you see throughout your pregnancy to be the one to actually deliver your baby. My daughter is now 13 and I am still his patient.

Dr. Nabil Muallem truly cares about his patients! He's the only doctor that I know that personally calls his patients with lab results. I cannot say enough wonderful things about him and this practice. Beware: At all other OB doctors through TowerHealth they rotate and you may not know who will be delivering your baby. More than likely you won't know who is on-call at the time of delivery. That will NEVER happen at this practice. At Dr. Muallems' and Dr. Strieb's office it will be one of the 3 of them that will delivery your baby. The care and professionalism you receive at this office is top notch. I have nothing but good experiences with Dr. Muallem. He was my obstetrician for all of my 3 boys. With every delivery is was a pleasant experience. Especially when he allows you to grab your baby and pull him up to your chest for the first skin to skin experience.

I had my son October 2020, I had just transferred care to Dr.Muallem and his staff towards the end of my pregnancy. They were absolutely amazing and addressed every concern I had. The office staff is extremely friendly and everyone asks about my son whenever I go. The care they provide is amazing! I highly recommend to any woman!

This was my first time at the office pregnant with my third child. I had previously visited three other offices with my other pregnancy’s and had very poor experiences. Despite the office being an hour away it was worth it. Everyone in the office was very kind and professional and would address any concerns I had with compassion! During my labor I had Dr. Laila Muallem she was very personable and explained everything in an understandable way! Dr. Nabil Muallem delivered my son he communicated very well about when was time to push and when was time to stop and he was very sweet and also took pictures of my husband and I! My wife and I will always remember Dr. Muallem for all his kindness and concern after we lost two pregnancies. We now have two healthy kids who are all grown up. My wife still has him as her gynecologist and could not imagine switching to anyone else. He truly cares about his patients and always takes to time to ask about the kids

I saw Dr. Laila Muallem for the first time, and she was phenomenal…..great bedside manner, professional and thorough….she never made me feel rushed and answered all of my questions. The medical assistant was also super nice. Overall, I am very pleased to have chosen this practice.

Unprofessional & terrible manners

I don’t recommend this clinic if you’re a working mother because they’re not flexible with working with your schedule or missing any appointments they will criticize you and be bias on your situation and make you feel awful especially midwife nurse that works there. Very unprofessional to the point that I walked out crying on my visit when I was 36 weeks pregnant to the point that I had to relocate. No pregnant woman should feel disrespected and talk down to the way I did in this clinic. Overall my husband called in and ask for an explanation the office manager explain to them that they tend to be a little bit tough on patients when they missed an appointment. My husband explain there’s no excuse on being unprofessional and there’s always a way to come across in a professional matter. Especially working with pregnant woman the clinic showed no sympathy towards the situation and was more than happy to transfer my documents please think twice coming here. The worst doctor I ever met. The services there are so outdated on top compare to other doctor offices. The doctor I met had no idea what she was doing. Everyone I’ve interacted with at this office are kind, patient, and informative. I’ve been coming to this practice for over 10 years and just had my first baby in August. I looked forward to my monthly visits and then weekly visits to see how my baby was doing. Results were provided promptly after tests and thoroughly explained. Absolutely awful. They didn’t take my fiancé seriously through the entire process and I’m pretty sure it’s due to her age. Every single DR. At some point gave her a hard time even though it was her first child, not to mention they constantly wanted to send my fiancé home at the hospital even though her contractions were 3 minutes apart. Going to a new practice when the next one comes around. Would not recommend to anyone if you’re a little on the younger side. They will NOT take you seriously and make the whole process hellish. I switched to this practice very early on in my pregnancy. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Muallem and his team. I was a high risk, more complicated pregnancy, and everyone that I spoke to in the office only ever offered me compassion and respect. They listened to and addressed my concerns throughout my entire pregnancy. I switched here from a practice that literally had nurses calling to relay important messages. Dr. Muallem and his team (whether it be himself, Luanna, or Dr. Streib) always called me directly with test results and discussed. I’ve actually recommended several friends to this practice even in the few short months that I’ve been under their care. I just delivered my happy, healthy baby on Friday and Dr. Muallem delivered. He listened to everything I had to say during labor and delivery, which lead to a very successful birth. He checked in on myself, my husband, and our newborn several times throughout our stay, which is amazing. When I found out I was pregnant I knew I wanted the best care for me and my baby.  After much research I came across Dr. Muallem and I'm so happy I did.  This doctor is truly exceptional! From the moment I entered the doors to the office, I felt welcomed, cared for, and completely at ease. Dr. Nabil has gone above and beyond to be sure that me and my baby are well and healthy. He is extremely knowledgable and personable. I never was made to wait. And if ever I needed to contact him or his staff, they were super speedy in responding to my inquiries. While I have no experience with the other doctors at this practice, I can say I would NOT recommend Luana (MD??) to anyone. She is very judgmental, and it was barely an exam but an emphatic discussion of my pain being not related gynecological issues, which I believe, so we could have continued with a routine PAP. It is in my personal opinion, that if you are in women's services, you should remain objective; she could not. I do appreciate the staff's quick response to have me seen, due to reported pain, and the nurse was nice. However, walking into the room, in the middle of the exam, 3 times is not something I appreciate. It was unprofessional. The stars are for the office staff and response time. I have been a patient at this practice for about 5 years in which the doctors delivered 2 of my babies and never had any experience other than the BEST! The doctors take their time to personally address all concerns and questions and sit down and talk to you at length after each appointment. The doctors call you personally to give you test results. I have never seen an office operate like this before, they care about you and your family! The doctors were even sure to read and stick to my 4 page birth plan!! After my gynecologist moved, she recommended several other doctors. I chose Dr. Muallem and I am very pleased that I did. He was thorough and spent some time with me in his office after the exam. He also called me personally to report the results of my mammogram(normal.) I would recommend him to my friends who are looking for a gynecologist.

I was a patient with Theresa McClain and I was experiencing extreme health concerns. When I went to meet with her it was the first time I had hope in a long time. She scheduled me and prepped me for surgery and THEN SHE LEFT. Not only did she up and leave but the irresponsible people at this practice never even let me know. I was prepped to go out of work and called in to check on surgery and that was the point they let me know she left. I stated my concern and Dr. Strieb ignored me and had a new treatment plan. Their lack of concern is disheartening and I hope people research well before going here. Not one apology was offered and no follow up call or email. This was a true case of patient abandonment. Dr McClain was the best and Heidi strieb, McClain isnt here anymore tho. Theres 3 doctors that you rotate between with appointsments, it's not like..you pick the dr you want and that's who delivers the baby, it just happens to be whoever is on call at the time. I did have two negative experiences here. The first thing was the ultra sound tech doesn't have the greatest bedside manner. She was judgmental toward me for waiting till 10wks to be seen by a doctor and forced me into an uncomfortable conversation about it. I read online most doctors wont see u till week 8 and week 10 was the soonest I was able to schedule with work to go. I didnt like that. She made me feel like a bad human while I'm laying there with her showing instraments in my hoo ha. Also the receptionist the main one also gets catty. If you need to ask her for something she gets annoyed like paperwork for FMLA , and it kept needing redone becuase they sent it in twice not filled out completly. Dr. Muallem is an excellent doctor, very caring and compassionate. His calm and caring demeanor put me at ease. He is extremely knowledgeable and accessible. Dr. McClain is an outstanding obgyn. She delivered my first born baby girl. I'm so grateful for her. She highly knowledgeable and has such a great aura. She made my 9 months a wonderful experience couldn't ask for anyone better. ????????????

I can’t say enough about this office. It is because of Dr. Muallem and the team at Reading Hospital that my child and I are alive today after a horrific and sudden medical event and emergency c-section. His knowledge, experience, expertise, passion for his work and genuine care and attention to his patients allow me to confidently trust and recommend him and his partners to any one. Office visits have been thorough and pleasant with each of the doctors. So pleased I switched!

Dr. Muallem has been my GYN for close to 20 years. He is a great doctor and I am constantly recommending him to others. He is very compassionate and takes time to get to know you. He is also very knowledgeable and has gotten me through some very serious medical conditions. You are in very good hands with Dr. Muallem.

Dr. Muallem has provided my care and delivered 2 of my children. One of those was born 10 weeks premature via an extremely urgent c-section. I have had nothing but great experiences from a truly compassionate doctor at each visit and for each delivery Considering the circumstances of my first pregnancy i was high risk with my second one. The extra care this required was always genuine, smooth, and top-notch. My 2nd pregnancy occurred without any complications and I have Dr. Muallem to thank!

I have been seeing Dr.. Muallem for about 15 years now. I am past childbirth years, so I cannot comment on that except from what I hear - and I hear he is excellent. I know several female doctors who have him as their provider - in fact, that is why I chose him. A nicer man you will not find. He makes you feel very at ease and after the exam he always sees the patient once they get dressed in his office to chat. Always a smile on his face and always time to listen.

I transferred to Dr. Muallem when I found out I was pregnant. I was surprised to find out I was expecting twins and spent a lot of time in the office for ultrasounds, non-stress tests and frequent checks. Dr. Muallem and Dr. Strieb were wonderful at answering questions and follow ups. During labor and delivery Dr. Muallem was efficient and encouraging. I still see Dr. Muallem for yearly check ups and always feel well cared for.

I was recommended to Dr. Muallem 10 years ago when I was pregnant with my first child. 3 babies later, I continue to see him. This is the best Doctors office - caring, friendly and knowledgeable. His care is like no other. I have and will continue to recommend him to anyone needing an OB/GYN.

We are very fortunate to have Dr. Muallem in our community. He is a very active listener and clearly a very skilled and compassionate physician. The culture of caring and sincerity he promotes is evident throughout his practice. He delivered all of our children and, my husband and I will always remember how Dr. Muallem seemed to be as excited and happy for the moment of arrival of each baby. For a physician to continue to have that sense of awe for each new life if amazing!

Dr. Muallem was recommended 4 years ago and he has exceeded my expectations. Dr. Muallem and his team are all so very friendly and welcoming and excellent at what they do. I have had two babies in their care and the service they provide is like none other. He calls to check up on you even of it is out of "normal" business hours. The care you receive is hard to find these days.

Doctor Muallem is the only doctor I've ever been to who has a nice small and intimate office where everyone knows who you are when you call or visit. He goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and that all of your questions are answered. When I delivered my baby, Dr. Muallem made me feel as though I was in good hands, but he also shared in our excitement. His passion for his job is evident, but he is also knowledgeable, confident, and thorough. I would recommend him to anyone.

I have been seeing Dr. Muallem for a few years now. He is a very kind doctor and he gives thorough exams. He is not quick to rush you along and is always available to answer any questions. After I had my son, he called a few times to see how I was doing and to check on the baby. I feel very safe and cared for when I see him and I would recommend his practice to anyone.

Dr Muallem is a fantastic doctor. You honestly can tell right away that he actually cares about his patients. After performing a cesarean section on my wife, he would check on her multiple times per day to see if she and baby were doing well. He exudes an aura of happiness that is very contagious. Makes you feel at ease about everything. He's very knowledgeable and has the ability to make everything easy for his patients to understand. Very highly recommended.

Dr. Muallem is an OB you can trust to make the right decision no matter what the circumstance. He is incredibly knowledgeable, and I have had complete trust in his ability with both of my very different deliveries. The peace of mind he provides to expecting mothers through his knowledge and experience is second to none. I recommend him to anyone I know who is pregnant or hoping to get pregnant!During the most important part of your life you can depend on him to be there for you! He is THE best!
