Dr Cohen talked through my options with me with all the pluses and minuses of each so I felt certain I made the correct decision I the end.

I would not recommend Dr. Cohen. His attempt at an anatomic total shoulder replacement of my right shoulder ended with him aborting the surgery after 4.5 hours and only 1/2 the prosthetic joint placed. He never came to see me after the surgery or even called when I got home to explain what had gone wrong or to see how I was doing. It wasn't until I went to my 1 week follow up appt. that the ever changing stories began. It went from what was intended to be: total shoulder replacement, to what he documented with my insurance company: hemiarthoplasty, to what he told me in his office: a "ream and run" procedure. When asked direct questions in his office he was stuttering, vague and evasive but was quick to refer me to another surgeon he thought could perform a revision. After 8 weeks I had the revision surgery completed by an amazingly competent surgeon. My advice is do not use Dr. Cohen! My advice to Dr. Cohen is to stick to your patents and surgical devices you so braggingly display in the halls of your office and stay out of the OR for the sake of people you practice your mediocre surgical skills on.

Dr. Cohen and his care team will be proactive and professionally diligent to help you recover to your best! I highly recommend him and his team after my experience recovering from a serious shoulder injury thanks to their expertise with primary priority on their patients.

My doctor Nat Cohen and staff are great. Should be a way for established patients to leave messages for their doctor without going through the operator with canned info and long wait on hold. Or email system to docs medical assistant. Very annoying.

It was great to know Dr. Cohen’s orthopedic experience and the great surgery that he performed on my procedure, would like to also comment on his staff and the great work they performed during my visitations and the great service they provided.

I had a procedure on my shoulder/rotator cuff 6 months ago. Dr Cohen is an amazing surgeon and a pleasure to communicate with. I have always felt very well taken care at Orthonorcal. I am very happy with the results of my surgery and every interaction I have had with Dr Cohen and the staff at Orthonorcal.

He is new Dr. For me. Very straightforward and friendly, good bedside manner. Explains everything very thoroughly and listened to my questions. I did not feel rushed. The office was friendly and organized.

I loved having the x-ray facility right there. That saves me a trip elsewhere. I enjoyed meeting Kate. I liked Dr Cohn giving me options. However I would have liked a list of what’s wrong with my shoulder. I will call Kate tomorrow to make that list.
