Nicole Langelier

Dr. Langelier is a competent and compassionate doctor in whom I have complete trust. She fully and clearly explains options, and she is accessible and responsive. Post surgery, over a weekend, she returned my call to address a reaction I was having and called in a prescription that required a quick dose of steroid. She is everything you might want and need in a dr entrusted to care for your eyes. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Langelier was kind, thorough and professional. I was happy how she addressed my eyelid issues and used her knowledge to correct droopiness while leaving the natural contour of eyelid area. My surgery was easy and recovery quick. So happy with the results. VEI Outpatient Surgical Center care was outstanding by all staff there.

Dr. Langolier performed an extensive repair on my lower eyelid after a basal cell carcinoma removal. The results are amazing and there is almost nothing visible after she reconstructed the eyelid. No one can tell that I had the surgery! Another doc planned to sew my eyelids shut for 1-2months in order to graft from my upper eyelid. Dr. Langolier chose a different procedure and my eyelids were not sutured together. After two weeks I was completely recovered. Her team at Va. Eye Institute surgical center were compassionate, skillful and friendly--as is Dr. Langolier. She is the best!

I wanted to share my experience with this remarkably skilled physician & her lovely staff. I first consulted Dr. Langelier in May 2021 to address undereye puffiness, dark circles, & asymmetrical brows. I knew Dr. L was the right choice after our first meeting, & had surgery on August 4th. I was anxious in pre-op, but Dr. L & her staff did a fantastic job reassuring & caring for me. Dr. L has a great bedside manner, but most importantly, her surgical skills are phenomenal. I'm a nurse practitioner with 10 years in healthcare, and have worked in aesthetics and OR settings. I can honestly say the sutures Dr. L did are the best I have EVER seen. Bruising has been minimal, too (I was a little sore for a couple days, as expected). I had to keep myself from crying when I saw myself post-op - the results are natural, beautiful, and exactly what I wanted. I'd strongly recommend Dr. Langelier and her team without reservation, and will happily see her again for any eye-related concerns!

Dr. Nicole Langelier performed my surgery on 5/20/21. I wanted the dark bags under my eyes removed and to also tighten up my drooping eyelids. She was very professional and reassuring about how the procedure would turn out. I actually had wanted to get this done over a year ago but Covid came along. The picture I took of myself a day after surgery was a bit scary! Within 2-3 days I was 100% convinced I had made the right decision. As I'm soon to turn 60, it is nice to wake up every morning and NOT see those dark bags under my eyes! I can't thank Dr. Langelier enough!!!

The entire experience with Dr. Langelier and everyone at the Aesthetic Center was great. My initial evaluation was thorough and the doctor explained my condition and options very clearly and well. The procedure was basically painless and recovery easy. Even if they had not been, it was well worth it! The world became a much brighter place with my lids lifted - I had not realized how limited my vision had become. It is as if I have taken off a visor and let the sun in again. Dr. Langelier performed surgery to remove the bags from under my eyes. I am completely satisfied with the results and look much younger than my 73 years. Besides being an excellent physician and surgeon, Dr. Langelier has a wonderful bedside manner and is always on time for my appointments with her. Dr. Langelier performed upper and lower eye lid surgery for me in October 2020. The surgery was very successful and the entire process and results exceeded my expectations. She and her staff are extremely competent, professional, and caring. She was very responsive to any concerns I had, and checked on me several times post surgery. She not only called my wife to provide a progress report but called me at home to check on me. How many doctors would do that? I highly recommend her.

On January 6,2020 Dr. Langelier performed bilateral upper lid blephaplasty at VEI. She explained the surgical procedure, post op instructions and patiently answered my questions. Her written instructions were very thorough. I will say that if patients follow her instructions precisely their procedure will be very successful. I did exactly what she said and had no problems or complications.

The VEI Aesthetic Center offers a customized approach to the treatment of your aesthetic concerns! Dr. Langelier takes the time to discuss all of your options and makes you feel so at ease. Her staff are friendly and knowledgable and made sure to address all of my skin concerns to look my absolute best for my wedding! I can't recommend them enough!

After a fall which basically blew up my eye, Dr. Langelier had to remove my eye. The caring nature of Dr. Langelier and her staff was great. At my first appointment she made me feel comfortable, explained what she needed to do and what I needed to do to get ready. She explained everything to me, made sure she answered my questions and concernes. She even explained all my options of treatment. A few hours after surgery, I was surprised that Dr. Langelier herself, not a nurse or receptionist, called me at home to check on me. She asked about pain, problems or questions. Considering the extent of my injuries and surgery, This was a very good experience. I can't say Thank You enough.

My surgery was an upper lid blepharoplasty . The Dr. Langelier and her staff were super kind and informative in explaining the procedure before and after. Dr. Langelier called after the surgery at night on Friday to check on me, and a PA called called the next Monday to see if I had any concerns. I used the goggles in recovery and in three days no one could tell I had had surgery. My thanks and appreciation to Dr. Langelier and all her staff.

I had eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty), which my insurance company deemed medically necessary due to impaired peripheral vision. I was very impressed with the entire staff at The Aesthetic Center. The procedure, insurance coverage, what to expect during recovery, and follow up was carefully explained, with prompt responses when I had questions. Dr. Langelier has a great bedside manner. Eyes look great! Totally a positive experience. TIP: Buy the goggles they recommend. Even though they are expensive ($150) and insurance doesn't cover them, they speed up recovery by limiting bruising.

Dr. Langelier treated my Ptosis condition & was a referral from my VEI glaucoma/cataract specialist, Robert Knape. Both doctors teamed to assist me in answering my questions and determining the priority of eye surgeries/treatments with the ptosis related eye surgeries being postponed until after glaucoma/cataract surgical release. Dr. Langelier’s consultations were thorough, unrushed, included a review of her previous ptosis patient portfolio and detailed pre- and post- surgery patient preparation and instructions/guidance. Dr. Langelier was caring, interactive & thorough, with no surprises through pre-, surgery and post-surgery follow-up. Her office is new/state of the art , pristine, and convenient; staffed by compassionate and friendly assistants. I am thankful to have been treated for Bilateral Upper Lid Levator Aponeurosis Advancement, Bilateral Lower Lid Canthoplasty, Punctal Plug Insertion and Removal (with cauterization)- Left / Right Eye.

I highly recommend Nicole A. Langelier, M.D. and The Aesthetic Center at VEI. In November 2019, Dr. Langelier performed Bilateral Upper Eyelid Blepharoplasty and Bilateral Ptosis Repair on my eyes. Her initial consult was thorough. She explained the procedures and what to expect in detail. My experience at the Surgery Center was excellent. Calls to the office were returned very quickly and information was complete. Dr. Langelier is caring and competent in these procedures. My results are outstanding. I get compliments every day on how refreshed and bright-eyed I look and, most importantly, my field of vision is greatly increased. I can see better and am back to reading and driving at night! I recommend you purchase the LidLift Goggles offered by the office. They were very effective in minimizing swelling. I didn't have to use ice packs every 30 minutes.

Everything from the first visit to the last was smooth, comforting, comfortable and reassuring. Dr. Langelier and her staff are knowledgeable without being condescending and efficient without being rushed.

Waited weeks for an appointment, months for surgery only to get a call saying the doctor would rather go to a convention than do the surgery. Maybe they can squeeze me in in about three more weeks. You are just another number in a meat market at this place.

After having a very mild "stroke", my left eye had limited left-to-right movement. Dr. Langelier saw me for a pre-surgery appointment to explain what the surgery was. She gave me a thorough exam, check my chart and told me I was healing up well and a surgery was not needed. She was right. Dr. Langelier is the best! In December 2018, she removed the "bags" under my eyes and also did laser resurfacing. The results were immediate and I looked 10 years younger! I followed all of her instructions and 8 months later, I am still very happy. She is so kind, professional, and caring... plus, she does beautiful work! I highly recommend her!!

My husband had reconstruction surgery following MOHs for basal cell skin cancer at the inside corner of his eye. Dr. Langelier did a fantastic job. The only complaint I had was the lack of decent seating in the waiting area for those of us who are older and have had multiple surgeries. Dr. Langelier came out to the car to speak to me after the surgery. She is not only a highly competent doctor, she cares.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Langelier both for reconstruction for a lower eyelid and for eyelid lifts. She is so calm and caring and very careful to be sure you understand what it going on. Dr. Langelier is awesome. Her surgical skills are top notch. She is also a kind, compassionate physician who cares deeply for a successful outcome for her patients. I trusted her implicitly as she performed my delicate eyelid surgery. Following her directions for the do's and don'ts of post-op care resulted in a most minimal amount of swelling and bruising. In fact, everything was pretty much healed in one weeks time and she lifted all restrictions. I strongly urge anyone who needs ophthalmologic treatments to seek out Dr. Langelier. Thank heavens for Dr. Langelier. I was very worried about eyelift surgery since I have dry eye issues as well as a disease of the lids called SLK. I should have had this done years ago but trusted no one until I was referred to her. My surgery was truly an excellent experience and the recovery is only a few days worth of inconvenience. Not only has my vision improved greatly but my eyes actually feel better. I have no issues currently with my dry eye due to the surgery or any effect so far on my SLK. She's truly a doctor you can trust.

Despite concerns prior to the surgery, I had no bruising around my eyes after the lower bleph and minimal swelling that, 10 days later, has almost completely disappeared.
