Couldn’t diagnose my condition and tried to repeat the same tests in his office.

Dr. Anand could not diagnose my condition and wanted to repeat tests only in his office. Would only prescribe medication. Another neurologist diagnosed me in 5 minutes. Rude nurse too. I had surgery for nTOS and got my life back. If my condition lingered as many do, I would have had nerve damage and possibly no use of my left arm. Thankful for the neurologist Dr Waldrop as well as the brilliant surgeon at John’s Hopkins!

Recently visited Dr Anand and had a pleasant experience. He was personable and provided easily digestible information. Will recommend to others.

I would give Dr Anand 5 stars, but front office staff reduces your result. My dad was admitted to a different hospital system due to an emergency. They told us to make appt with Dr Anand within 10 days - I understand a different hospital cannot see your schedule, but the receptionist was very rude in explaining this to me. This was after my elderly mother was trying to reach the office for two days to make an appointment. 10 attempts, sitting on hold for 45-60 minutes each time. Finally I called and sat on hold 47 minutes when reception finally answered. I explained the hold situation for two days. This is her reply "Im the only one answering the phone, how can I help you". No apology, zero bedside manner. Your scheduler/receptionist has terrible customer service skills. Being a hiring manager myself, I understand in today's climate good help is hard to find, it's a shallow pool. I would suggest maybe looking for a backup or replacing this one all together. Or, remove your wait message about your patient's time being very important to you - this is obviously not the case and I wanted to come through the phone after hearing it for the 35th time while waiting on hold! Unfortunately, he prefers not to waste his time on patients in their nineties.

The most useless office and "medical professionals". It took over 9 months and numerous calls to even get lab and images results reviewed. It has been well over a year since the first visit and still no diagnosis or resolution. After being told a out of pocket price they billed something completely different and then continued to rebill the incorrect amount when it was brought to their attention not once, not twice, but FOUR TIMES. I still don't have the results for other lab and imaging results but honestly do not waste your time with this bunch. Find a real neurologist and better office personnel altogether. Dr. Anand did not seem to listen to my concerns regarding my migraines and headaches and the appointment felt very rushed. He just threw medication at me instead that didn't fix the problem, and his office won't let me change providers now.

Dr. Anand is an outstanding neurologist. He is thorough and compassionate. His nurse and staff are kind and very caring.

Referred to Dr Anand b/c my neurologist of 5 years retired. Scheduling as a new patient was easy! Dr Anand & his resident took plenty of time to review my history & even scanned my patient records from my retired neuro into the Wellstar portal! I was able to establish a new relationship w/Dr Anand for pain mgt related to chronic cervical stenosis, headaches & a Morton’s neuroma. We scheduled our f/u appt & I can communicate w/Dr Anand thru MyChart, if needed! I would recommend Dr Anand & his team at Wellstar. Referred to Dr Anand b/c my neurologist of 5 years retired. Dr Anand is an amazing doctor. He has amazing table side manner. He is kind and understanding. He knows my migraine situation and sympathizes and has cured it. He and his staff work Diligently get me scheduled and my refills done quickly. I would see no other doctor. I have been a patient over three years. I have had almost no migraines. Botox was recommended his staff and he worked hard to get me a prior authorization. They got that authorization. Lastly, I am and have been amazingly pleased with my health care with my doctor and Well Star. I suffer from Leukemia; they are very supportive medically and emotionally. I am great full. Great doctor

He's an excellent Doctor. Very kind with my husband.

I saw Dr. Anand in the new headache office and was in to see him before I could finish filling out my update sheet.

Very skilled and provide an environment that shows he understand the complex issues that causes my chronic pain and discomfort. Being able to share all the medical concerns provides me with contentment that Dr. Anand knows the complex medical issues I face.

Dr. Anand is fantastic. I see him for migraines and he is so thorough and knowledgeable. His is the first doctor to really figure out my migraines and how to prevent and treat them. He spends a lot of time with patients and answers all your questions. I highly recommend him!

Excellent medical care! Friendly & professional staff. Didnt feel rushed, Dr. Anand listened carefully and explained everything very well. He had reviewed my chart prior to my appointment as a new patient, so he was well prepared!

As the caretaker for my 87 year old mother with cognitive changes, I took my time, to find the right doctor for her. Dr Anand came highly recommended by a long term existing patient of his. Dr. Anand is the type of doctor who just wants to give you a prescription and send you on your way without much explanation. I was late for an appointment, because of his front desk, so my appointment may have been a bit rushed, but I didn't get the sense that he cared about my issues very much. His office cancelled my follow-up appointment a week out and then told me they can't get me in now for 3 months.

I loved Dr. Anand, but his office and nurse are impossible to deal with. When it comes down to getting medicine refills, you will not be able to get hold of anyone. I've had my insurance company calling for me and all you will get is voicemails. I am going without medication and cannot get a follow up appointment. The one I had, they changed on me and they wouldn't reschedule. I tried to get the doctor and a manager to contact me and no one will pass on the info. It's a very frustrating office to deal with.

If I could give this guy a zero I would. I went there after referral from the clinic. Dr. Anand wouldn't even bother seeing me in his office. Instead he spoke to me in the hallway. Very unprofessional. I have no insurance and I had to pay 175 out of pocket for him to tell me I have a concussion and I need a shot. He didn't discuss with me the issue why he thought any of this. He didn't even bother looking at the MRI I took or explain anything to me. He was very rude and very unprofessional. I wouldn't recommend anyone to see this guy. In addition I waited for this appointment for three months and I'm still less informed about my condition than before and short on 175$ that I work hard to earn. I have bern seeing Dr. Anand for almost a year. I find him personable, professional and knowledgeable. He is a good listener and is willing to work with you.

Totally one of the best doctors I have seen for many reasons. First, they actually did not have me wait. I arrived early and was seen early, totally unheard of. Second, he was very knowledgeable, relatable, and extremely helpful. His approach makes perfect sense and he sincerely cares; looking at the patient as if he were treating a family member. Dr Anand has been my daughter's neurologist for over a decade during a time when seizures were a normal thing to being without them for the past 5+ yrs. We highly recommend him for any neurological problem one may be dealing with. His staff is wonderful to work with, also.
