Dr Guimaraes figured out the cause of my pain, that had been misdiagnosed twice previously, on my first visit. He had me scheduled for a hysterectomy immediately and I was back on my feet 5 weeks later. He is the most caring, informative Dr. I have ever been to. I would trust him with anyone in my family.

The most wonderful doctor I have ever had. Makes you feel so comfortable. He is very reassuring. I went through my first pregnancy with a whole lot of questions with him. I was satisfied with every visit.

Doctor Guimareas and his staff are truly amazing. I have other options as far as OBGYN's that are much closer but I am willing to drive an hour to go to him. ( Maybe that doesn't express how much I love his office ) ... He is also out of my network with insurance and I have to pay cash to go to him and I do. I've been a patient for more than 20 years and delivered all four children (plus one miscarriage) under his care while living more than 40 minutes away. I now live over an hour away, many states away too as my job is in Vermont, and would never think about changing doctors. Dr. Guimaraes is the kindest and has excellent bedside manners. He listens to what I have to say and believes me when I explain how my body is feeling. Dr Guimaraes is an AMAZING doctor. Not only is he extremely knowledgeable, he is also very well mannered and makes you feel comfortable in any situation. He will sit down with you and address any concerns with you without making you feel dumb. He will break things down so you understand step by step. During my first pregnancy, he ultimately saved my life as I didn't know I had toxemia. We had to do an emergency c-section and the whole process he made me feel confident that everything would be alright. I delivered my second child January of this year (11 years apart between my children) and again, every step of the process was explained as if it was my first. he will forever be my OBGYN. Been with this guy from the beginning of needing a ‘lady dr’...twenty some years now. Excellent doctor! Caring, listens well, gentle, and easy to get along with. Would not ever change to another doctor. Would (and have) highly recommend!

Seriously best doctor you will ever encounter hands down ! You will not leave his office feeling anything but a queen ! Highly recommend him !

Dr. G is truly a one-of-a-kind doctor. He is genuinely caring, very knowledgeable, and makes time for your needs and questions. Best in the practice!
