I have visited Dr Lam for over 10 years. He is friendly and considerate and thoughtful for the concerns and health of the patient. Explains things soni can understand him.

I really liked the doctor and how he explained everything I needed to know!

I felt the phone/video consult was as good as an in person appointment. I would do it again. I was comfortable with Dr Lam and felt my issue was appropriately addressed.

Dr Lam was thorough in his virtual assessment and took time to explain the procedure to be done and the process to prepare before such procedure. Good rapport.

After several phone calls to the office a couple of weeks later I finally received a reply and thought I would be having a Zoom call via computer with Dr. Lam. When the time came for the call, I was informed that it could only be done via my mobile number, which I do not use for this purpose. Fortunately, Dr. Lam was reaching out via my landline and tough it was not my preferred method of communication with him, he did take the time to listen to my concerns and give some recommendations. At this point I am awaiting to hear from his office to hopefully move forward with scheduling a colonoscopy. Dr. Lam had done my previous colonoscopy and I was very satisfied with the procedure. Guess I'm just old school but really prefer to meet face to face with my physicians. A video visit with Dr. Lam was the perfect pre-colonoscopy appointment. No need to commute or wait. Dr. Lam listens and takes his time to address my concerns. He carefully explains what to do and what to expect. Also, Dr. Lam is knowledgeable about his subject matter. I recommend this doctor.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Lam for years. In 2013 he saved my life by referring me out to a surgeon about my stomach. I have had practically no problems since. Thank you again Dr. Lam.

Very thorough and answered all questions!

Staff is either incompetent or very in need of additional help. Two times on hold over 30 mins. I had a telemed appointment and was given no information prior to the appointment. I called 15 mins prior to appointment and was redirected to message system. I left a message. No return and called back every 5 mins until I was 20 mins after my appointment. I called again and was put on hold 25 mins. When I finally was able to speak to a live person, it was an hour and 10 mins after the scheduled telemed with the Dr. I discussed this with receptionist and mentioned she should ask for additional staffing. Okay so Dr Patrick and Dr Amy were great in the beginning. I was referred and was seen within 2 weeks. Had a procedure done in February. Amy did follow up calls and was very outgoing. Then I was supposed to get a ultrasound done. They never sent the fax for me to do it. Waited and waited. Until I ask my Primary Dr to send me to take ultrasound. Had results fax to Dr Patrick. He then refer me to take another test because I’ve been in pain since February and it was getting worst. So I took HIDA test on a Wednesday in June. Was told I should hear from Dr by the end of week. No phone call, no text , no message. So I call because at this point I feel like something is serious wrong. I really don’t wNt to go to hospital. When I have a Dr that specializes in this field. So I kept calling for about a week to speak or talk to any of the drs about the result. Was told I can only leave a message. And just wait for a response. I ask to schedule a appointment was denied. Cause they were book for the next 2 months. I later called back because my primary dr got my results and said I needed surgery ASAP. try to called and talk to Dr lam. Was told by rude, clueless receptionist. That he is fully aware that I need surgery. But at this point he’s too busy to return a call or schedule me appointment or send me to a neurosurgeon. So I was like so what do I do. My gallbladder is at 0% plus they found other stuff wrong with me. I couldn’t hold food or liquid down. Receptionist flat out and told me it would be in my best interest to find another dr. So I was in shock. And ask if they can refer one to me. She put me on hold. Can back and said I need my primary dr to refer me. Told my primary and she jump and got me a neurosurgeon, a gastroenterologist that saw me the next day and having surgery this week. It’s just a sad case you put time, trust, and money in a Dr. hoping they have your best interest. To later be treated like your life is not important. I thank Dr Lam for being a caring Gastro physician. He tells you what you need to hear not what you like to hear. Honesty is is his best policy! ???? ????????????????

The doctors here are amazing and listen to you. I was very happy and have been with them in office and through procedures. I’d rate the drs a 5 for sure ! You will just have to be very on top of staff. I did see reviews and should have known the staff was going to be a challenge. It’s a shame that their office staff can not respond to calls and or return messages. I’ve had to call in for results, asked to get refills and they can’t be reached, and I do not get calls back. This office needs to be open more if they can not follow through with its patients. The doctors here are amazing and listen to you. I have been going to Dr Lam for many years and find him to be a thoughtful and caring and knowledgeable Dr. Would highly recommend.

Overall, great experience! He's very knowledgeable knowing that he's been in strictly GI for 16 years! His staff is very friendly and nice, his MA's are great. Honestly, just a great provider and I would highly recommend him.

HE IS AN AMAZING PROVIDER, HE LISTENS, CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS WELL BEING I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS GI.

I wish I could review an experience I had with Dr. Lam but due to the incredible inefficiency and unprofessionalism of his office staff at G.I. Consultants I was never able to get an appointment with Dr. Lam. My new G.I. doctor had to request a release of medical records and blood work from them 3 times and still they claimed they never received a request. Trying to receive medical help at G.I. Consultants was a nightmare.

Dr. Lam is very courteous, knowledgeable and friendly. His staff is nice. I would recommend him to anyone who needs GI treatment.

Very professional and caring doctor. He took time and listened with his patient.I am highly recommended to the new patients.

I personally had an awesome experience with Dr. Lam He was professional and took notes. He asked me questions about my symptoms and you could tell he truly wanted to help. He was thorough and gave me possibilities and made a plan of where we were going to start which was with the endoscopy and colonoscopy. The day of procedures his team was awesome and he was thorough. Thanks to him a large polyp that was turning cancerous was caught. Dr. Lam treated me above all with respect and concern. It was really nice to have a doctor show they are human . I would recommend Dr. Lam but people need to realize you get what you give in attitude or behavior Dr. Or not treat live beings with respect and humor!!!!!!! He was very rude and trying to guess what was going on. Put me on 4 different prescriptions nothing has help.
