I needed a total hip replacement and did my research. I decided I wanted the anterior method. Many people in our area drive 2 hours away to another doctor, but I wanted to be close to home. I heard about Dr. Meier and heard nothing but good things about him as a surgeon. I had my left total hip replacement on June 19th. I was home on June 20th. I took a walk around the block on June 24th. I was taking two mile walks 9 days later. Everything was perfect. His team cannot be beat. He is a pro at what he does. My husband had been having trouble with his shoulder. They got him in within a week of my call. (We we’re out of the country.) Staff was courteous and helpful. Dr. Meier was knowledgeable. Kathy gave the cortisone shot and he didn’t even feel it. Great experience!

I had a total hip replacement in June 2018, home the next day, walked around the block 4 days later, and walked 2 miles a day 8 days after that. I have no pain in my hip at all. I had little to no pain from the operation. My incision is barely visible as they use the 'glue' and not sutures or staples. His team cannot be beat. I have nothing but good things to say about his expertise. You won't get to talk to him, but he has team that will take very good care of you and answer your questions.
