Always professional they do a great job

Very detailed and have never waited more than ten minutes pass my appointment time

Dr Shetty and his staff are wonderful. My son's medication was too expensive and Dr Shetty researched the meds covered by our insurance to find a substitute. Awesome! Thanks for excellent service.

I waited 6 months for my appointment, as a returning patient. I took the morning off work to accommodate the appt. I got there at my appointment time and after giving my name I was asked by a woman behind a computer, sitting sideways in the greet window, if I had obtained my referral for todays visit. I explained I was a returning patient, and she said yes, but my referral had expired in March. She told me it was MY responsibility to keep on top of that referral. I am #1 a stroke survivor. #2 I have many "ologists" lol, and this staff is the ONLY office that expects me to know when the referral for payment to their office expires. I waited 6 months for my appointment, as a returning patient. I took the morning off work to accommodate the appt. I got there at my appointment time and after giving my name I was asked by a woman behind a computer, sitting sideways in the greet window, if I had obtained my referral for todays visit. I haven't met the doctor yet, but his office staff is wonderful!

I have lost confidence in this practice. First saw him 7/2/21 for diagnosis and treatment of asthma. We have yet to land on a proper medication because you have to wait to long for an appointment. On December 10 he said I should start on Faserma, and I am still waiting for that to start because of miscommunication in the office. He may be an excellent physician, if so someone is dropping the ball. I would not be comfortable recommending him to anyone.

It was difficult to get an appointment with Dr Shetty, but with Covid, it was understandable and my issue was not an emergency. Today I had an appointment with Candace, Dr. Shetty’s PA. This visit was my initial visit and I couldn’t have been more satisfied. I was impressed with the office staff as they were very friendly, professional and helpful. I was taken to the examining room on time and Candace came in almost immediately. I liked her friendliness, I did not feel rushed at all, and she explained my diagnosis thoroughly. I am very surprised by previous negative reviews, as it was not was I experienced at all. I highly recommend this practice.

The office staff is absolutely horrible! They have sent me out to two different referrals, one didn't take my insurance. You would think they would know that before sending you to another Doctor. The other referral, the doctor was not taking new patients. They don't seem to have a very good idea on anything. They send out the paperwork without doing their homework. Then when you tell them this they want you to find the doctors! Dealing with one office staff when taking my weight, she was taking so long to read the weight scale that I told her if she wanted to know that I weighed myself that morning. I got off the scale and when she turned her back from me she blurted out that I was wrong according to the scale. Then when I was in doing a breathing test I asked her what it was measuring, she said she didn't know how to read the test just knows how to give it! They don't care about the service that give you. Its always excuses when you call up! Dr. Shetty is okay.

Super poor experience so far. Dr Shetty seemed professional enough when I got to see him but he didnt follow through with what he said he was going to do. My issue is more so with the office staff. He has two locations he goes between and neither location knows whats going on with the other and they really cannot be bothered to make any effort or care. I had sent the FMLA paperwork needed for my job which is very time sensitive. The first time I sent it the person I spoke with said they had gotten everything and would be taken care of. Next time I called in there was nothing left in my file, no documentations and no idea what was needed so had to resend. Confirmed they had gotten everything on 12.2 , called and spoke with someone on 12.7 that everything "should" have been done and sent. Just got a call on 12.9 from someone stating that yes the paperwork had been filled out but now I need to pay $25 for them to send it. Thank you very much for letting me know a week later that it had been just sitting there, thank you for NOT letting me know there is a $25 we can charge you just cuz fee and thank you for waiting till a week later to even contact me about it. This paperwork is super time sensitive and very upset about this whole ordeal. Definitely DO NOT recommend Dr Shetty just due to complications his staff causes and will be looking for another doctor asap Super poor experience so far. I have seen Dr. Shetty for years. Great people!

He may be a great MD but as a new patient I am concerned when no one in his office can reach him NEW Review 1 + year now Now that he has a permanent Location in new Braunfels Everything seems to be going smoother. Dr. Shetty is a wonderful doctor. He identified health issues for me that a ten day hospital stay hadn't. Compassionate and responsive. His staff has helped me with medical equipment issues. Highly recommend.

I have been a patient at Lung Docs for over a year. I love the doctors but the office staff is absolutely wretched. I have an autoimmune disease and my rheumatologist felt that I may have pleurisy due to my symptoms. I decided to call in and make sure that my pulmonologist PA Candace knew what was going on and to hear how I should handle it. I called on Wednesday morning. I spoke with one woman who inadvertently hung up on me, so I called back and spoke with an immensely rude woman who took my information. She told me that I would be charged as a normal visit and that Candace would call me later that afternoon as a sick call. I waited and the call never came. Meanwhile my pain was intensifying and I was struggling as to whether or not to go to the ER. I wait through Thursday as well, thinking that they must be busy with Covid and all. Good doctor if you ever get to see him. Too busy. Saw his PA and I was impressed at first but suppose to call in prescriptions for me I have called for a week and received nothing!! When it comes to trying to breathe you would think they would be concerned!!

After 4 years had to switch fromHMO to PPO to save my husband’s life! No clue 4 hours at the Methodist CO2 levels 87 took 4 hours

Dr. Shetty is great. The problem I have is the office people. I still can't get my prescription filled from December and they can't be bothered with it so I had to get my primary care doctor to rewrite the prescription. I was there again Tuesday and they were supposed to be giving me two prescriptions. Only one was sent in but to the wrong pharmacy and 3 days later I am still waiting on a response from my call, message and email. I will update this if things improve but not returning patients calls and not following up to make sure the patient gets their prescriptions is unacceptable. Dr. Shetty is great. I would highly recommend this doctor however I would never send someone to that office to work with that staff. The office manager Julie treated me worse than the others. NO one should have to endure the rudeness and being left on hold while they went to lunch when a person is so sick. There is no excuse for what happened and the only thing I got from the office manager was to say I was lying. Dr Shetty is much too good of a doctor to be represented by a person such as she.

Dr. Shetty has been my pulmonologist in Kyle since my transplant in 2015. He is excellent.

If not for Dr. Shetty, my mother would have died 2 years ago. He is a life saver.

He is the best of the best! A brilliant Doctor! I love how caring he is an concerned about his patients! I am so proud to know him!And he saved my life on 2015 a long with the great team at Seton Hays Hospital here in Kyle !They are the best!

A pretty good pulmonary specialist- he listens and always has a kind demeanor. I will say he always seems a bit rushed but I have emproved by leaps and bounds since moving to him. Put it this way: I travel over an hour to see him and I went through the trouble of arranging transportation through my insurance ( which was no small feat) when he got me into pulmonary rehab at Seaton Hay's. I was very attached to my previous lung doctor so to be even more pleased by this one is surprising. Even the staff is sweet, caring, attentive, and competent. Win! I am an RN with 10 years of experience. This is an incredible doctor - extremely professional and thorough. He spent a lot of time reviewing and explaining test results with me. He left no stone unturned in diagnosing my condition. I felt great confidence in entrusting my care with him. I would highly recommend this physician.

Dr. Shetty was very helpful, professional with a very understanding bedside manner. The staff at the office were very friendly, informative and more than happy to answer any questions I had.
