I wanted to find a new cardiologist since I was overdue for a cardiac appointment and check up. I was recommended to Dr. Richard McCurdy and it was the best choice I have ever made in chosing a physician. He was so kind, caring, and understanding which I find to be so important and helpful especially when you're very anxious. He was thorough and so easy to talk to as well as earned my trust on my first visit.

The doctor is fine! But whoever the medical assistant Nicole is! Called and threatened me for not returning a halter monitor when I did return it to the springfield office. Stating she was going to report me for stolen equipment. It wasn’t cool. When I called back n they actually checked, of course they found it. Threats without even checking. Educate your staff. If you’d like a copy of the voicemail for education purposes. Please ask.

Dr McCurdy, Jr, is very caring and knowledgable. He explains things so you can understand them, and makes sure you get the best care from his staff. He also gives you plenty of time, so you do not feel rushedm......

I have been lucky to find several good doctors that do care for their patients. When you find a good doctor, it is not unusual to have some wait time since the word gets around and everyone wants to see him. The Doctor and his office have invested a lot of time and money in technology, and I feel that is truely a benefit to me as a patient. I like the Doctor, and his staff has always been very kind and considerate to me and others. It is because of doctors like him that people get to live as well and as long as they do. I look forward to many more years of being treated by him. P.S. He is also a dedicated Phillies Fan.
