Dr. William M O'Connor

I had an appointment scheduled for 11:45am for my aunt. We sat in the waiting room for and hour and 15 minutes. I went to the staff and asked how long and they told me that Dr. O'Connor is always running behind on his appointments. I said that if he is always running behind why do you schedule appointments so close to each other. No answer. In my opinion it's to get as many appointments set for the day to bill the insurance company. Maybe if he knows he always runs behind, maybe schedule appointments further apart. An intelligent thought right? Anyway I do not recommend anyone wasting their time going to Dr. O'Conner's office. Between the wasted time in the office and my drive time, it's 2 hours. I will be billing him for my time.

Excellent doctor relieved my Neuropathy on 1st visit, highly recommend.

I have been trying to get Dr. Oconner to call my wife's GI Dr since Monday of this week. I left serval messages as my wife is in major stomach pain the GI Dr want to ask Dr Oconner her neurologist a simple question before he changed one of her medications DR. Oconner never called him to date. all the while She is sitting in pain because she could not take the one med because she had a seizure on it and has not slept in 4 days. I explained this to the secretary all 4 times I called his office and she said she would relay the messages. Yet he never called her GI to date . Its like he just does not care or is too bothered to take a phone call. I will calling the center for neuro science Monday to complain directly to his boss Dr David A Thomas. If I had this lack of compassion or service in my job I would have been fired by now.

I've been to see dr. O'Connor 3 times now and have tried to give him the benefit of the doubt. I've had the first appointment in the am because I work but have been made to wait 1 hour and then 1.5 hours for the appointments. What I didn't appreciate, is that at the end of the appointment, he thanks me for being patient. However why do they schedule the appointments so tight if they know he's always behind? The 1 hour wait was as he was getting his coffee, he forgot his mask (they work in a hospital come on) and the 1.5 hour wait, he said he didn't see me in the waiting room but I was there the whole time. After waiting 1.5 hours, he then told me to wait while he read my report (the reason I was there). His "findings" made very clear he didn't read the report at all ahead of time and his diagnosis was pretty sloppy. Completely unprofessional and I'm done trying to be patient with a dr. who's unorganized and not motivated to take more than 2 patients before noon while not getting their whole history correctly. 2 of the office workers who go through the hallways had no mask on. It's great if they're immunized however the rest of us aren't as lucky. When I complained the office staff did straighten that out which was helpful. Been seeing Dr. OConnor for 8 years. 3 nueros before. Not one with the knowledge or patience he has. Or determination to help figure out the issue and get you feeling better. Do you have to wait? Yes. Is it better then being herded in out of most Drs. Offices,not being heard,knowing they don't care? Absolutely.

Doctor doesn't even apologize for being late for almost 2 hours. Didn't seem to care about my condition, answered his phone twice, yawned and then prescribed me some blood work. I was in is office in less than 5 minutes. To top it off, the receptionist had a lot of attitude. I am not going there again.

Waited an hour to see him for a scheduled appointment. When I asked the receptionist how much longer, she said it would be at least another 30 to 60 minutes and I should reschedule! I asked if this was normal and she said yes, Dr. O'Connor usually runs at least an hour late for his appointments. I will not be back -- expect a bit more patient consideration.

Dr O’Connor is the best. He has been the doctor for four of my family members. We love him.

I want to thank Dr O’Connor and his Nurse Jessica, She was bubbly and personable! She got my mra approved right away and Dr O’Connor was nothing short of amazing! I look forward to my next apt! If you need to see a neurologist this is the group to see! Even the girls at the front were so nice!!!! I am truly grateful!!!

The only way I can describe Dr. O'Connor's office is incompetent. I've been through multiple different doctors trying to find a cause for my symptoms. Called for an appointment and they couldn't get me in for over a month. Fine. I went to the appointment and waited over an hour to be seen. I was told Dr. O'Connor was called down to the ER. Finally saw him and he had no answers for what might be wrong, but ordered a test and a scan anyway. A month later they still hadn't gotten authorization for the scan, but I was able to make an appointment for the test. Except I showed up and was told that the receptionist forgot to hit save when scheduling my appointment so I didn't have one and the doctor wasn't in. Switching neurologists immediately.

I’m blown away that any patient could rate Dr. O’connor below five stars. There’s obviously people out here that aren’t happy no matter what circumstances. Too bad for them that they can’t appreciate a great doctor.

Doesn’t care about his patients

Ive been to 2 Neurologist before Oconnor with most dismissing as making up my symptoms since i was young. I finally found him when i was 16. He was very caring and takes his time with you. He promised he would figure out what was wrong with me and never dismissed me as ve crazy or just another case of fibromayalgea. Now 28 i was diagnosed with psuedotumor ceribri and put on medication to help me with the pain and daily frustrations. You may never get to see him at the actual time of your appointment but thats because he will stay with you as long as you need him to and not rush you out. I am Danuta from PA. O’Connor does not deserve the title of ‘doctor’. Having my MRI report for Head and CD he dismissed me with sinus cyst 11 mm that was 1mm from optic nerve and 1 mm from carotid artery with statement everything okay. I found this myself reviewing a copy of these records. As a patient, run away from him. His concern only business. I have been seeing Dr. O'Connor for years. He is very caring and open minded about treatments. I had a life of daily migraines. They are gone. My quality of life is so much better now.

I accompanied by elderly father to an appointment with Dr. O'Connor. We waited over an hour and a half before we were seen. The office staff was unapologetic and Dr. O'Connor was not apologetic. Dr. O'Connor did not read the chart prior to sitting down with us and was not aware that my father was taking medicine or that there were test results to review. He responded to a text message and yawned multiple times during our visit.

Dr O'Connor does not care about his patients at all. I was in the middle of speaking about symptoms that were frightening me and he answered his phone without so much as a 'excuse me'. He then went on to tell me the symptoms I have do not concern him. Stupid me went back to him for a follow where he looked at my MRI then walked out of the office for 15 minutes to speak to another patient (who was not even his!) only to come back in and break the news that I have a chronic illness.

Dr. O'Connor does not deserve to have the title of 'doctor'. He has zero interest in patient health. My name is Danuta from PA. He dismissed me after consultation having all papers from MRI and CD not reviewing my records at all. In my record I had an 11 mm cyst that was 1 mm from left optic nerve and 1 mm from carotid artery. My suggestion is to run from him. Do not trust this doctor. He has no concern except business. As a patient please share you opinion of doctors on the internet.
