Dr. Rikesh Rajendra Desai

Dr, Desai is my primary care provider. He has cared for me more for more than 11 years. He pays close attention to the effectiveness of my prescriptions and my over all health. I believe he is an excellent physician. .

Every few months I see Dr. Desai as he keeps tabs on my health. He watches my Blood work for various health related issues. He adjusts my meds intake according to my needs.

Listens well. Very friendly. Remembers previous visits and asks about on-going concerns / issues discussed during those visits. Recommends minimum drugs initially but suggests additional or alternative drugs if conditions change or do not improve. When I needed a specialist, each of the specialists he has suggested have been very helpful.

Both Practices are awesome. I can’t tell you how many years it’s been since I’ve trusted a doctor. He is amazing. His staff is outstanding. I’ve never felt rushed or like my questions went unanswered! Clean clean clean too.

I've been going to Dr. Desai for years. I am in excellent health due to him. Had back and leg pain for years and my old doc sent me for rehab! Dr. Desai sent me to the best orthopedic surgeon, had hip replacement surgery and I can walk and stay on my feet for hours. He has recommended the best docs that I know of especially my hematologist which I have heard a lot of patients can't get in to see her, and now I'm going to make an appointment with a new gastroentologoist that he suggested. I'm 72 and healthy because of him. We have discovered I have osteoporosis and he referred me to have the 'shots' taken.

Just terrible. Doesnt seem to care. diagnosed me wrong.. found out when I went tot he specialist. Cant understand his english. mumbles. his staff is worse than him. Just stay away from this entire practice

Dr Desai has been my 97 year old Mother’s Dr for about 18 years. At first he was very quiet but the more we asked questions and talked to him, we found him very cordial. He has been so kind, helpful and caring. He helped getting her set up with Hospice at home and has been extremely helpful getting her set up with the process of assisted living. He has gone above and beyond and has even made “house calls” because she is unable to come to his office. I highly recommend him. He is so compassionate and never had any of the issues that a couple of people who reviewed him had. My mother also has been very happy with Dr Desai and trusts him completely!

Dr. Desai has been the primary care physician for both my wife and myself for quite some time now. We could not be happier. Dr. Desai is attentive when you arrive and most diligent in his approach. We trust him and his staff totally. Very efficient and courteous staff. Highly recommend!! Mr Arthur Farinas

He was good in the beginning. As time went on he kept wanting to prescribe me more meds, pushing to prescribe the more expensive meds, always giving out samples. I always felt rushed through my appointments like I’m just another number. Since the COVID-19 stay home order, Dr Desai did not see me in person, only by telemedicine. Worst experience ever. He would not give direct answers to the CDC stay at home concerns. He wanted me to make decisions for myself. Again being rushed even on the Telemedicine. He told me he had another patient waiting he had to go. His MA was rude as well on the phone and even ruder in person. Her actions of eyeing me from the top to the bottom of how I looked was so demeaning and made me feel less than human. Never experienced such unprofessional attitude. The girls in the front were always nice and very helpful to me. The money I paid into my health was a waste and didn’t make a change in my health.

This guy is a joke! Went in with major ear pain and dizziness, he told me I need to see an ENT and that he thinks it's vertigo. I agree and already figured, but he wasn't going to even look in my ears and then never gave me anything for the pain. He talks over you and always seems to be in a hurry. DO NOT GO!

The worst Dr I have ever seen. Very moody, give impression you are wasting his time and seems to be put out if asked a question. In years of seeing Drs and never being unsatisfied, only changing Dr due to retirement or they moved he is the only one I fired. He doesn't realize he is paid because of the patient.

I have seen Dr Desai 3 times and have found him to be very professional, friendly and always willing to listen. Refers to other specialties promptly when needed.

Dr. Desai and his horrible rude inconsiderate nurse assistant Christine don’t even deserve one star. But no stars was not an option. First Dr. I visited from moving here from San Diego. I saw him 6 1/2 7 weeks ago for a cough from being sick that wouldn’t go away. Got some X-rays which I never got the results for. Called the office Friday 10/20 because my cough is still in full effect. A deep cough in my lungs I can feel it. I’m not sick no symptoms of any type of cold or flu. Just a cough that is now taking my breath away. I got sent home from work was told call your Dr. he knows you have a bad cough they should be able to prescribe you an inhaler to help you. It’s obvious I’m losing air when these cough fits happen. Got Christine on the phone. I told her he saw me weeks ago for this cough and it’s now taking my breath away. I asked her if the dr that was there since Desai was not could prescribe me an inhaler. She said she’d call me back. Which she did left me a message saying. The other Dr. says just go to the ER. So I called her told her I wanted to be seen not go to an ER I know what’s wrong with me I’m losing breath and need help breathing. She was extremely rude cannot even believe she is a nurse with the way she was talking to me. She says you said you were congested with a major attitude. I said no I did not I told you I have no symptoms of being sick. Is it normal for you to have a cough for 7 weeks that is taking your breath away. She again rudely said go to the ER. Never again will I visit that office. I will continue to tell everyone I know about how rude Christine was. The lack of knowledge is amazing to me. Dr. Desai and his assistant Christine are always very professional and friendly. I would recommend DR. Desai and his team to all my family and friends.

I was seen by this doctor once and it was a horible experience. He rushed through my visit. Did not even seem interested in my history then referred me to a different office without even an exam or anything. Not even fit to treat animals.

Not a very good doctor extremely robotic in demeanor, his body language and affect were non existent he has zero charisma. He is very matter of fact, but does not care to listen to his patients. I had to see him because of state achess ins. I was there for an anxiety issue that put in the E.R. But, this dr. First questions both time I saw him was in regards to my heart. when I asked questions on why he treated me this he decided to just kick me out and said he did not want to deal with me. done.
