I had the unfortunate experience of being seen by Dr. Somogyi a few months ago in an Urgent Care setting. He was condescending and rude. He did not perform any tests, order X-rays or swab for infection. His diagnosis was "It's probably -----; take some ibuprofen and go see a specialist." I read medical records for a living. I know very well what he was talking about, and that I do not have that disorder. I was in the middle of asking him a question when he abruptly left the exam room - that was it. I was the only patient there that day. Perhaps he was late for tee-off? I went to urgent care because I was in excruciating pain. It took me five days to get in to a specialist, and the pain just increased exponentially. I had to take sick days from work and was unable to eat. The specialist I saw asked me many questions, examined me carefully and did some tests. I had a severe bacterial infection. It took nearly a month before I started feeling well again.
