Dr. Samanaicker Ranganathan

Stay away from this Primary Care Physician. I was sent to Dr. Ranganathan by the Social Security Administration for a General Medical, Spine, Lumber X-ray, A/P&L Evaluation appointment several months ago. The doctor would ask questions to confuse me and disregarded the answers that I would give him. For example, instead of asking, "Do you have any trouble with doing tasks around the house?" He would ask "You don't have trouble doing tasks around the house, right?" Inferring the answer before one was give to him. He completely steamrolled me throughout the entire appointment and I could not get a word in edgewise. Coming to his own conclusions without any care of my health issues and concerns!!! But, of course, he is going to be on the side of Social Security when they are the ones lining his pockets. If you are going to trust a provider like that, go for it, but I would stay far away from Dr. Ranganathan and search for a better (and TRUE) Primary Care Physician elsewhere!

I had a great experience with this doctor and staff. They were all very pleasant and knowledgeable. I would recommend this practice to anyone in need of a doctor. It's very hard these days to find a doctor with five stars!!

Kind and considerate nurse and x-ray tech. They were extremely helpful when I had mobility issue.

It seemed he already had his mind made about my diagnosis. He went through the motions of an actual evaluation with no intention of seeking the truth or my thoughts on the situation. I found him to be short, condescending, and uninterested. At one point I did not turn my head fast enough for him so he struck my jaw and pushed my head to the side. He would ask me a question about my condition then if I was not sure of the answer he would say I have the info right here, as if he was simply trying to embarrass me and/ or catch me in a lie. One of my symptoms is memory problems which he knew. I was required to go to this man by Social Security. He is obviously loyal to them and disproving patients needs for disability. I was admitted to Florida Hospital Altamonte and the doctor was assigned to me. He took such good care of me and I have chosen him as my PCP.

Dr. Ranganathan and staff are wonderful and knowledge. They have always taken care of me and have my best interests at heart
