Highly recommend Lake Eye and Dr Wehrly and all the staff. Cataract Surgery went exceptionally well with no complications.

I had something in my eye. I called up Lake Eye Care the first time but Dr. Weheyl was unavailable, so I was directed to another Ophthalmologist. She examined my eyes and prescribed some eye drops. I went back to see her a few days later. My eye was better but it still felt like there was something it it and I told her so. She said that she saw nothing and to keep putting in the drops. The next morning I could not open my eye. I called Lake Eye care again and insisted on seeing Dr. Wehrly. The "made room" for me late morning. When I saw Dr Wehrly, he said he saw something and flushed out my eye. Prescribed different drops. Within 2 days my eyes were back to normal. I highly recommend Dr. Wehrly.

Everyone was timely, kind and professional.

The initial work up with the tech was comprehensive and efficient The wait time was minimal Dr Wehrly was professional as well as friendly and supportive

Great doctor, no problem with the surgery and I would recommend to anyone who needs cataract surgery.

Went to Dr. Wehrly a few years ago for what I thought would be routine laser cataract surgery. I had excellent results for a couple of months,but then my vision in one eye was getting blurry. I even paid thousands extra for a special lens for perfect distance vision.I went back to see Wehrly a few more times over the next several months as the blurry vision was getting worse. He said the eye looks normal and that I'm over the "WOW" factor. Fast forward a couple of years as he was too busy to see me when I called for an emergency visit, I am now under the care of a Retina Specialist. After the first visit I was told to go back to Wehrly and have him remove the membrane on my retina. I did go back to Dr. Wehrly and he did laser the membrane, but the damage was already done. In the last 2 years I have had 15 eye exams and been diagnosed(see title). The specialist has tried injections, the only other option is surgery,my one eye is still very blurry. I have excellent health otherwise.

The office staff is very effcient, and friendly. The wait time was minimal- maybe 5 minutes. Dr. Wehrly was, as always friendly and informative.

Such a wonderful caring doctor. Dr Wehrly saved my sight in my right eye. He found I had a partially detached retina and personally called Florida Retina Associates. Florida retina was waiting for me examined me and I had surgery the next day…

Follow up visit from cataract surgery. Great doctor, friendly, excellent surgeon, all you could ask for in a physician.

You will be in great hands when you select Dr. Wehrly as your ophthalmologist. His bedside manner coupled with his expertise and experience is a winning combination.

Dr. Wehrly is my HERO !!! I retired after 40 yrs as a graphic artist and had grown increasing irritated at needing to have a pair of reading glasses in every room of the house - especially since wearing glasses tend to give me headaches due to sinus issues. After discussing the different lenses with Dr. Wehrly we decided the multi-focal lens would be a good choice for me. Surgery went without a hitch and now I have my eyes back ! Nice to find out my cat really is "white" and not dirty yellow !

Dr Wehrly is thorough. He is caring and takes the time to make the patient comfortable He explains things in terms that a lay person can unederstand Not only is he a great doctor and surgeon but, he is generous.

Dr. Wehrly is a out standing eye doctor but i question his staff i asked to see the doctor today but was asked several times what the problem was i i repeated what the problem was not once but several times over and over again got no place they even hung up on me

Dr Wehrly is very personable, did my cataracts and all went perfect. The Office is very efficient, many many employees, all were great, like an assembly line. Wait times are minimal.

Dr. Wehrly has impressive credentials and is very friendly and down-to-earth. He is also very professional and his staff is informed and friendly. My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Wehrly for the past 3 year since we moved to Florida. He has done 1 cataract removal for my husband and 2 for me.
