I saw Dr Buchanan just one day after my first PT appointment. I injured myself at work and was being treated for Medial/lateral epicondylitis. She never assessed my arm nor reviewed PT notes. She changed my restrictions without discussing her plans. I ended up seeing her twice in one day because I had to fight for my rights as my own advocate for poor medical treatment and falsely documenting improvement in condition. I reported her to my workers comp carrier.

My husband saw Dr. Buchanan for an injury sustained at work. After 2 weeks she released him to full duty without restrictions...even though he explained that he was still having pain, could not run, and no lateral movement. He returned to work as ordered, and his supervisor immediately recognized his pain. An orthopedist confirmed he should not work, and had been given incorrect treatment and medication.
