Pulled an abscessed back tooth. No long wait. Shots in gums, in and out quickly with very little pain.

I was sent to Dr. Fairburn by an ER doctor to have an abscess drained. My face was horribly swollen and I was in the worst pain I had ever been in. I expected to have to wait for awhile since I was a walk-in, but they got me back in less than 30 min and Dr. Fairburn was excellent. The abscessed tooth was removed right then and there. He believed me when I told him how much pain I was in and didn’t treat me like I was a drug seeker like so many doctors in this city do.

I will never be a patient at this office by choice. While waiting on a friend of mine a few weeks ago to have a procedure done, I could hear the "office manager" (I inquired) gossiping to an employee about another employee and making fun of one of the doctors. Really? Your going to make fun of a guy that signs your paychecks? Your boss? This reflected very poorly on this office. I'd rather drive to Birmingham.

I swoll so bad after surgery anf was infected the day after surgery. Had to go to the ER and get all differnt meds.
