Dr Goldfarb has great bed side matter, he takes is time to answer your questions. All the persons that work are very nice and helpful.

Very professional, caring , informative I was not able to walk because of my right knee condition. Today I am feeling great and very spry. Thanks to Dr. Goldfarb.

Excellent and very busy surgeon. I wish he was more informative during post op visit regarding progress. Also, I apparently had the option to provide my own air cast boot post op, but was never informed of this. I blame this lack of information on the staff and pre-op education. Also, the patient check in process can be excruciatingly slow. Even when you've already checked in online, you must still wait behind others who have not. Not sure how to streamline the process.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Goldfarb’s for two hip replacements and now a knee problem. I give an excellent review for Dr Goldfarb and his staff.

This is the second full hip replacement that Dr Goldfarb did on me. I had left hip done in 2015 and right hip completed in March 2023. Dr Goldfarb's techniques have worked well on both surgeries and my wife, daughter and sister-in-law have used his services with excellent results.

I was reluctant to schedule an appointment after seeing the negative reviews, however, I was in the market for a competent knee surgeon not a new best friend. Dr. Goldfarb exceeded my expectations. I wanted to discuss a knee replacement, he was attentive, concerned, informative and answered all of my questions. I would highly recommend him..

The doctor was informative, friendly, and showed and overall concern for my knee condition. The staff was also courtesy, efficient, and helpful.

I was referred by Arrowsprings Hospital with a broken bone in my foot. This was my first visit and I was very pleased. Staff was very helpful and friendly,. nurse was also and went out of her way to be sure I understood what was going to be done and that I was comfortable. I was in and out in less than an hour. Mason location is in a good place, easy to find and get into and out of. Thanks to all!!

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Goldfarb treating me in my surgery. He was thorough in explaining to me what I would be going through and the outcome. I would refer him to family and friends when an orthopedic surgeon is needed.

Dr. Goldfarb saved my life, repairing my earlier hip replacement that failed and left me with two large hematomas with infection and metallosis. I am eternally indebted to him. He is my favorite doctor among the many I have known, mostly because of his down-to-earth manner, his full disclosure no sugar coat honesty, and clear dedication to his patients. Saw Dr. Steven Goldfarb about a hip problem. He took x-rays and I did indeed need a hip replacement. He did the surgery and I am very happy with him and his work. He answered all my questions and I had no problems. I would highly recommend him. I am 75 years old and I was up and walking the same day as surgery. At home we have stairs and I had no problem going up and down the stairs.

She greeted everyone as the stepped through the door, rechecked on those in the waiting room to make sure they were not waiting too long and helped setup the follow up appointments promptly. I am very satisfied with the care and results of my total knee replacement by Dr. Goldfarb.

Dr. Goldfarb is one of the best doctors I have ever been seen. He explains the procedures I needed to have done, listened to any questions I had, and answered them in detail that I could understand. Highly recommended.

The initial meeting with Doctor Golfarb was about 15 mins, he took time to tell me everything about my surgery the do's and dont's. He then talked about the scheduling and my physical condition he would like to see me in. Surgery was 3 months out, so when I finally got there he talked to me briefly and said we will have you up and moving soon, to my surprise I walked out of the hospital probably 5 hours after I got the and was walking around my home immediately, very great experience, I think he done a tremendous job on me and would like to thank him. I will say ..as the comments indicate he is not a “warm and fuzzy”type however I will say I went to his office in March and he quickly diagnosed a very serious infection in my hip from a hip replacement that was performed 13 years prior .He performed emergency surgery the next day and replaced the femoral ball .His quick actions perhaps saved my life .No we will never go for beers or exchange recipes however he gets it done.He will tell you things you don’t want to hear.but that’s his job .

He needs a dose of bed-side manners. There are ways to say things to people without belittling them and making them feel like crap on the bottom of your shoe. I've never been talked to so rudely in my life. He just said he's blunt, well I guess so! When you are overweight, you know it. I did not need to be humiliated and told again and again that my size is my whole issue. It is not! However, you had no interest in anything I had to say and talked over me constantly. Please be wary if you are a "large" person, and find someone else to see. The xray lady was amazing and his nurse was nice too. They get much higher star ratings!

Awful. Goldfarb does not listen at all. Constantly talks over patients, has little personal skills and does not seem to understand that listening is a critical and key component to diagnostics. Seems to prefer washing his hands of issues instead of solving them. My husband has had pain from surgery for many months longer than he should after surgery and is regressing. Goldfarb does not care. Just wants to be done with him. I would never recommend him. Horrible.

Dr. GOLDFARB is VERY caring & concerned about his patients health. He is excellent & anyone who becomes one of his patients should feel rest assured they are in good hands.

He was absolutely rude as soon as he walked in the door. He didn’t even let me tell him what was wrong or why I was there. He told me that there was nothing wrong and there’s nothing he can do. And that the other doctors Had no idea what they were talking about. I do not recommend him at all

Bad surgery. Left my wife a cripple for life. More than one inch longer leg during hip replacement. Ignored pre diagnosis of leg clot resulting of near death. Disclaimed any responsibility over and over again. Stay away!!

Listen Goldfarb haters. This doctor may not have a good bedside manner but he knows his stuff. You may think he is rude and cocky-but this guy knows his stuff. He is confident and yes caring. He came in on his scheduled off holiday weekend to do my surgery. I dont know about you but he is the man I want doing my knees. I can take his personality issues for the short time I'm with him. Bottom line... Goldfarb is the man. I wouldn't have anyone else.

A TOTAL WASTE OF TIME SEEING GOLDFARB. I am a senior citizen with serious hip pain. His answer, get an Ultra Sound guided cortisone shot. He couldn’t give me the shot. Was very abrupt & insulting. Left the office with a three week appointmet for the shot ( 1st available). Definitely feel worse than when I went because I got no real answers or help. No explanation about my x-ray - nothing. Never see him again. Am so sorry I chose this Doctor

His bedside manner is horrible. He ignores your questions is dismissive of your concerns. He talks at you not to you and will excuse all of it by saying he is "blunt." He is rude. A doctor should answer your questions not dismiss them. Will be getting a second opinion and will not be going back to him!!! Also I had to give a 1 star it wouldn't let me leave it blank, but I would actually give him a 0!

I have recommended him to others. Dr. Goldfarb was knowledgeable, caring, direct, thorough and helpful in all aspects of his care - from pre-op to op to post-op; we thought he was great.

Whilst visiting the Mason Trihealth Sports Med in regards to other issues, I scheduled an appointment on 1/4/19 with Goldfarb on my way out. The total time he spent with me was five mins. Diagnosis? Either a torn Meniscus or a partial tare to my MCL. After him talking me out of an MRI, his response to a work note was, "Lebron James tore his and played the entire second half..." Lebron also has thousands to pump steroids and painkillers. I won't speak of how you personally ref yourself...

I had a knee replacement on Halloween 2016. The visiting nurse thought I had an infection so suggested to call him. I did and he was not accessible. The visiting nurse said go to ER. They admitted me and when Goldfarb came back in town he kind of took it out on me since it wasn’t infection according to him I should never have been there. Other than feeling like he took that out on me, I would recommend him for sure. Just expect him to be straightforward

Two weeks after surgery my hip replacement was a disaster. It dislocated four times resulting in svere pain and several emergency runs to the hospital. I ended up in a leg brace from ankle to hip. I went to another orthpedic dr. in Cincinnati who reviewed my case, took xrays, etc. I was scheduled for a revision surgery. My hip went out the fifh time right before surgery. Dr. Goldfarb had used the wrong size ball and socket as well as the wrong angle. Two years of suffering from his "work."

I had a double knee replacement. I read the reviews and do agree that after surgery he is in a hurry to go to the next patient but he will talk to you if you ask him. I feel he is a very good surgeon. he just needs to work on his bedside manner

I had 3 knee surgeries in 5 months by Dr Goldfarb. Hes the kind of doctor that's hard to find. By that I mean, one that is upfront with you. If you want a doctor that's going to tell you the truth, he should be your doctor. I was a bit worried at first, but come to the realization that this is what I needed in a doctor. A doctor that loves what he does. He seems to stay up on the changes in technology and advancements in knee replacements. I would recommend him to anyone needing knee surgery.

Leg injury and 'pop' behind my knee resulted in pain and inability to straighten my leg. Dr. Goldfarb did an xray, reviewed it and the notes that had been taken and entered the room announcing he already had the diagnosis, a torn calf muscle. He said it wasn't my knee and told me there were no restrictions and it would heal in a couple months. An MRI ordered by another doctor 5 weeks later showed a stress fracture of the tibia, torn meniscus and bakers cyst. I walked on a fracture for 5 weeks.

Dr. Goldfarb repaired my son's ACL tear in 2011. As a result of our very positive experience I chose to have him do a complete Bi-lateral Knee Replacement in June of 2012. I was back at work in six weeks in August, 2012. In February of 2014 I slipped on black ice and broke my right ankle and a bone in my right knee. Dr. Goldfarb repaired my ankle and I am up again. I highly recommend him.

I broke my ankle. He decided amputation was the correct procedure. He almost made it required as he ignored treating the staph wound I got in his office for a month. He put the ankle in a fixator but continued to maintain that amputation was the best (read easies) procedure, despite obvious signs that there were other viable options After wasting 5 months I sought a second opinion and am well on the way to being healed. I would have lost my foot under his continued care.ii
