I was treated poorly and came out of my endoscopy looking like I left a boxing match

Office staff was wonderful and answered all my questions. Dr. Yolen was a great doctor and went the extra step to get me a correct diagnosis.

I saw Dr Yolen today. He was very thorough and answered all my questions. Good bedside manner.The staff was also friendly and helpful. Never felt rushed.

Woman who answered the phone call was very rude. One word answers, and not helpful in any way. I will never recommend this office.

had an endoscope and a colonoscopy with Dr. Yolen today. He was very professional, efficient, and mostly kind and compassionate. he is definitely the best gastroenterologist Dr. that I have gone to and I would highly recommend him. Also, the staff is the same. The nurses in the colonoscopy unit at Westerly Hospital made me feel very comfortable and were very kind and obliging to answering any questions I might've had. very successful experience today. Thank you! Geri Maloney

I have been a Crohn's patient for more than 20 years. I have been treated by several (> 12) G.I. doctors specifically for my Crohn's disease and Dr. Yolen is by far the best I have dealt with. He is compassionate and listens, very knowledgable but never condescending and he makes every effort to let you know that you matter, rare traits today. He is usually very prompt, his staff is competant and courteous, my only complaint is the waiting room reading material. Dr Yolen visits frequently during hospitalizations and when that is not possible he always seems to be available for questions or concerns in a timely manner. I have found him to a valuable ally in my 'war' with Crohn's.

This Dr was no help! He dose not contact you, he has his staff do everything. He emptied my pockets and left me with no cure. I would not recommend him to anyone!
