Took my son in for a physical and Standard checkup today. Nurse came in asked was my son a girl or boy. This is not my son’s first time here this is his primary care doctor for about 3 years. Which mean she couldn’t have looked at the chart. She then proceeded to ask at home do you have consequences for you actions if you don’t listen. I stopped her and asked do she ask all the patients that. She said yes it’s protocol. I was very offended by the doctors/nurse actions. 3 months ago I took my daughter here for a physical same nurse touched my daughters hair asked was it real she then flicked (throwing motion saying it’s a different color it’s not real. she then told my 15 year old daughter while sitting in her gown that she was ashy. Me and my children are BLACK ( African-American) touching anyone’s hair any race or color is unprofessional especially making certain remarks. Me and my children are traumatized. I went to the receptionist both times and asked was there a number or someone to contact over this office to file a complaint and explained this was the second time me and my children where treated like this in the office. She nonchalantly said to contact the dr Virdee. My children will no longer be going to this doctor after today. I will be filing a complaint. Took my son in for a physical and Standard checkup today. Dr. Virdee is always accommodating with last minute appointment needs and takes calls when the office is closed. He’s very friendly and the kids appreciate his warm bedside manner. The other 1-star reviewer doesn’t elaborate on their negative experience and their review history includes ALL 1-star reviews of gas stations and fast food restaurants. This doctor is the definition of practicing medicine.

We are very pleased with the care/service we always get at Virdee Medical. The staff is caring, personable, and knowledgeable.
