Dr. Terry Vern Kelley

Dr Kelley is an experienced doctor/surgeon with a wonderful bedside manner. He listens to you and helps you through your medical issues. Love him! I had recently lost my father and had to have surgery. As I was being taken to the OR, I got upset. He asked me what was wrong and I told him being in the hospital just flooded me with memories of what I had just went through with my dad. I told him I was okay, it was just unexpected. He was very compassionate and offered to hold my hand until I went under. It was a small gesture on his part but meant the world to me. That was five years ago. I went to Dr. Kelley for years and he was very kind and caring until I had a procedure at the hospital. At the post op he seemed annoyed and was very short with me. On his way out the door he informed me that I might want to consider counseling. I asked him if I had said anything strange under anesthesia...he merely nodded his head and went out the door. I have never been more embarrassed and humiliated in my life. If he wanted me out of his practice, he succeeded. I now go to an all woman practice in Towne Lake and have never been happier. He is definitely on the moody side, so don't catch him on a bad day. I ran it by some good friends who are anesthetists and they were shocked. One even suggested it was grounds for a lawsuit....I would never do that, but it helped me to feel not so hard on myself.

Even though Dr. Kelley is an OBGYN Specialist, he genuinely cares about his patients' overall well-being and health. He is personal and engages in conversation about health and family which he remembers annually!! A remarkable human being and one of my favorite doctors!

I have been going to Dr. Kelley for 30 years, he is great, he sits down with me before each visit and takes him time talking to me and answers any question I might have, not many Dr.'s do this anymore. Until he retires (which I hope he doesn't any time soon) I'll always go to him for my yearly checkups.

Everyone was so kind and helpful!

I have been going to OB/GYN Associates now for 37 years. I trust no one else with my care. The office has incorporated COVID rules to protect everyone. I highly recommend, Dr. Kelley.

Dr. Kelley is so patient, knowledgeable and caring. I moved away and came back and he never forgot me. It was if he had been seeing me all along. His nurse is amazing as well. I’ve had the best care and confident in my treatment. You won’t feel like he is pressuring you but giving you the truth with options and allowing you as the patient to make the best decision for you Ob-Gyn needs. Dr. Kelley is truly amazing! It’s obvious he cares about his patients. With all 3 of my pregnancies he has gone above and beyond for me and my family!

Where do I even begin? Dr. Kelley is GOD SENT!!! The first time I ever met him is when he delivered our precious baby into this world on 2/12/2022. I don’t know of any other doctor I have had in my entire life that has the bedside manner of Dr. Terry Kelley. I never feel like he is holding the doorknob waiting to exit to the next patient. Dr Kelley always takes the time to listen to my concerns. He provides excellent medical advice and service.

Dr. Kelley actually read my history, asked clarifying questions, and offered suggestions and solutions for this stage in my life. I have used this practice for 29 years and they are great!

I have seen Dr. Kelley for almost 10 years. He is great!! Very informative and easy to talk to.

My experience with Dr. Kelley was great. Dr. Kelley exceeded my expectations; he was very attentive and informative.

Tiny bias- Dr. Kelley delivered me when I was born but I can wholeheartedly say that he and his entire staff are amazing. They make you comfortable and carry conversations about your personal life and health goals naturally and with empathy. Their check in and out process is quick and everyone is very friendly. I have been seeing Dr. Kelley for quite a few years now and will not be seeing anyone else until I absolutely have to. He and his team are always kind and go above and beyond to ensure your visit is as comfortable as possible. I also like that Dr. Kelley asks about your life or things going on in it. Dr. Kelley is informative, compassionate, and knowledgeable. I started going to his practice about 2 years ago once I found out I was pregnant. I didn’t see him until I checked into the hospital, and he stuck out to me. He informed me of complications that could occur for having a baby before 35 weeks, and discussed my options with me. Although I’m sure he was in total control, he made me feel like I had a choice. Fast forward to a year later. I’ve been dealing with chronic pain ever since I had my baby last June. I’ve been to multiple doctors, and even had a trip to the ER. I decided I needed to see a doctor who had seen a thing or two. I suddenly remembered Dr. Kelley’s sweet self, and began my research. I called on a Monday explaining the complications I had been having ever since I left the practice after my post partum visit. They were able to get my in Tuesday morning. For the first time in a year, I was heard. I was understood. I’m going in for a laparoscopic procedure next week, and I’ve never been more relieved. My very first gynecologist retired and he had provided care for my entire family, so the search began. As always you ask friends who their doctor is and I kept get the name Dr. Kelly, with statements like he’s the best, great doctor, the best doctor and best listener! I love Dr.Kelley and his wonderful team!! He’s so kind and sincerely cares about his patients. Dr.Kelley takes wonderful care of me and many of my family members! I also can’t brag on the staff enough either. His nurse that’s works closely with his is so helpful and always so nice. Sandy, a nurse who usually I see working up patients or helps me with my injection is WONDERFUL. People like Sandy are an amazing representation of a good company because she cares so much about the patients and how they are doing. Dr. Kelly and the staff treat you like a whole person not just a patient. They are courteous, welcoming, & seem genuinely happy to see you. The office is beautiful and immaculate. The part that means the most to me is that Dr. Kelly listens and inquires and seems to always know me, remember me, and offers heartfelt concern and guidance for my health as a whole person. He positively encourages me to pursue overall good health. He always makes me feel safe and well cared for. I am the third generation in my family to use Marietta OB/GYN as my gynecologist. Dr. Kelly treats both my daughters as well. I don’t believe that there is a better gynecologist out there and am very grateful that he is my doctor. I have been with Dr. Kelley and Diane, his nurse, for 20 years now and wouldn't trade them for the world! I honestly dread the year I call to see them and they tell me they've retired because I'm not sure how the GYN world or myself will get along with out both of them!! If you need a GYN doctor you need this team!

All the staff were professional, caring and efficient. Dr Kelley took the time to discuss my questions and make sure I understood everything before our time was done.

Dr Kelly is an amazing doctor. Professional, Empathetic, kind hearted, knowledgeable, and very straight forward. I like someone who isn’t going to candy coat things when it comes to my health. He’s there for me and will help find the solutions that are best for me.

Dr. Kelley is my absolute favorite doctor I've ever had. He truly loves and cares for his patients. You feel as though he has no other patients, but you. He takes him time, listens, and wants the best for you. I've always felt so heard and loved being in his care.
