In 2016 my daughter shattered her ankle at the joint. She is three years out after having Dr.Clanton rebuild and realign the joint. The accident happened in a downhill hill alpine race. She is back on her skis and competing again. Thank you Dr.Clanton you truly are one in a million! Kind and gentle soul

I feel beyond bless to have worked with the most genuine, kindhearted, genius Dr in the field. After 7 years of seeing multiple doctors that didn’t know what was wrong, Dr. Clanton figured it out and made me feel so at ease from the very start. He explained every detail so well and had exceptional bedside manner from the first appointment through surgery and post op. Even if I ever lived states away, I would fly to Dr. Clanton for surgery again. I’ve never been to a clinic that is ran this well. His staff, Allison, and all other care providers in the clinic and in surgery, were so professional, gentle, and caring. This place is the best in the world. In February 2015 I came home from work and could no longer walk or continue to work. I had a 30 year history of daily sprains and terrible pain when walking. I had unsuccessful surgery in 2012. I considered fusion but that didn’t fit with my desires to play golf, hike and bike. Dr Clanton replace my ankle with the STAR device. After recovery and rehab, which is long and difficult, I have complete use of my ankle and I have zero pain! Now I can do anything I want and I haven’t sprained my ankle since it was done, 3 years and counting. It’s so strong now! This is the most life changing event of my entire life, except for getting married and having children. I recommend Dr Clanton to anyone with ankle or foot problems. He’s the very best doctor I’ve ever seen. This clinic and hospital are the best. Everyone treats you like you are the only patient they have. The love and care you receive here is second to none. Dr. Thomas Clanton and his medical team have worked wonders assisting with the surgical and therapeutic rehabilitation of my ankle injury. Prior surgeries, by other surgeons, provided limited success repairing the ankle damage. I am returning to a productive and active lifestyle. Thank you for the excellent care all of you have provided. I have referred other people to Dr. Clanton for their ankle and foot care.

Here on ski vacation and broke my ankle. They got me in quickly and will be having surgery on Thursday. They have been phenomenal!!

I have been a patient of Dr. Clanton for 15 months. I went to him after 2 failed surgeries. He didn't push surgery on me. We tried a few other things first. It did become apparent that I needed surgery. I had surgery 8 weeks ago and every day I get a little stronger. He is an aamazing surgeon with passion for what he does and cares about each individual patient. He changed the way I'll be able to live my life now.

Thank goodness I was blessed to have Dr Clanton do my second ankle surgery. He is so gifted, honest and humble. The staff is also as good and capable as he is and focused on getting you the very best surgical result.

Outstanding all around. Dr. Clanton, along with his team, exceeded my expectations. A great experience and great outcome after surgery.

Such a blessing and an unbelievable experience at the Steadman Clinic and at Vail Valley Medical Center. My son broke his ankle snowboarding and we were referred to Dr. Clanton from Dr. Podgorny at Beaver Creek Medical. I was told by a half dozen people on the way to see him that "he is the best." He evaluated my son and performed surgery a day later. The most comforting part was when he prayed with my son and me before they took him back to do surgery. Dallas Jr. is doing fantastic and he will be back to playing baseball in about 8 weeks. Our doctor in Louisiana did the post OP visit and said the surgery and the repair were AWESOME - its great to have our doctor at home be so complementary of Dr. Clanton and his work. I have the utmost respect for Dr. Clanton. He properly diagnosed and treated my ankle injury. For someone so well-known, he is very humble and has an excellent bedside manor. It is almost impossible to find a physician in any field these days with his expertise, who also has a humble and caring spirit. I can't say enough good about him and have nothing negative to say.
