This guy is a joke! I went for my first exam and I didn’t have my medical records (I was never told that I would need them for a first exam). He took me in his office for 5 minutes. He did no exam told me there was nothing he could do without my medical records and charged me $169. I’m sorry but it seems like for not doing anything $169 seems a bit steep. This guy is a joke! This doctor prescribed my father Claritin. Two days later I took my father to the ER where he was diagnosed with acute kidney injury. It didn’t just happen overnight. My father was ill for two weeks... a good doctor asks probing questions. If he/she can’t diagnose the problem then he/she sends the patient for tests or further diagnostics. This doctor didn’t do that. Had my father not called me and gone to the ER, I don’t know what would have happened. I have advised my father never to go back to this physician. Excellent care and genuine conversations make this the best place in Lansing in my opinion.

Always on point. I highly recommend Dr. J. He knows health and wellness and much, much more.

My main issue was a dropped paperwork off that the dr. Said he'd fill out before I had left my appointment. A week passed and I had a deadline to get that paperwork turned in so I called to check on it and was told Id have to come in for another appointment. This upset me because that's not what we disscused and there is a 30$ copay for visits. On top of that I'd have to pay 25$ for the paperwork to be filled out. I would have paid and been fine but they never called after I dropped the paperwork off to even alert me to this. Yes I hung up the phone on whomever takes the calls I was very upset and had nothing left to say. Dr called me back and told me to pick my stuff up. Was I rude for hanging up...yes! I think I had the right to be upset. I didn't curse or raise my voice! I can't speak clearly when I'm very upset. This now will cost me my job for that paperwork not being done.
