My name is Leo Cunningham, Dr. Wilks, has replaced both of my shoulders left and right total replacement. The man is good smart and he knows what he’s doing. Ive not had any thing go wrong with the shoulders. He done a great job.

Dr Wilkes is sadistic. For a leg fx and repair of 2 tendons. He gave insufficient pain relief. 15 minutes late to appointment he refused to see. Then wouldn't refill what little meds he gave until the rescheduled appointment a week later. Don't let this person do surgery on you. Unless you enjoy suffering.

I can’t say enough about Dr. Valentine and Dr. Wilkes at OthoCincy. I was suffering some knee and IT Band issues 2 weeks before a race (Death March) Dr. Valentine carved out time in his schedule and then brought Dr. Wilkes in THE SAME DAY to consult. Both evaluations were thorough and informative. Dr. Wilkes had me up a going and I was able to compete. OthoCincy and its staff go above and beyond! First of all I like to Thank God for OrthoCincy Dr. Wilkes and his team are phenomenal I was in so much pain with my shoulder and I walked out of there pain-free thank you Dr. Wilkes you are the most caring and compassionate doctor I’ve encountered in a long time thank you again . God bless you .

Dr Wilkes might be about the friendliest doctor I’ve ever met. I have an issue with a rotator cuff, and his reaction is that working with and healing shoulder issues is one of his greatest passions in life. My experience with Dr. Trevor Wilkes goes back nearly 20 years. I have suffered some past injuries which should have left me debilitated to say the least. He’s worked both knees and a shoulder. I still do everything that men half my age marvel at. So when I was told that I needed a total knee replacement by specialists in Upstate NY (where I now reside).....I called my favorite surgeon for a second opinion. Just hearing his voice brought assurance. All I really need is a skilled meniscus graph, and I’ll gladly travel the 600 miles to Cincinnati, and have it performed by my old friend, Dr. Trevor Wilkes.. Word!! Dr. Wilkes explained everything and was really great to me. I would recommend him to anyone.

I have had a total of six implants and two badly needed foot surgeries. Wellington Orthopedics has been nothing but OUTSTANDING!!! Dr. Wilkes, performed a total shoulder replacement surgery and my quality of life has been unbelievably so much better!!! Do to my medical condition it was a reverse replacement shoulder surgery but none the less it was successful and so much better! Unlike rotator cuff surgery this total replacement shoulder surgery was so perfect that on day three I was doing at home physical therapy. A small clean incision; no external stitches and after day three a 80% reduction in pain. I cannot say enough great things about how caring Dr Wilkes was before and after my surgery. I seen him two days before surgery and we went over it all again; answering any new questions I had; the day of surgery he was at my bedside comforting me before OR and no one can ask for a better caring personable surgeon like Dr. Wilkes!!! Wonderful visit for a minor shoulder injury. Dr. Wilkes and his assistant took the time to ask all the right questions and helped me move forward with a productive and clear recovery plan.

Dr. Wilkes listens to what the problem may be. He uses his talents to confirm the problem. Then he takes methodical action all the time explaining why. I like Dr Wilkes as a doctor and would recommend him all day long.

I was very pleased with my visit! Dr Wilkes & Jesse spent a lot of time going over all details concerning my treatment & the ongoing procedures to use at home. All of my questions were answered to my satisfaction!

Dr. Wilkes is an excellent surgeon who is very professional, patient , understanding and truly cares about his patients and your not just another name and number.I have seen over 150 doctors in my lifetime and he and his staff are in the top 10%.

Dr Trevor Wilkes is excellent shoulder surgeon. He replaced both my shoulders in 2019 and my outcome was amazingly good. I would not trust anyone else for any future shoulder care needs. He is very interested in the continued well being of his patients.

He is one of The BEST orthopaedic surgeons in Cincinnati, Ohio.

He did a great job of diagnosing and sharing the medical information with our 13 year old in an understandable way.

Has done all 4 of my knee surgeries. Dr. Wilkes always gives me all my options and allows me choices in my own care. He is very patient and kind. His bedside manner is amazing. I also like that he has personal experience with some of the same issues I have so he can come at it from a more personal, rather than strictly clinical, perspective. Met with Dr. Wilkes for the first time and he was great. Took the time to thoroughly explain everything to me, and possible outcomes unlike other Doctors I have seen in the past.

Dr. Wilkes was very friendly. Amazing bedside manner. Took time to thoroughly explain results and upcoming procedure including drawing for me.

I had a traumatic knee injury that required Dr Wilkes perform 4 surgeries over 2 years. He was compassionate, professional and went out of his way to care for me. He switched offices and I traveled over 2 hours so he could finish my surgeries. Highly recommend

Dr Wilkes is in my opinion amongst the best. Surgery on shoulder was very good. Pain nor nearly as bad as expected. Always friendly and answers all questions.

Did surgery on my elbow and saw me only once post-op leaving me in more pain than I had before surgery & pawned me off on a PA. I think it was very unprofessional. I saw Dr. Wilkes due to a torn meniscus. He was very patient while I asked many questions, unlike another surgeon I saw. He explained everything on a level that I could understand and made an effort to get to know me. I was off the narcotics 48 hours after my surgery, walking without the crutch 10 days later and 15 days later riding a recumbent bike on level 2 for the 1st time. I had very little swelling and bruising. Dr. Wilkes is very patient, professional and I fully trust him.

Held to write this review until I could tell the ending. 50% tear in patella tendon in early 2015. Confirmed via MRI in September. Dr Wilkes explained multiple options and made his reco based on being slightly aggressive, which I like as I don't like to sit still. After research, I agreed with his reco and went with the Tenex procedure Dec 2015. Followed rehab directions to a 'T' and viola...here I am in Aug 2016 and my knee appears to have recovered. Enjoying running & sports again!
