My wife came in for the 2nd time on todays date. They had emailed and text to verify today’s appointment. She arrives and they inform her that the technician left; that they didn’t realize that my wife was scheduled…oddest thing. They did something similar to me a few years back. I guess they are consistent. I’ve never seen issues such as this before in other offices (with scheduling). Very odd. The scary thing is this is a cardiology office..if they can’t get stuff as simple as scheduling down….it doesn’t instill much confidence….to say the least.

He found my two blocked arteries, cleaned them and put three Stents in with out any problems. He is very serious about his work but lessons and is always concerned! His staff is also very good at their jobs. Probably saved my life!

I stop seeing him cause he doesn't take time listen....just a minute or two in office with you and his gone...no connection between patient and doctor

About two years ago I was hospitalized for a condition which later found out was dehydration. This so called doctor wanted to put a pace maker in me because he said I had an enlarged heart. I was given tests which I did not pass because it’s really hard to pass a stress test when you don’t have anything to eat or drink for 48 hours. This doctor was pushing for me to get this pace maker. I refused to allow him to do this. He sent his colleague named Gogia or something of that sort. I can’t remember the correct spelling. He was trying to push the issue as well and said that I could collapse and die if I don’t get this machine in me.Again I refused. Of course he left mad because I was not letting myself be intimidated by these con artists. I went to the VA for a second opinion. Some tests were ran and just got my results in today. I was told that everything is normal and that in his professional opinion do not require the use of a pace maker. I won’t mention the name of the doctor I got sent to by the VA out of respect for him. But he is a cardiologist. Do not trust this so called doctor. Always ask for a second opinion because I believe they are only out for the money. If you have insurance they will do everything possible to charge everything and stick things in your body which you do not need. I was so thrilled with Dr Shariff. He walked into my room for a visit and immediately noticed an issue with my leg. Within a week we had an ultrasound and then a procedure scheduled for a blocked leg vein. Turned out it needed a stent and clot removal, which was 80% occluded. I feel so much better and so does my leg, which been that way for almost 10 yrs. no other Dr took the time to find out why I would not heal and the problems I had. I am so thankful. Dr. Usman Sheriff has been my cardiologist for almost 15 years now. After being in and out of the hospital for about a year and a half my friend, Brenda, recommended him to me and I honestly believe he gave me back my life. I am very happy with the treatments I have received from him. I feel very comfortable and secure with decisions he makes towards my health,and I love that he is very thorough and patient. He takes his time, explains his findings and is always willing to answer questions. Unfortunately, right now I'm battling my insurance to get him approved so I can continue to consult him, since he is out of network.
