Dr. Vidya is so kind, helpful, caring and understanding. My daughter and l love her so much. l am happy that she is my daughter’s doctor. The staff are also very nice and helpful.

One of the most unprofessional and uncomfortable doctors appointments I have ever been to. Absolutely will never go back and she should never work with another patient.

I am an adult patient of Dr. K's and she is truly empathetic and helpful. As someone with a chronic illness, it is hard to find a doctor who takes symptoms seriously. Dr. K spent a good deal of time with me and was very thorough in taking my medical history and explained some of the more complex issues I was dealing with in understandable terms. She put together a treatment plan and was also accommodating in some travel/distance issues I had concerning follow up appointments.

Best Medical Professional and Human being amazing woman on the planet. Actually cares!!! Super smart. Humor. Wonderful and alive. I am so glad I met this doctor and I am so glad for who she is. Great amazing wonderful!!!!

I wrote a very nice feedback before today’s experience with this practice when we got review request from their site. I try to keep positive perspective and not to comment negatively. Today was the third negative experience in a row of three days so I couldn’t stop myself from writing this. The doctor is great. Just the staff is misleading and careless in terms of taking care of patient. Day 1: our 1st appointment as new patient for geneticist Dr. Vidya Krishnamurthy. Wait time: over 30 minutes past my appointment time. Day 2: we go to get genetics test done early AM with our toddler with incorrect prescription details “ CHOA will provide a collection tube “. We reached and found out that they don’t provide ANY genetic testing tubes! Still after that I called nurse at Dr Vidya’s office who said “oh it was in back order. “”They never told us “”that they don’t provide tubes!” let me call quest for the tubes while you wait so I can come and provide you”. We wait about 25 minutes and not any positive response from nurse. So I said we will come when you get supply. On the following day( yesterday) she informed us that they have tube. I picked up tube this afternoon and took my toddler to blood test. The lab tech at CHOA tried at two spots with poking and telling us that she needed to be well hydrated before blood work. So, obviously the nurse at doctor’s office never told us about having the toddler well hydrated before test. After seeing my daughter suffering with no tests being able to done due to lack of guidance to us from Doctor’s office at all, I went to her office and asked to see the doctor. She didn’t come, but the nurse came there. I informed the same (may be just one) nurse at the practice that you should have told us the general instructions about blood test requirements as making sure about child being hydrated as instructions. Her reply “CHOA never told us that!” I re-affirmed that it’s YOUR job to tell your patient about such basic requirements of any test, not the CHOA team. We would NEVER go to this office again. We felt being not taken care of at all (despite doctor being very nice!). Because of such staff, she has lost our business forever. She is the best doctor I have ever met.

As new parents, we were very nervous about our son's health, but Dr. V put our minds at ease. She is very caring, patient, and willing to answer all our questions. And when a mistake was made, she made our son a priority and resolved the issue immediately. I am sad we are moving away and cannot continue seeing her. We love you, Dr. V!

I went for my son s annual check up . She interacts very well with parents as well as kids.She is very good pediatric.

Doctor is extremely good but Administration/ front offcice is very unprofessional.

Dr. V has been my kids dr for 9 years she is so sweet and professional. Amazing

Dr Vidya and her team are very impressive. They handle kids very well and it's really easy to get appointment.

We've been with her for over 4 years now. She's extremely professional, caring and kind person. As Parents of first child, we used to panic even for minor ailments. With her around, We've always felt our child is in safe hands. Some of our neighbors also visit her. All of us have a very high regard for her.

Both of my children have been patient's of Dr. Krishnamurthy since they were little. Presently my daughter is 25 and my son is 18. And she has been a amazing pediatrician to them both. She has helped both of them with major illnesses that no one else was willing to help us through she is about healing not just a treatment for the time being but she wants you to be well for a very long time and that's not something you will find in doctors these days. We love Dr. Krishnamurthy she is a major part of our family. My daughter is grown and married and living in Massachusetts and if any medical advice is needed she knows she can call Dr. Krishnamurthy and be advised on the issue at hand. Greatest Doctor Ever!!! I called the office and the receptionist lady put me on hold for 11 mins, then she came back and her qn was "have you been here before? " I said "no". "Send over your child's medical records to book an appointment" I offered her that I would get it on the day of appointment or before, but she refused to give me an appointment saying "our policy do not allows me to book an appointment without a medical record first" WHY DO YOU EVER HAVE TO GO TO A DOCTOR WHO REFUSES YOU RIGHT ON THE FACE. She's been not just caring but holistic about the approach for treatment. Rationale and conservative about the med , which is important for your child as you don't want them to be filled with medications weakening their systems at early stage. She is the best Doctor.

Very good pediatrician and we feel that we are in good hands.

We have been with her for over 10 years. She is kind ,caring ,extremely knowledgeable ,very personable and extremely professional.

I have never, ever publicly reviewed a physician, and have a few issues that require frequent doctors appointments as well as specialist visits (if that gives you any idea of how much of an impact this doctor made on me for me to write a review). My child and I both had an appointment with Dr. Krishnamurthy for a genetics consult, and I have never been treated with such compassion, and EMPATHY from a doctor. That's a big deal to me; probably to anyone with a chronic condition that has gotten tossed around because you look okay on the outside. On a human level, she treated us with kindness, by making eye contact, and taking the time to ask questions, and listen to what I was saying in response. From a medical perspective, I felt like I was given outstanding treatment, and she really knew her stuff. I felt validation from some issues that both my child and I have been having for some time, but had not found answers for thus far. If only a quarter of doctors around today had both her bedside manner and actual clinical/diagnostic skills...well, that's a discussion for another day. It seems most doctors I've encountered lately have about as much personality as a coffee table. At one point during the appointment, when I was talking about my child, I got upset because I have been worried. She stopped me, looked me in the eyes, and told me something along the lines of, "Don't worry, it's going to be okay." Doctors seem to have become afraid to be human to patients, and that's sad to me. She hasn't lost that touch. Her office is a few hours from where I live, but I am so glad we made the drive to see her. I can't recommend her enough. One of the best doctors i have come across by far. She was very thorough with her approach, she was caring and i felt that my son was in the best hands possible. Both my husband and i were very emotional during our sons appointment and she was reassuring and caring. I wanted to give her a hug, if it so happens that my our son does have a genetic disorder... There is no other doctor that i would feel would do as much or be as thorough as krishnamurthy. It is a great and rare feeling to actually "trust" that a doctor genuinely cares and will be right there with you thru treatment. One of the best doctors i have come across by far. The doctor is such a nice , caring and friendly person. The only reason I'm sticking to this office is her. Otherwise her staff are very poor. I've never had them call me to remind a vaccination or follow up appt. I need to call them every time to confirm and each time I call they put me on hold and come back n ask the same details again. Always disappointing. I wish dr.vidya would appoint more efficient staff.

I was so happy to find Mrs. Vidya for my kids, she's very skilled and looks at the whole person and treats the children with respect. My kids love her, since we met her 10 years !!! ago. She does respect our choices which vaccinations to get and several of our friends now see her, too.She loves to see how our kids develop over the years with our choice to homeschool and has even recommend it to other parents.

I usually don't post anything negative about any publicly but for anybody's child safety, here I post. If you want your child to be safe then pl don't take the child to this doctor. I myself and many of my neighbors around faced bad experiences with her medical treatment.

Dr. Krishnamurti has a smile for every child. Do not be worried, your family will be treated with respect no matter what the insurance is. Five years ago I was very gingerly about the immunizations, but Dr. Krishnamurti was very flexible and did not pressure me at all. Also, Nurse Claudia gives the best shots.
