Dr. Vivian E Lan

I’ve been her patient for 20+ years. She’s very thorough, knowledgeable and nice! She takes the time to listen to your concerns and doesn’t rush you through your appointments. I highly recommend her!

I've been going for 4 yrs and never have I felt that she cares or listens or provides answe3rs when i have basic questions. I remember one time i asked how much vitamin A i should get (safe dosage) and she had no idea nor made any attempt to find out. if youre healthy, u can probably get buy w/ this physiciahn but if u want a physician that will help you or even exhibit any interest in your health, i would not recommend dr. Lan

She saw me as a real person with all the baggage that brings. This was my first visit and she took the time to get to know me. She answered all my questions, arranged for blood work, and took care of my prescriptions.

I met with Dr. Lan as a new patient. She asked many questions, diagnosed my situation, recognizing what my previous doctor had missed. This is the type of attention to detail that we need in our primary. She wrote a script and I am better.

Dr. Lan is very professional and caring. Her knowledge and "bedside manner" are impressive and inspire confidence in what she says.

Dr. Lan is a compassionate doctor. She is a good listener, addresses all your complains. She takes time with her patients. You never feel rushed. I would recommend her highly.

I would definitely recommend Dr. Lan to family and friends. She always makes me feel comfortable to share my issues with her and she takes time to listen. We also are able to laugh sometimes! I feel like she really cares about my health and has never steered me wrong. My husband also sees Dr. Lan and really likes her.

Dr Lan has been my primary for years. I wouldn’t go to anyone else. She’s a good diagnostician and a great GP, and she’s not afraid to tell hard truths.

'Doctor' who simply doesn't care and belongs to the greedy spoon system. I would never recommend her to anyone.

I don't think Vivian Lan can even be called a doctor. It's hard to believe this woman went to a medical school. She needs to be investigated - every time I have a health issue, she never gets it right. She should be a secretary, because all she can do is to look at her desktop computer and type a few sentences. She hardly talks to a patient, her manners are robot-like. Look for another physician.

I had a bad experience visiting Vivian Lan - she has no interest in her patients and lacks some knowledge.

It is simply dangerous to see this doctor. She is absolutely incompetent - misdiagnosed my problems twice. She failed to send me to a specialist instead suggested I take Vitamin B when I had a serious tumor. It's probably OK to see her if you need some paperwork done and your health is in a very good state.

Dr. Lan has been my primary care doctor for over 20 years now. Every visit is informative and helpful. I have recommended Dr. Lan to my friends and family. and all of them are more than happy with their care.

I never even got to the visit. After 5 mins on hold, I finally get a person. This person tells me she has to look at Dr. Lan’s schedule and put me on hold for another 5 mins. 10 mins of hold! And then she asks for my information finally. I ask, “Before I give you my information, what the next date available?” She says, “Who is this?” in a demanding voice and then asks me if I’m a child. I am a woman with a woman’s voice! All that hold time, rudeness and for what? I’m going to find another doctor. Oh yes, and the last time I was there about 4 years ago, the office staff submitted my bloodwork paperwork outside the 90 day window to get paid from insurance. It was their delay and when they didn’t get paid because they were late, they tried to pass in the cost to me! For their mistake! That’s it. I’m done. New doctor. I don’t know what goes on in that office, but I’ve had enough.

Awful experience w/ Dr. Lan. Unprofessional, un-informed, rushes you, doesn't answer your questions (even the simple ones). Rarely do I leave reviews for doctors but I've had enough of her. She's not even a mediocre physician. She is truly just awful. I encourage you to look elsewhere. If you decide to go see her, you'll most definitely leave within a year.

No kind word, no eye contact, just looking to her computer. No explanation about new medicine, no explanation of my condition. No more!

Dr. Lan, along with the rest of this practice, is more concerned about herding in the next patient and moving the process along then she is about your concerns and the reason for your visit. This business is like a factory and there's no warmth or compassion from anyone. The last time I was in to see her, will be the last time. She totally missed hearing me and virtually missed my illness. Had I not gone to a specialist, who knows where I would be!! Awful service and follow up. Stay away!!

Was so disappointed because I had seen Dr LAN as a top doctor in area. She was very rushed through my annual physical. There was no follow up -I had to call repeatedly to get results. Then, after an emergency room situation - I called several times to understand blood work which was out of range and next steps- -and never heard back. Never received a reminder for annual check up -I found a new doctor for my physical.
