Dr. Acker’s always been thorough and easy to talk to. He handles all the adult members of my family. Great choice for a family practitioner.

There seems to be a communication problem here. This was only my 2nd visit to office and 2nd time with problems with the way office is run. Lack of communication and confusion seem to be the norm with entry staff. But once behind door to see the Doctor, everything is great. Dr. Acker is Awesome!

Dr.Acker and his staff are always top notch. As for the lady drawing blood is another story. 3 sticks later was wondering if it was her first day...Never had an issue in the past. Perhaps it was my day to be the pin cushion.

Doctor an the blood drawn area and Techs were awesome. Highly recommend.

He was more than kind enough to allow my appointment to be virtual even though I am overdue with an in-person visit. (He understood that I was a busy college student)

Dr Acker has found his calling. More physicians should be blessed with a heart filled with compassion and understanding for your patients. Dr. Acker should be acknowledged for his expertise in internal medicine and his caring approach to every patient.

I have been a long time patient and the quality of care has greatly decreased since he joined Texas health resources. Every time I call for an appointment I’m sent to a NP. I haven’t been able to actually see him in awhile. His NP was absolutely horrible and refused to see me in person. I was told I couldn’t be given oral antibiotics which I later found out is false and was given ear drops for a pretty severe ear infection. She told me it was highly unlikely for adults to get an ear infection and wasn’t going to do anything for it and also refused to let me come in to have someone LOOK. I refused to let her leave me with nothing and she reluctantly sent drops. After days of severe pain and no sleep I ended up seeing someone else and it turns out I have a ruptured ear drum and should never be using those drops (they cost me a fortune). I was then given oral antibiotics and am now on the mend no thanks to his staff. I will not be returning.

First appointment was great. Dr. Billinger was great, however my medication was making it hard for me to breathe when I called the office all lines were busy, I work in the same building so I went down to the office and no one was on phones at all. Nurses at the desk are rude. I was turned away and told to just stop medication after I’m already having a hard time breathing. Will never recommend this office. First appointment was great. Excelent . Concern and carring was shown. receptionist was very helpful with new insurande.

Dr. Acker took his time and was very thorough and detailed, but still down-to-earth and personable. Everyone from the check-in desk to his MA to the lab staff were stellar. I would definitely recommend this group to anyone! And *bonus* my lab results came in the very next day!

I've got a great doctor! Dr. Acker is caring, listens very well, and addresses every issue. It can be difficult to find a doctor who follows through and has a fantastic support staff, however this is no longer a worry for me.

Dr Akers & his Assistants (Dottie & Ashley) are always very informative, friendly & helpful. On the rare occasion I may need to call them, usually concerning an expired prescription, they will either immediately take my call or get back with me promptly. Dr Acker was very understanding of my concerns and offered suggestions other than medication to improve or handle my concerns. His assistant that did the preliminary questions or review of my chart was very pleasant and efficient. Nice personality.

Had my first visit with Dr Acker last week. Very pleased with entire visit, starting with pleasant person who made new patient appointment, his very sweet and efficient medical assistant, and Dr. Acker himself! Great first impression!

My family has been seeing Dr. Acker for almost 12 years! I’ve never met a doctor that cared such a great deal for his patients as Dr. Acker and his team! He never rushes and will leave no question unanswered or discussed. He has so much patience with children! My oldest, now 16, has a hard time warming up to people. I have been going to see dr. Acker for around 9 years. He is absolutely the best doctor I have ever seen he's compassionate he listens he truly cares about his patients I would see nobody else but him I would recommend him to everyone looking for a good doctor

Doctor Acker is a great physician. He is kind, listens to you, very friendly and explains things to you so you'd understand. He treats me like a person and not another patient. He is the type of doctor a doctor should be and I even go out of my way to make sure he takes my insurances before I sign up for the plans. As a vet, I've dealt with lots of bad, rude, and inattentive doctors in the system. So when we found him, it was refreshing.
