I have always had positive experiences at Dr Discont's office. Today was especially nice as I watched a young man who works there help an older woman who could not write due to parkinson's. He sat with her and filled out her new patient paperwork. That is going above and beyond. So kind

I was seen on time, treated with care and compassion by the friendly staff and Dr. Discont spent plenty of time listening to me and discussing treatment options.

I just had my initial visit to the office of Dr. Alan Discont - and it was as thorough, enjoyable, and successful as any visit with a doctor in my long life. He is very professional, yet personable, and explains everything. He does not believe in doing unnecessary intervention, but listens and understands what our feet mean to us! I recommend him 100%

I was in a lot of pain after a fall and worried I broke my ankle. They had an appointment right away.

I cannot say enough good about Dr Discont. Many years ago one of my horse stepped on my right big toe and broke the joint. I thought it was just sore and I put up with it for years. Then I decided to see what could be done and my GP referred me to Dr Discont. He is a great guy, fun to talk up and wonderful office - but- can he fix my toe. He did an X ray and asked how I was able to stand up let alone walk. And then he replaced that joint with a metal one. No more pain, full use of my foot, why did I wait. It has now been several years and that joint still works perfectly.

Didn't get to see the doctor. Was in the waiting room 45 minutes before I left. The others out there with me had also been waiting too long as well. Add to the experience of listening to a patient place a 30-minute phone call during her wait, and I decided 45 minutes was enough.

They were very supportive, offered every other option before surgery and great post care.

Dr Discont is very knowledgeable. He listened to each concern and addressed them all even offered suggestions that were free to do at home. 3 of our 5 family members see him for foot problems. We really enjoyed Joanna his assistant. She was quick explained and everything to us.

Dr. Discont is awesome! I had surgery a couple weeks ago and so far my experience has been outstanding! Dr. D and Tara (surgery coordinator) have consistently been there night or day for any need, question or concern I've had. I highly recommend!

Dr Discont is amazing. He worked on a few family members of mine and all came back with raving reviews. I continued to refer him, however he’s a busy man, so sometimes you get referred to other Drs in the practice. With that, one of the other drs family members have seen is Dr. Baer. He is so funny with his little one liners yet extremely great with patients of all ages. I’ve known Dr. Discont for 12 years. I personally don’t need his services right now. I’m sure I will though and I will only go to his practice with the Drs whom have replaced him. If you have any type of foot problem please see them. Entire staff is extremely nice and accommodating. Dr. Discont has an amazing office in Chandler. I had to have foot surgery due to a fall and they got me in quickly and got my issues resolved with excellence.

I was having severe ankle pain. After a thorough examination, I received my diagnosis and treatment plan. With following the prescribed treatment plan and a few office visits, my ankle is good as new. Everyone I encountered at the office was friendly and knowledgeable.

Dr. Discont is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and just a great doctor overall! I've been going to him for several years and he performed out patient surgery this morning on a "misbehaving" toe that has been causing issues. I was very nervous, but his calm manner put me at ease, and this experience has been so much easier than I feared. His staff and assistants are delightful, and I highly recommend Dr. Discont for all of your foot and ankle needs!

I was referred to Dr. Discont because I had a toe that hurt and was getting worse. Dr. Discont looked a the X rays and it was clear there was no longer any joint in that toe . After going over all the options I chose getting a replacement joint in that toe. I never had any pain from the surgery and I had to spend more time that I liked on the couch but I was never immobilized. This is a very busy office but you will feel welcomed and I never felt rushed. Now after several months I am pain free and fully functional on that foot. I can fully recommend Dr. Discont and the practice.

I've been a patient of Dr. Krahn on and off for approximately 3 years for various foot issues. He is always knowledgeable, thorough in explaining the issue and the solution, and his staff is wonderful. I recently had surgery to remove a Taylor's bunion. Dr. Krahn did a great job and kept me informed of what to expect during the procedure as well as the aftercare.

Here is the short review - I love this guy, his office and his work. And I send everybody I can to see him! OK, the long version. After may years of discomfort (horse, polo, rodeo)I asked my family doctor who they recommended for foot stuff and they said Dr. Alan Discont. From the reception desk to the exam room was a great experience. They made me feel as if they really cared if I came in at all. Dr. Discont came in and brought an assistant with a computer. He focused on me and not on taking notes, and he was in no hurry. What a new experience. After some looking around, a bunch of questions and some x rays and some additional conversation I told him I thought the joint replacement option was the best and he agreed. Note - there was no joint left, just bone rubbing on bone. I had no pain after the surgery, and after a few weeks of staying off that foot as much as possible I am back in action. Got foot pain? Go see this guy and tell him Bill the polo player said hello.

Efficient, no waiting, Very business like. Enjoyed visit with Dr. Discont about my issue.

The office was friendly and efficient. Very little wait time for my appointment. Dr Discont resolved my son’s foot issue within two visits. I am very happy with the outcome.

I came in to Dr. disconts office with a foot injury and both appointments with him were very productive and very informative. I feel like he did above and beyond to diagnose my foot and provide advice for at home care. I loved my experience and my family will continue to come to him if needed :-)

I was a new patient, and was able to get an appointment the next day! The front desk staff was friendly, checked me in promptly, and took the time to explain my complicated insurance coverage for the visit. I was taken to the room, and the doctor came in only moments later. Dr. Krahn listened to my symptoms, discussed the options, and treated me right then and there! They had the correct DME on hand, so I didn’t have to search all over town for the right equipment/brace. Everything went so smoothly, and everyone was very friendly! I highly recommend!

They didn’t mind making me wait 1.5 hours today for 1 year follow up check in appointment. Could someone please step in and run this office correctly? The Dr. group is fantastic but their staff is not representing them well with how the office is being ran. Disappointing.

I have been seeing Dr. Discont for about 2 years now and what can I say, if there was a foot GOD, this man would be Zeus!! I had terrible trouble with my plantar fasciitis and after a few shots in the heels, all pain was gone, and it has stayed gone for almost 2 years now. He is funny and has awesome bedside manner. He is the best in my book!!

DR. Discont goes above and beyond with his patients. I have had two sets of shots in both of my feet To treat my plantar fasciitis and bone spurs. I was super nervous but the doctor ????????‍⚕️ Made me feel comfortable and relaxed! I absolutely recommend this doctor.

Amazing Dr!!!!!! I was very pleased with my whole experience!!! The staff was amazing and very lovely!!!!

I have taken all 3 of my boys to him for ingrown toe nails and they are wonderful with them I have recommend there office to several people.

I absolutely LOVE Dr Discont. He is a very experienced Doctor, who also truly cares about his patients. I am happy, that I found him as my Podiatrist.

I have been going to see Dr. Discont on and off for about 7 years. He has done surgery on both my feet and has been amazing. His staff is helpful and caring. Dr. Discont called me personally on a Saturday after both surgeries to check on me and gave me his personal cell phone number to call if I had any problems or questions. He has personally returned phone calls after hours and goes the extra mile for every patient. I have referred several people to him and they have all been very pleased. I wish every dr was like this. I have been seeing Dr. Discont for at least 12 years, if not more. I went to him after another foot doctor botched my surgery. I have found him to be very compassionate and attentive. I have never known him to rush me or recommend treatment that is not needed. As a matter of fact he has always tried to recommend treatment which is less painful, less invasive and the least expensive way to go. In most cases, this has always worked. I have been going to Dr. Discont for a few years and I am so happy I found such a wonderful doctor. I take my elderly parents to see him also and I would highly recommend him to everyone. His bedside manner is beyond a doctor patient relationship. This doctor cares and really listens and wants to help. His entire staff are just as wonderful. Last Weds.I had surgery on my big toe and I felt so at ease and I knew I was in great hands. The office is busy because he and the office are incredible,so waiting is well worth it. I have to say I was very disappointed by my visit. I'm a very active person and when I had an achilles heel problem I went to see Dr. Discont. I have to agree with the other review that the practice is a meat shop. I was in an out and was no better off than I was before. They took x-rays which of course does not really help when you're trying to view tendons so he couldn't even tell me for sure if I had a tear or not. And on top of that they charge my insurance over $200 to boot which is way too much considering he saw me for less than 5 minutes and didn't really give me any new information than I had before I went in to see him. BEWARE, find a doctor that really cares about giving you facts and peace of mind, not some 50/50 guess. It would have been so much better to of just gone to a normal doctor and have them ultrasound my heel to definitely tell me if there's a tear or not. And probably cost me less than the $200 of useless x-rays. I have to say I was very disappointed by my visit.
