We love Julia and Dr. Ahdher!! They sincerely care about each patient and have been there for my family for years!

Due to getting COVID my son, who plays football had to be cleared through a cardiologist to play. In our initial visit, Dr. Alhadheri said he wanted to do a 7-day monitoring of his heart to track his resting heart activity vs. his active heart activity. Additionally, he said they'd do a stress test in their office after the 7 day monitoring was done. He put the monitoring device on on a Sunday afternoon. He played video games that day and slept. The next day he had football practice at 2 pm, within 5 minutes of activity the monitoring device came off because of his sweat. I immediately called Preventice Services (the monitoring company affiliated with APC) and I called APC and told them about the issue. PS told me to mail everything back to them since it didn't work. I asked if I would still be charged for this and they said no. The APC office also said they would note that there was an issue. Dr. Alhadheri was on vacation at the time, but they were able to contact him and he said that it wasn't a problem and that the in-office stress test would be sufficient. This was upsetting to hear, because if the in-office test was sufficient, why where we asked to do the additional test? A few weeks later I receive a bill in the mail from PS for $750! I called PS immediately and they said that there policy is that its a flat rate no matter how many days they monitored for. It didn't matter that they didn't get any "active heart rate" monitoring or that the total duration was only approx. 24 hours out of what was supposed to be a 7-day test. They were also extremely rude. I then called APC and they stated they had no control over what PC charged. The woman I talked with, before looking at the notes in my son's file, said "well it's your fault, you should've called an told us there was an issue when it happened". I had to ask her to look at the notes, after which, she said, "oh well you did call, but it doesn't change anything, we don't have control over what they charge" I was expecting them to at least advocate and request that the charge be waived for us, but that request was denied completely. Since then, I've paid the $750 bill and lets just say I'm extremely bitter about it. I will never use them again. Horrible experience and I get the feeling that the relationship between APC & PS is a racket and fraudulent. Lastly, APC you should look into the reviews on Google for Preventice Services,1717 N. Sam Houston Pkwy W, Houston, TX 77038 and see what other customers are saying about their services. 2.2 stars! You may want to re-evaluate the type of company you are subjecting your patients to. If I could give a zero, I would. My children have been patients of Dr. Alhadheri for approximately 4 years. Their staff has been professional and attentive. Until today. When their office contacted me regarding an upcoming appointment, I asked if my non-patient child could come with me, since he cannot stay home alone. The receptionist on the other line spoke over me and told me she wasn't going to argue with me and hung up on me! I was very surprised! We really appreciate Dr. Alhadheri and the staff. He's incredibly caring with the kids, addresses parents' concerns well, and is just a pleasure to meet.

I’ve been taking my daughter here for four years. We moved from Kansas where she was told not to play sports but she wanted too. Dr. A listened to her and said play what you love but if you feel pain stop. I knew right there I found the doctor. He understood the hearts a muscle work it out. He made her high school years!! I cannot and never will be able to thank him enough seeing the smile on her face the past four years. If you want a caring, wonderful, and amazing cardiologist go here!! Great doctor that I highly recommend but the billing staff is horrible. After our most recent visit it took them about 20 months to send us the bill which is long after you can use your medical flex plan.

Take both my sons here and the dr is wonderful

Dr. Alhadheri is an amazing, intelligent, compassionate cardiologist. I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but I definitely hope this review will be seen by another parent dealing with the unknowns of a child with a heart condition. I don't think there can be a better doctor for a child. He educates the parents, he is thorough in his evaluation, he is sooooooo very nice (rare find in the doctor world), and he is compassionate. It can be tough not knowing what's going on with your child's heart, but when you have a doctor like this, all worry is diminished. What an amazing doctor! Please do not hesitate to put your child's health in the care of his hands. Dr. Alhadheri is an amazing, intelligent, compassionate cardiologist. Horrible. They gave me an appt on Phoenix location. Drive almost an hour when I get here there was no office. Horrible communication

This physician is so above and beyond what you could ever hope for! He is so skilled and compassionate- his staff is phenomenal! No one wants to need a cardiologist- but if you do, this is the one to go too. I have nothing but love and respect for him and his staff.

The best cardiologist on the planet! He has saved my daughter's life more than once. I wish he would see me. Love him and the staff.

Dr Alhadheri (pronounced All-hod-ry) is wonderful. He explains things very well to both the parent and the children. We've seen him for two of our kids, one is a young adult with developmental disabilities and the other is a preschooler; he was spectacular with both. His staff is friendly and patient, and super helpful.

Absolutely amazing physician! He spoke to my daughter (she is 14) and it meant so much to her that he included her in the care plan and explained everything so that she understood. Incredible bedside manner and his staff is equally efficient and kind. What a blessing this Dr. is to his patients and their families!

We have a 13 yr old son that has a complex medical history w/multiple diagnosis. A little over a year ago we were refered to him from our son's GI (Dr. Kolpuru) She felt his POTS/dysautonomia was severely impacting and exacerbating his health issues. Immediately Dr. Alhadheri was able to get him onto IV hydration & connect him with other specialists who could further help him. He is a outstanding POTS doctor, we travel from Tucson, AZ to see him. He is so encouraging and has a genuine care.

Dr Alhadheri is a treasure. He has been my son's cardiologist for 9 years. He is a caring, knowledgeable, compassionate man and a terrific doctor. We met him at the worst time in our life, when our newborn baby was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect. He guided us, reassured us, and cared for our son in the best possible way. With his care, our son's VSD is now repaired and not affecting him in any way. I cannot stress how essential it was for us to rely on his expertise and be conforted by his confidence and compassion. This Doctor is truly amazing! Such a wonderful personality, and knows everything about the cardiology field. We left very confident that we received the correct information, and would see him a year from now. Loved the visit. Would recommend him to anyone!

Kind and knowledgeable physician!! Definitely recommend him to anyone who is looking for a great pediatric cardiologist!! The check in girl, medical assistant and ultrasound tech were also very professional and everyone else there is amazing!

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Alhadheri - he is bright, compassionate and wonderful with children. He is the rare Doctor who is a leading expert in his field, yet still has a good bedside manner. A+++

He is a GREAT Doctor !!! I have no words for him we love him, he is kind and has great matters, caring for his patients and will sit there and explain to you all the results show you the images and he makes sure that you totally understand and if not he will answer all your questions. Great doctor and staff, easy to work with and flexible. Always need a Ped Cardiologist everywhere we go so happy to have found Dr. Alhadheri and staff.

Very nice experience with this doctor. I waited more than in the other pediatric office but it is so when they do ultrasound they need time. I recommend this office.

Dr. Alhadheri is an amazing doctor who is passionate about his work. He communicated during my sons appointments on the results from their heart scans - that are performed in themed rooms, i.e. a themed room for the EKG, Echo. My sons were explained the results of their scans by Dr. Alhaderi in a very fun and understandable manner. We wish all doctors were caring like him, and wish offices were equipped like his with the diagnostic tools onsite. Dr. Alhadheri is an amazing doctor who is passionate about his work. We saw Dr. Alhadheri today for my youngest and he was amazing! He made my 4 year old comfortable and explained everything to me in detail. The staff was so friendly and patient. We really had a great experience.

Doctor Shabib was excellent. The billing, however, has been a complete nightmare. Tried calling in December, January and February to pay my bill and they never processed the payment. Finally in April they processed my payment, but charged my card twice- once on the 4th and once on the 12th. Now I am trying to get one of them reversed and it continues to be a process. Lots of wasted time on the billing side. Would probably see a different doctor if needed in the future simply because of the significant amount of time wasted on the backside. My son has been seeing Dr. Adahderi for 3 years. He is a wonderful doctor and is very knowledgeable and thorough in all his exams. Sometimes the wait to see him can be a little long but with how much time he puts into every one of his patients it's easy to see why. We will continue to see him as long as my son has a need for his specialty. Thank you to the doctor and his staff that have taken care of my son and his heart! Dr. Shabib is just amazing! My son has gone to another cardiologist since 2 weeks old (he is now 9) and when our health insurance decided not to work with their practice anymore I had to find a new one. I am so glad we found Dr. Shabib. His office staff was courteous, organized, and efficient. We didn't have to wait too long to be seen. Everything was done in office. After my son's Echo was done, Dr Shabib himself came into the ultrasound room and showed us pictures of his heart on the computer screen while explaining to my son in words that he could understand what the findings were. His bedside manner was excellent! He was fun, caring, and compassionate. My insurance dropping my other doctor was a blessing in disguise! Dr. Shabib is just amazing!
