I'm very pleased with Dr. An. She has a good handle on my problem and is treating it satisfactorily.

Dr. An had an issue with me asking questions about a procedure she was about to perform on me. I was wondering why she was so upset and said she did not feel comfortable performing the procedure because of me asking her questions. Her assistant asked me to sign a paper before the procedure and I had questions about that as well. Dr. An felt some way about me asking questions about that when in the document it states have all my questions been answered. NO! And she always seem like she’s in a rush. The second worst experience ever with a doctor. I couldn’t recommend more highly to run from Dr. An as fast as you can. Seems completely uninterested in the patient. Poor/no follow up. Disorganized and seems checked out; maybe time for a career change? For a neurologist to demonstrate no empathy whatsoever for someone struggling with neurological deficits is not only disheartening but completely unacceptable. I would recommend Dr. An not even to my worst enemy, as no one deserves this.

Dr. An is personable, thorough and clearly knowledgeable in her area of specialization.

Very prompt for appointments. Dr. An and her MA are both very helpful, willing to take and answer questions. NO WASTED TIME.

My appointments with Dr. An have been perfect! She is extremely caring, knowledgeable and very easy to talk with. I love her and her staff.

Dr. An is one of the best. She is very organized and really cares about her patients heath. Her staff is freindly and very helpful. I would highly recommend Neurology Associates.

Have been dealing with migraines Dr An now has me down to 2-3 maybe a month with 1 injection a month an a round of shots every 90 days of botex an it has made thing some much better, Dr is great to work with

I have been seeing Dr An at Neurology Associates for about a year - she is sincerely a wonderful, knowledgeable, compassionate and awesome Doctor. I highly recommend her for all of these reasons and due to the fact that she does not give up, she cares about the journey and the answers / great doctor and the practice is top notch.

She was more interested in her laptop than me and my issues. She may have said 2 words the entire first visit and the second I pointed out how rude she was in the first. She gave me meds that have made me so fatigued that I can't do much (and I'd told her I needed to get moving to lose weight), made my eyes so blurry that I still could not see clearly even w/my glasses, and made my feet swell - all which were side effects of this med. She HAD to have known all this. When I called about the swelling she told me to see my GP when she was the one who prescribed the meds in the first place. Very unprofessional. She acted like she didn't care if she were rude or not..... In too much of a hurry to get to the next room.

Appointments are nearly always on time. I first met Dr. An when I was in the hospital. I had a reaction to a flu shot which turned out to be an inflammation of my spinal cord called transverse myelitis, a rare disease that only 1 in 14 million Americans get. Dr. An recognized what I had fairly quickly. She started medications almost immediately. Had she not have been so knowledgable and acted quickly, the disease could have progressed to paralyze me. Dr. An continues to follow up on my disease status in a caring, but professional manner.

Excellent. Dr. An was compassionate and thorough. I would highly recommend her.

Dr An is a blessings & life saver for me. My cognative functions were bad, starting to lost hope. Now with Dr An help life is much better. I will be indebted to her my whole life.

Update Go to SCOTT FECHTEL FOOTHILLS NEUROLOGY. 100% better treatments results and human being.Hadbeen treated by Dr An since moving here from back east. Have serious pain issues/migraines/ memory issues. Not very happy with Dr An on all aspects.couldnt Trust her judgments without hesitation. As good as you can find anywhere in Arizona see foothills neurology for fantastic dr FECHTEL! Update too many bad experiences and found a new neurologist who is one of the top drs and human beings I know. Helped my 100% non stop migraines. Helped my memory issues and pain issues. Would never use dr and office for anything again. Wasted my time always prescription problems. Offered me more drugs when I had to stop because my memory was gone. Asked do I want more ???. Left and never came back. Wow! She has seen my husband for the past 6 years. Very patient and caring. I would recommend her.

After having a blood clot in my leg and hematoma from blood thinners I could not lift my leg and it was numb outside and painful inside. After exams, nerve test, and MRI Dr. An was 100% sure it was caused by hematoma and suggested that the hematoma needed to be drained. Surgeon said he would never do that procedure. If he did I would bleed out and not survive the surgery. He also said the nerve problems had nothing to do with the hematoma anyway. All Dr. An wanted to do was to repeat the same tests again to see how much more nerve damage there was. Seriously??!! The worst part of this office is her assistant. AJ never responded to phone messages nor did the assistant that took her place. The new assistant didn't eve bother to change the voicemail that AJ had made. You can NEVER get a live person when you call the office and nobody returns calls. If you don't mind talking to a voicemail message system with no human communication, this is the place to go. FYI They don't respond to faxes from other doctor's offices either. Dr.An was impersonal, she came into the exam room and immediately sat down and started typing. Very rude. No eye contact, no hi how you, just typing as she asked me questions. (Like on a time limit) She was more concerned about giving me medications then really knowing what wrong with me Neurologically AND FIXING IT. I asked her IF she looked at my MRI's and all the symptoms I wrote down (hand written and delivered to her) she said no I haven't. I felt like this Doctor wanted nothing more than to push medications then REALLY "CARE" about the patient. Me. I have severe migraines with shake-like vibrations, severe head-pain, severe dizziness, poor balance, cognitive problems. Light sensitive and sound sensitive. "EVERYDAY"! I've lost numerous days of work. I was tested for seizures and epilepsy BUT ONLY AFTER I got upset because I told her that "this is a useless consult" "because all your trying to do is give me medications instead of figuring my health problems out!!!" Dr. An is highly knowledgeable, very focused and timely in administering medical care. I feel very lucky to have found her.

Dr An is a very friendly and excellent doctor. When I asked my questions she explained the answers in language I could understand and I was satisfied with her explanation. I trust Dr An and am happy she is close and near Chandler hospital as well.

She had no interest in treating me. Prejudice, laziness? She gave me minutes only. Was curt and abrupt. Asked questions and talked over my answers. Ordered tests of things I'd said weren't a problem. Didn't order images of what were problems. Gave answers I know to be false. Avoided explanations. After two visits she told me to go somewhere else. I was not treated. I was conned out of $1000. There are enough of her patience with these same complaints that a class action suite could be possible.

I've had Dr. An as my neurologist the entire time I've lived in Arizona and I think she is an excellent Dr. She is always thorough and makes sure I have my questions answered and she actually helped in getting me to another doctor when I was having some severe symptoms that I thought were neurological but weren't!!! The staff are also very nice!!!

Great Doctor

I've been through a lot of neurologists and I love Dr. An she is amazing. She takes time to listen and explains things do you understand them.

Dr An is highly professional and has a great personality. She kept us very well informed as to the reasons for our tests and treatments. She is very practical in her treatments. I would recommend her to anyone needing this type of care.

Dr An was thorough, listened carefully to my concerns and is in the process of helping us to deal with my problem of benign essential tremor. We would highly recommend her.

Dr. An is one of the most excellent doctors I have ever gone to. She spends time to get to know you and is very concerned about not only your physical well-being, but mental and emotional as well. I would recommend her to anyone!

Dr. An has always treated me with the utmost respect. Gives good explanations and is forthcoming with the possible outcomes of each problem. Seems involved with me during my visits and acts promptly to any immediate situation.

Doctor was very professional. She listened my concerns and ordered appropriate tests to find the cause of condition. Upon the completion of the tests she explain the results in manner that was understandable to me and my wife.

Dr An was great. She made sure all my tests and follow up was performed. I am very satisfied with her knowledge and expertise.

The staff was very friendly and courteous with the preliminaries for the visit with Dr. An The doctor listened very carefully, answered our questions and concerns, and evaluated the situation and then shared a plan of action.

Dr. An is wonderful. She is very knowledgeable and explains well. My case is challenging as I'm not insured. She takes this into consideration for my treatment. I would recommend Dr. An to anyone needing neurology care.

Dr An is not only very professional and knowledgeable but her bedside manner is comforting and patient. Her staff are attentive and area spotless. It can be stressful the reasons in which we find ourselves at Dr An's office but her, but she is excellent to help understand our situation. I am happy to be under her care and would highly recommend her.

Dr. An is very knowledgeable when it comes to MS. The office is nice/inviting and the staff very friendly. I would definitely recommend her to anyone needing a neurologist.

Dr. An respects my preference of minimal medications for my headaches. She is knowledgeable enough to offer suggestions that help me without a lot of medications.

Dr. An is thorough and always explains things clearly. She gets all the information before making recommendations. I appreciate her warmth and concern for my well being.

Had appt. 10/20 we talked about her kids and haloween, their ages & excitement. She schedules patients 2 every 15 minutes, not a lot of time. Always hear you are fine, I have MS. The next week I got REGISTERED letter saying she doesn't feel we are compatible as dr./patient, and she is releasing me from her practice. Called office mgr. he had no idea why. Why is it that these docs come from all over the world to get our education take our money then treat us like crap? Still have no answer.
