Dr. Andrea M Schindler

They have went down hill and do not want to take care of their patients because Dr Andrea Schindler retired.

Went in for a well visit. Dr.was ok. Answered questions she asked. Got billed for two visits because the questions I answered were considered “pre-existing conditions (asthma, etc.)

Northwest Medical group is my go to medical group. The staff is great and have been going to Dr. Schindler for many years and is an amazing doctor. Dr Schindler seems very focused on body weight. She is extremely thin herself and it seems she holds herself as the ideal. Even with exercise and healthy eating, people are just built differently. My main complaint is the office staff. They are horrible at relaying messages. After 3 attempts over a two week period, to get a change of medication and a referral to a specialist that she had suggested that I see but never sent to me, I gave up and moved on to a different dr. She often runs an hour or more late to the scheduled appt. so plan on setting aside a half a day to see her.

Dr Schindler listens, respects, and administers her vast knowledge in a warm friendly manner.

A good listener who respects the preferences of a patient. She is extremely diligent at trying to maintain maximum health. I trust her comepletely.

I love Dr. Schindler! She is very caring, listens to my concerns, and promptly schedules all tests. She has a great bedside manner. I would highly recommend her to anyone. She was also great in calming me down when I needed it most.

Dr. Schindler accused me of "pretending" to have an eating disorder for attention. She refused to look into any of ailments I was experiencing, and gave me no suggestions, guidance, or referrals. Nobody deserves to be shamed for the state of their mental or physical health. I'm now under the care of another physician and going to great lengths to amend the issues I have with my body. Dr. Schindler's reckless and callous evaluation was enough to put any mental health patient at risk.

Dr Schindler has been our PCP for 19 years... we have always relied on her judgment and have never been disappointed. Dr Schindler's "beside manners" are fantastic - she is a warm and caring individual who can be stern when necessary! The office staff reflects Dr Schindler's professionalism and caring attitude... they follow up with phone calls re: test results, questionable issues, obtain or deliver whatever information is in order.
