If I could choose no stars I would. This man left me terrible disfigured. I had a breast reduction in 2018 and I am still in constant pain. My breasts look like he used a razor to cut them up, the scars under my breasts are totally different, the are so far from even and look frightening! Everything is uneven. I cannot find a bra to fit me because they are at the least one cup size different. There r folds of skin sticking out between my breasts that are so ugly. I will never b able to date again and I've come to realize I will always b alone for the rest of my life after this doctor ruined my life!!!!!

This supposed surgeon only seemed interested in how much money he could get from my insurance and my "co-pays". He did the procedure improperly 2 times and shuffled me in and out of the office quickly saying everything was fine, when it obviously wasn't. Too bad I can't give a negative star rating. Check out all the other reviews and it's easy to understand why this practice is so poorly reviewed. I would advise anyone needing these services to seek out another provider. Dr Alfaro removed a cyst I had on my shoulder ten years ago. I have had the worst scar and pulling for all these years. He was very arrogant and didn't listen very well. I also had a mole removed between my eyebrows that has a scar as well. The scars that I have shouldn't exist having been created by a plastic surgeon. While he was preparing my forehead for surgery, the iodine began to get into my eyes, when I went to wipe my eyes, he told me hands down and wouldn't listen to me. I was uncomfortable and not happy. I was young, 25, at the time and never been to a plastic surgeon for anything. Knowing what I know now, and his history, I wouldn't return. From the first moment I met the team at the Rosemont location I knew I had found the care I had been lacking. I recommend this office 100%.

If I could pick zero I would. This man ruined my life. I was supposed to get a breast reduction and lipo and a lift, but I was left disfigured, in pain and more depressed than before my surgery! My breasts look NOTHING like an average breast, I wasn't looking for perfection, but I at least wanted normal looking breasts. His bedside manner is just awful. He is a rude, interupting, cold man. He absolutely refuses to even admit he screwed my breasts up. He refuses to fix them. He had the nerve to tell me 'you shouldn't look at before and after pics on my website anymore. You need to accept how your breasts look now'!!!!!!!! That was the closest he came to admitting he made a HUGE mistake on my breasts. I would NEVER recommend him to anyone, not even an enemy!!!! Please don't go to this man!

My breast reduction surgery was in 2017 and it is now April 2020 and I still experience daily pain, paresthesia, and daily sadness and depression over how my breasts look. They are completely lopsided, misshapen, and my scars are so jagged it looks like a person cut me ragged with a dull knife. I have nerve damage that causes me to fluctuate between numbness, pain, and sever itching that can't be stopped, and tenderness from having a high sensitivity level (sometimes wearing a t-shirt causes me horrible discomfort). Because of the shape of my breasts I am no longer able to wear bras that have cup shapes, and because of the pain and sensitivity I cannot wear any elastic that rubs or squeezes on my scars. Dr. Alfaro was also not friendly or comforting toward me in anyway during my consultations, and during my follow up exams he dismissed my excruciating pain, anxiety, and concerns by offering to perform a second procedure in his office for $500 cash.

This so called doctor left me totally maimed after what was supposed to be a breast reduction and a lift. My left incision is not in the crease beneath my breast, but in my upper abdomen. My right incision is way to high. My nipples are uneven, different sizes and shapes. I have ugly folds of skin between my breasts that stick out and feel terrible. I could go on and on......

He was very rude to my sister who has scarring from a scald as a child. He coldly told her he couldn't do anything for her.

Had a breast reduction in 2015, noticed i had an area that was not closing properly and was told "its normal." I still have trouble with it and its 2018!

If i could give 0 stars I would. My dear friend went to see him for reconstructive surgery after a double mastectomy. He was horribly rude to her, disrespectful, and made her feel very violated. He was in the room alone with me which was totally unacceptable! I would NOT recommend this surgeon to anyone.

I had a breast reduction and I am not pleased with the results, aesthetic wise. My areolas are different shapes, one is oval, the other is round. The nipple in the oval areola is not in the center. The scarring is bad too as if he used a blunt razor to cut me up. He is also uncomfortable to talk to and always rushing things.

I had three hand surgeries with Dr. Alfaro. I'm very pleased with the results. I had minimal scaring.I would recommend him to anyone looking to get surgery
