My wife has called multiple times and also has left voicemails. She’s been kept on hold over 60 mins once and they never respond. My wife is a patient here and she’s been needing care. Honestly just fed up and want to change doctors. Very very Long hold times!

I mystified at the one star ratings. I found Dr. kulkarni to be very knowledgeable and empathetic. He listened when I explained the problems I was having, and he’s the only one who found the answer. I immediately changed my gastroenterologist to him. I think he is an excellent physician and I will continue to go to him.

Dr. Kulkarni pretty much saved my husband's life by diagnosing a rare disease and referring him to a doctor that could treat it.

Very caring front office everytime I was there. Had two procedures done and all went very well. Very clean and organized office and surgical rooms. Dr. Kulkarni is wonderful, a good listener and very compassionate and understanding. Glad I did my research and chose him and his staff....ty

Waited 90 min on dr. At end of day appointment. Then he didn't even have all the test results on file. But lab office now closed, so too late. If he saw me at the scheduled time there would have been time to get the results. Also, does he not check his patients' records before appointments make sure he has all the test results? I've been waiting 2 weeks to find out if i have cancer. The appointment was specifically to talk about the test results. I also have to travel 1 hour to see him...all wasted because he didn't make sure he had results. At least they didn't charge me for the visit! Waited 90 min on dr. At end of day appointment. I have been trying to simply get a little information to schedule an appointment, the lady who answers the phone (denise) is so rude and disrespectful, acts like I'm bothering her by having her do her job and find out simple information about my insurance, she started talking slow like i was incompetent......she put me on hold when i asked to speak with someone who could help me and let me sit there and now will not pick up the phone. rude office staff, if you can get past them, good luck! Wait times can be long but the care and time the doctor invests in the patient is worth the wait!!!

A very professional environment . Dr.Kulkarni was spending appropriate amount of time explaining and following up the procedure. Great team!

Dr. Kulkarni is amazing. I have been disappointed by other gastroenterologist but he has and is going above and beyond to help me. He is curious and realizes everyone doesn't fit a certain mold. He is trying everything he can to find the source of my problem and he listens to what I have to say. He is caring and so far has been a god send in my search for answers. If you have a complex case I suggest going to see him, because he will keep searching to try to find the problem.

Very bad billing practices. My insurance company shows I do not owe them anything, my insurance company has explained to them I do not owe them anything, and yet the have sent my account to a collection agency that placed it on my credit. I advised the agency of the issue and they have been trying to get in contact Southern Gastro. Also I have sent the agency the documents from my insurance company and they state it would be like trying to argue with your parents you just dont do it. Not sure what to do at this point...... Consult- seemed focused on showing med student what to do than helping me. Upper Endoscopy- Prepped for procedure, waited over 90 min while he discussed summer plans etc. Post procedure: Ketamine Ataxia I was put into my daughter's car while yet unable to move due to the ketamine anesthesia, despite my protests. I was retrieved to finish recovering for additional 1.5 hours insisting on being given water to help process out the anesthesia. Very scared.Follow up not included in procedure costs

Good doctor,at first but now my wife cannot get anywhere with him or his office.she is still in pain and it is like they just do not care.Endoscopy,colonoscopy,cat scan,MRI.and still no conclusion,I swear they just make you go thru all this to just get money.
