I never even made it to the appointment because the scheduler was so rude. She asked me for my address and when I gave it to her she actually had the nerve to say to me “ slow down. you know your address I don’t” in the most condescending and rude voice I have ever heard in my life. If this is what a scheduler here at this doctor is like I’d hate to see what the doctor and office staff are. No thanks, I’ll take my insurance somewhere else and find another doctor. I will never recommend anyone here. Complete waste of time and money. I’ve interacted with many physicians and doctors, and she is by far the worst doctor I have ever met. Does not listen to her patients, and doesn’t seem to care. No one in that office seems to care. I had a procedure done by her, and found out I had a bacteria associated with ulcers. Very painful. I was prescribed three different medications. Two of those which made me extremely sick- almost worst and I threw them up every time. Of course I called in to explain what was going on. I was told that those side effects wasn’t normal and to stop taking them immediately. The lady on the phone explained to me that she will speak to Dr. Rutledge and give me a call back about different options.Two days later I received a call back, only to tell me to continue taking all the medications even if I’m having those side effects. She was not only rude, but the conversation felt rushed and she kept interrupting me as I spoke. I don’t understand why I will continue taking something that I can’t even hold down? Especially when I was told that it wasn’t normal in the beginning. All and all it was a terrible experience. I’m just glad I know what’s going on with my stomach so I can take my records to an actual specialist. I will never recommend anyone here. Complete waste of time and money. Dr. Rutledge did my colonoscopy and she made a scary experience pleasant. Very professional and knowledgeable!

Office reception area clean and quiet;and staff are very respectful.My visit with Dr. Rutledge was very thorough and I’d recommend her to anyone/everyone with gastro issues.

Dr. Rutledge has taken care of me for years. I would not think of going to any other doctor. She is very professional and caring. She explains my condition in terms I can understand and is very thorough.

She is the best!!

Although she appeared caring and attentive, as soon as I asked her questions, she seemed annoyed and almost defensive. I am not sure she was well versed in my GI issues but instead of just saying that she wanted me to have yet another procedure??

Dr. Rutledge did my colonoscopy. She was running extremely late for the consultation and I was upset over that. However, she still took time to sit and discuss all of my questions and concerns and did not rush me. The day of the procedures, the staff was very attentive to my needs and comfort. Everything ran right on time. If I ever do this again, I will go back to her.

Dr. Rutledge performed my colonoscopy. Her schedule is tight so my appointment was scheduled over 2 months out. A questionable polyp was detected during my colonoscopy. Dr. Rutledge moved my results appt to an earlier date sshe could advise me of the results ASAP. Although she had to refer me to a surgeon and oncologist, her staff followed up immediately and had me scheduled to see the other doctors the next day. Dr. Rutledge even called me the day before surgery to see if I had questions .

What a terrible experience. What an insane waste of time. The ER recommended me to her after having stabbing pains in my abdominal area for a few days, to which I thought may be an ulcer. After waiting an hour and a half, she came in, poked and prodded on my stomach, which hurt terribly, gave me a smile and told me she'd be back in a minute. When she came back she simply said that I probably ate something bad and I should just stick it out to the end of the week and I'd probably feel better. MY MOTHER COULD'VE GIVEN ME A BETTER ANSWER. Dr. Rutledge seemed less concerned with me and my treatment as she did with getting the billing correct and ensuring I had paid beforehand. She was polite, and she always smiled. However, I never felt fully informed of what to expect, or what I was supposed to do other than pay in advance. Based on her behavior, I felt I was the lowest thing on her priority list.
