Very disappointed with this doctor - went to him for over a year for chronic knee pain. He said he would try a few small treatments before insurance would cover an MRI - at my last appointment he did not order the MRI but blamed my pain solely on my weight, going so far as to tell me I needed permanent weight loss surgery. I love how Dr. Axelrod is straight to the point with straight answers. If you want a DR who will not give you the go around but actually put your wellness first and be Honest.... he is who you want to see. He was the second orthopedist I saw for my distal radius wrist fracture and the only I could trust to maneuver my hand and do what he needed to get me better. Great bedside manner!
