Dr Beck and his office are terrible to work with. After waiting over an hour for my appointment I was put in a room only to wait another 55 minutes. He is rude and short with his patients. He doesn't care to hear what you have to say. I understand that a doctor may run behind but it would be courteous to let me know when I get there. If I show up an hour late they would make me reschedule and still charge me for the appointment yet he doesn't care how long anyone else has to wait. Dr Beck and his office are terrible to work with. Excellent experience with an ACL reconstruction. Back to skiing, cycling and other activities I love.

He's the best! He's done numerous surgeries for us. The whole staff is amazing. We're so grateful for his expertise!!

Dr. Beck repaired a torn Meniscus and Cartilage in April 2001!. He is a Calm Detailed Excellent Doctor!. 1999 below After I walked around on it for twenty eight months. It was really swollen & the pain I was going threw couldn't care less I had previously gone to Dr.David J. Petron who said I had nothing more than Bone on Bone & arthritis Plus I was psychosomatic. For which he is in itself Is incompetent as a doctor. Dr. CHARLES BECK JR. REPAIRED MY PSYCHOSOMATIC tendencies in my knee in April 2001 that Dr. Petron stated was my imagination in a legal document to a Utah State Judge. Excellent care and I highly recommend Charles Beck and staff.

Dr. Beck is by far one of the most excellent Orthopedic Surgeons I have every had operate on me. In fact, he has done all my operations! Knowledgeable, thoughtful, professional, I could go on and on.

Highly recommend Dr. Beck. The office staff, techs, PAs were all very nice and professional. Dr. Beck was great and took the time to over over my xrays and MRI and explain the injury. He answered all my questions and didn't seem rushed. I was a new patient there and they had squeezed me in to the schedule as I was there for a 2nd opinion. Great experience! Great great experience here. Dr Beck and all of his staff are so through, professional, right to the point and just down right nice people. Advice given and plan proposed for my knees suited my needs as an athlete were perfect. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dr. Beck and his staff take care of you like you are their only patient, even though I'm sure they are very busy. I am very grateful that I found them after the injury to my knee. Dr. Beck is an outstanding doctor/surgeon. After visiting him twice and taking x-rays, I decided to have my left knee replaced. His office was able to schedule my surgery within three weeks. The surgery took place at the Lone Peak Hospital and I was sent home the next day. Dr. Beck, his staff, and the hospital employees were wonderful. He is an excellent surgeon who went over everything I would be going through both pre and post surgery. Would I return to Dr. Beck? Yes! I was walking without help after the first 10 days and I walked straight. Big accomplishments that let me know I had picked the right doctor. Dr. Beck is an outstanding doctor/surgeon. Dr Beck has preformed surgery on both my shoulders and hopefully will be around to do my knees when that time comes. I felt heard when I asked my questions. Dr. Beck did my rotator cuff surgery 4 years ago On my right shoulder and it still feels amazing. He is skilled and very knowledgeable. I trust and recommend him.

One of the best Orthopedic Surgeons in Utah. He explains things well and is straight forward. His staff are all wonderful as well.

Dr Beck has been my “go to” Ortho Doctor for 20+ years. From knee surgeries, knee replacements, and many shoulder surgeries. Never a “just cut” Doctor, he has always had my interests and future health always first and foremost. Seeing him have deep emotions from an accident I had with a wave in Hawaii, he moved forward in finding that final fix that would allow me to have full use of my shoulder. Dr Beck did left knee repair 4/01. I stopped breathing!. He went into action brought me back!.This was bone on bone and a meniscus tear. Which Dr Petron at the U of U call it Just Bone on Bone & He told a Utah Court I was Psychosomatic!. When Beck did my knee in 2001. I was in a Roll over in January 1999 tear my knee an it swell to two grapefruit Yet he had No compassion or understand Yes his Total Incompetents caused me extremely bad pain until I found Dr. Charles Beck Jr. So Charles you've given my knee 20 yrs plus on this same knee you are a true Dr. Of Medicine. In 2010 & 11 he repaired both shoulders and my right knee. His opinion caused me to lose my job of 35 yrs on my shoulders. I didn't agree but he had my best interest in mine. I suffered at first but I retired and my life has been better except the $. Seven thousand a month working, To 3700 sitting. Amazing surgeon.

Dr. Beck has done three surgeries on me, including a total knee replacement in Jan. 2019. He's a wonderfully skilled surgeon, and I appreciate his straightforward approach. I highly recommend him for any kind of knee or shoulder surgery. He's helped me with my bad knees for years and has always provided me with the latest options for treating knee pain and injuries. I've been to about a dozen different orthopedic surgeons throughout the years, and he's my favorite by far. His PA and the staff at CORE are also wonderful to work with. My father has been calling for a week straight all within business hours and could get a hold of no one he was and is in pain with his knee and simply wanted an appointment!!! How can you make one when no one answers???!!!!! Maybe you need a new office secretary one that can do her job!!!!! Just a bit of friendly advice!!!!!!

Dr Beck has done two surgeries on my husband. Both were very serious and super tricky. Dr Beck went tbe extra mile and my husband went through the complicated surgeries & recovery with flying colors. Thank YouDr Beck, you are the best!

I have had great experiences when going to Dr.Beck and his PA Bob, both have always been super nice and caring going the extra mile to answer all my questions, and make me feel comfortable. I had double knee surgery in December of 2016 and they were awesome.

Dr. Beck has been amazing. While is not always warm and fuzzy, he is an a highly skilled doctor.

Two ankle reconstructions, one knee scope, one shoulder reconstruction and last, a total knee replacement. Dr. Beck is the best! Thank you for keeping me upright and pain free!

I am very happy with the care that Dr. Beck and his PA has given me. I have annual shots in my knees which are bone on bone. They have been very personal and supportive. I recommend them highly.

Dr. Beck replaced both my knees, at different times, in 2013. I would never consider another doctor for this kind of surgery. That's not saying there are not other great orthopedic docs out there, but I had a really great experience with my knee replacements. I was never in any bad pain and worried about the pain before hand because of my low pain tolerance. I lol when I read some of these comments about his bed side manners. I always appreciated his honesty and his caring nature. I talked football with him that I instigated the conversation. I'm sure he is thinking about the medical perspective and that's what I want. If you want a buddy go to a social. No complaints from me. Yes sometimes you wait a while, but that happens in a doctor's office. I never waited any longer to see Dr. Beck then I wait for my family doctor. Thanks Dr. Beck....I walk 8 miles a day 4 to 5 times per week with no pain whatsoever. Dr Beck may be a great Dr, I just wouldn't know. After he kept me waiting for 1 1/2 hr I had to reschedule with another Dr. The least he could have done is have someone come and explain the problem or apologize. But I got nothing!

Dr Beck did both of my ACL reconstructions. He is a phinominal surgeon and genuinely cares about his patients. I wouldn't have gone back if he wasn't the best.

I had a torn labrum in both shoulders, and saw a few surgeons before Dr. Beck. None of the surgeons I saw really knew how to fix the tear because it was an abnormal tear that is not seen very often. I was referred to Dr. Beck by another surgeon at Jordan Valley Health. Dr. Beck did both shoulders, and I have recovered really well. When I first met with Dr. Beck he looked at the MRI and knew exactly what to do. Other surgeons wanted to graft the bone, which means they would have to cut the bone, and that never grows back. Dr. Beck said it would not be necessary and explained everything with confidence. Because Dr. Beck is a good surgeon he is in high demand, thus you may have trouble getting an appointment within a month or so, and you may have to wait a little longer for surgery because he is booked. But if you want a good doctor, that is the price to pay. I would rather wait a little longer and have it done right then go to an inferior surgeon. I'm surprised by the negative reviews. If you're looking for someone to sugar coat it for you then he may not be your guy. I appreciate his honesty. Dr/ Beck did a shoulder replacement for me and removed the torn meniscus in my knee. I wouldn't even consider another orthopedic surgeon. He's the best.

At first, Dr. Beck seemed to be a very good and understanding doctor. After my total knee replacement everything went down hill. Dr. Beck stopped listening to my concerns and basically told me the pain and lack of motion I was experiencing was all in my head. After my last visit I decided to go get a second opinion.

Excellent surgeon! I was apprehensive about knee replacements, but surgery and recovery went well. He was very attentive during the hospital stay as is his PA Bob. Almost a year since surgery and I am so glad I went through with it. While Dr. Beck is not the easiest Dr.to get into he is definitely worth the wait.

Dr. Beck did a knee replacement for me in March, 2014. My recovery was excellent and I am so confident in his skills that I'm having him do the knee surgery for my other knee in March 2015. There was surprisingly little pain. Dr. Beck performed surgery on my wife's shoulder and knee and my son has been doing follow up visits with his tricky knee. I think Dr. Beck is a good doctor with the proper skills but his bedside manners are extremely poor. Yesterday, my wife came home from a follow up with my son's knee in tears. She could not believe the way she was treated. She waited for 45 till he finally walked in and he did not even know if he was in the room seeing her or him. After treating her poorly he got mad saying he could not answer further questions because she was making him late to his next appointment of which he was 45 min late to meet with her. The visit was a waste of our time and money. Overall, without giving details, this most recent experience is forcing us to seek a new doctor. I tore my ACL and most of the Meniscus in my left knee in 2005. Dr. Beck was my doctor, and he was absolutely wonderful. My knee has worked perfectly ever since. Because my knees naturally hyper-extend, he even made sure that when he fixed my ACL that I was returned to my original level of flexibility in my knee. Thank you Dr. Beck for everything!
