Dr. Daniel Hugh Collector

I have been a patient of Dr. Collector's for 20 years now. I wouldn't consider going to anyone else. He is a great diagnostician and always recommends the best treatment plan. He spends the necessary time explaining things in a language we can all understand.

I've been seeing Dr Collector for many years and he has always taken the time to listen to me as if I'm his only patient he has.

I have been a patient of Dr. Collectors since he started his practice years ago and know him to a very good Doctor who is very caring, personable and very concerned about his patients & being sure there understand his diagnosis. Over the years he has cared for several of my family members & friends who think the world of him too !

A friend raved about Dr. Collector over a decade ago but since I was happy with my PCP, I simply made note and when my doctor retired, I was lucky he was taking new patients. Quite simply, Dr. Collector saved my life. He made sure I came in promptly when there was a serious issue, he treated me in every interaction with the best of both medical and human care, and always explained things in a way I could understand. He is efficient but I never feel rushed. He used to be 10 minutes away but I am happy to triple my commute time to continue to count on him for the best of care. I tell everyone I can about how wonderful he is and refer all my loved ones to him if they need a second opinion or are looking for a new/better PCP.

Dr. Collector is caring, compassionate and genuinely cares about his patients. I will follow Dan wherever he goes. He has the most professional and personal bedside manner and will go to the extremes to advocate and care for his patients.

My son and I been with Dr. Collector for years. He is amazing and like others mention he is more than a doctor, he is a friend. I'm so glad we found him again.

I have been with Dr. Collector for about 25 yrs and now 4 locations. I think he is amazing. He takes the time to listen and looks at me not the computer. He is more than my doctor, he is a friend. I won't go anywhere else.

Dr. Collector is outstanding! I have been his patient for many years. I have driven a long distance to his practice because he is definitely worth it. He is kind, considerate, caring, attentive, very intelligent, very astute in diagnosing and very effective in treating my various health issues, and very clear in explaining all of it. I couldn't ask for a better physician. My wife has heard me praise him for many years; so when her doctor recently retired and she wanted another great doctor, she decided to go to Dr. Collector. I'm sure that upon her first visit very soon she will respect and appreciate him as much as I do.

I was told by Dr Kochman to go to Dr Collector which I did when Dr Kochman passed away. It was the best advice I had ever been given. He listens to you and you are not just a number to him. He truly cares about you. I am so very fortunate to have him as my Primary Care Dr. I will follow him where ever he goes!

My husband and I have been seeing Dr. Collector since Dr. Kochman passed away in 2013. We absolutely loved Dr. Kochman but have been equally happy with Dr. Collector. It saddens us however that he is now in Rosedale vs Lutherville as we are in PA and we just cannot make the drive to Rosedale. Dr. Collector will truly be missed.

The best or probably second to none

The best primary physician anyone could hope to have, he had been mine for the last 20 yrs. His professional manor and medical knowledge, background and experience have made him one of the top physicians in Maryland. I wish him the absolute best and in his new endeavors and hope our paths will cross again I surely will miss you, thanks Dr. C!! Tim....

I was in shock and saddened to be told Dr. Collector and Dr. D were no longer at Lutherville. We’ve been with them for over 20 years - since they had their private practice at Padonia. I can’t imagine seeing anyone else and don’t want to. If anyone hears anything please post here. TY!

I called to make an appointment with Dr. Collector and was advised he is no longer with the practice. That upset me so much I just cried. It took me a very long time, almost a year, before I made to decision to go to Dr. Collector. I have only been his patient for a little over a year. He is a great doctor, very personable and I really liked him.

I certainly would, he is the best provider I ever come across. Need to find where he is practicing now. He is so kind, takes his time and really listens when you talk to him. Miss him dearly

Dr. Collector is not only my primary care physician he is family. He has been my physician for over 33 years. I became one of his patients when he just started out and to this day have never had one regret. I hope he is still in practice and have definitely heve to find where that practice is. I have been seeing Dr. Collector for over 20 years as well. He is like family to me. I do not want to go to any other doctor. I cried when I heard he wasn't with the practice anymore. I am desperatly looking for him as well.

I think all of Dr. C's patients are desperately looking for him right now. I won't go to anyone else, so I hope we find him soon.

He is one of the Best. We have been his patients going on 20 years. He is everything one needs In a doctor, caring, sincere, listens to concerns. Knowledgeable, helps educate us on complicated issues, up front so we understand our medical condition. He speaks to you, not at you. Warm friendly personality. Greats DR. I've ever had need to fine him ASAP. Went to mercy today could not be seen because the doctor they set me up with does not take my insurance. So need to find him as soon as he hangs out his shingle. I've been with DR.C. FOR OVER 20 YEARS NEED TO FIND HIM.

I have been thru so many bad GPs that I was starting to give up.. really glad I switched over to Dr. Collector. He is so friendly and respectful. Great communication on MyChart, too, which is awesome.

Dr Collector is a gem. He was my wife's doctor when we married and thankfully I switched to him. He is so attentive during appointments that I even asked him a few times if he needed to hurry or move on. He is extremely thorough and helped us deal with a wide variety of issues over time. We have relocated way out of state and we were so sad to lose him as our doctor. He is positive and understanding with effortless compassion. I can't recommend him highly enough!
