Although once you see the doctor, you are given their full attention, the time it takes to see here is absolutely ridiculous. After giving her a few chances, and having waited over 3 hours to get seen (2 of them sitting undressed in the exam room (mortifying!), I've given up. There are too many other options out there. I even tried to get the first appt. so I wouldn't have to wait and that didn't work either.

A front desk staff older Caucasian lady is not a business asset . My experience in person and in the phone — this staff comes across arrogant the way she handles clients she does not have an ounce of caring attitude . She talk too fast assuming person on the other side of the phone can follow her thought process. She is methodical seems doing her job for a while but simply do not have the personality compatible for a front desk or telephone business deals . She needs to go for re-training . My doctor is amazing she has taken care of me for over 15 years. Patty her office manager is top notch.

She takes time to learn about you as a patient. She doesn't want to miss a detail that might impact your health or the underlying cause for whatever symptoms brought you there in the first place. I always feel rejuvenated and positive after an appointment, I just know that my issue, or whatever illness, or general health Will improve, healing is on the horizon.

I drove today at this location, around 1:00 pm, after I believe I had a panic attack; usually, a panic attack comes and goes but I was still shaking, sweating, and feeling pressure on my chest and and I couldn’t breath normally. I drove there because I was home alone and it was the closest medical facility- I had to drive less than 10 minutes. I have been told that the location is not a walk in location and even though my doctor , Dr. Meltzer was there she cannot see me. I hoped that, the person from the register, will talk to a nurse to check my pulse or blood pressure to make sure there is nothing serious that could put in danger my life. After a while, even though ai started feeling dizzy, I left the location; the person from the register didn’t bother to talk to my doctor or to someone; she told me that she can schedule an appointment for the next day; from there I drove to the closest Patient First location . They made an EKG which didn’t show something, but, they said that my heart rate was up to sky and I need to go to an emergency room. The front desk are horrible nothing I have seen in my life is worse than that

this woman does NOT listen! Repeatedly told her about my allergies and she still prescribed a medication that I cannot take! I agree w/the above post concerning the demeanor of the staff, (rude and abrupt on the phone!).

As others have said, the receptionist I have dealt with is rude and short with patients. The worst experience I had there was when I was getting an EKG and the technician opened the door wide open to leave and wheel the large machinery out while I still had my shirt off. Completely unacceptable.

Office staff is rude and condescending. Sat in office listening to the terrible way they spoke to patients over the phone and found them to be abrupt and rude to me, as well. Incredibly long wait-- 2 hours!! And, the doctor does not LISTEN! Repeatedly said there was an allergy to certain drugs, which she then prescribed, ignored my concerns, and generally just didn't listen to me. Cancelled follow up appointment. Will not return. Wait times are horrendous. Obviously, front office does not know how to schedule. Sit for 1.5 hours at least. Too many others to go to.

While I like the doctor, there is a lot to be said about her front desk staff. Not matter what you have wrong your call is fielded thru this person . This being said half the time you never get a call back because you are not even sure the doctor even gets the message. Not to mention her lack of care and personal judgment.

If I could give no stars, I would. I had an appt for 2pm, arrived 15 minutes early as they asked, and left at 4:45 after not even being seen by the doctor. They told me I could wait to be seen and that this was the usual wait time for this doctor. This is not practical for me. I also waited for a month for this appt that (I didn't even go to).

Wonderful...thorough.....caring and wonderful. Unfortunately everyone knows this....so the wait time is a bit crappy. But shes worth it...

Waited 1 HOUR AND 20 MINUTES in the waiting room, with no end in sight- so finally just walked out. There was no update on how much longer I would be waiting, no explanation, no apology, etc. Just an offer to reschedule for another date, for which they could not guarantee there would not also be greater than a 1.5 hour wait. It's not a specialist stuck in an emergency surgery....it's just a routine inconsiderate wait with no viable explanation. No thanks. I've seen Dr. Meltzer for many years, and she is the BEST. She's an outstanding doctor who has been there for me through some very difficult medical crises. No practice is perfect, and yes, there is a long wait time. That's because she really pays attention to her patients, and never rushes through an appointment. That kind of attention is worth the wait! Over the years, I also got to know her staff, primarily Patty and Sandy. They are also lovely people who have taken good care of me. I love Team Meltzer. :) I've seen Dr. Meltzer for many years, and she is the BEST. She's an outstanding doctor who has been there for me through some very difficult medical crises. Wasted time off work tried to call and see if she was on time but lazy reception won't answer the phones . They should pay us for the time we miss like we get charged. Fair is fair but nothing is fair! Pick up the GD PHONE AND DO YOUR JOB!!!! ITS A GOOD THING SHE IS SUCH A GOOD DOC ITS RHE INLY RWASON ILL BE BACK. THANKS!

Too long of a wait time ( over 2hour) Receptionist put you on hold without anyone in office I sat and watched them put off phone calls they could have answered. I drove from work to office on hold!wen I got there they were talking to each other I then called from back room n was put on hold again while they chatted more walking right by me on the phone on hold and they could care less! I like Dr. Meltzer but she is too hard to get an appointment. Also I am always put on hold for long periods when trying to make an appointment. And Sandy a receptionist is extremely rude and should be taken off the phones. I will be changing doctors just to be able to get in the door and receive decent customer service. Also they lost a blood draw request twice and I had to call back several times to get it. Also I requested another doctor get blood draw results and the lab inside Dr. Meltzer's office never sent it. This happens a lot. I like Dr. Meltzer but she is too hard to get an appointment. Also I am always put on hold for long periods when trying to make an appointment. She is personal, listens, takes time with you, does not push, is open to dialogue. She returns calls during off-hours, calls in prescriptions in a timely manner.
