Literally impossible to get anyone to answer the phone at this facility. Elaborate maze of automated phone extensions just to have to leave a message that will not be returned. Horrible turn around for results, Horrible nurse who called and hung up on me. Run away as fast as you can.

Saw Dr. Auerbach on a consultation referral. Professional yet friendly. Knows his stuff! Readily answered questions I had. Staff moved me quickly from vision test to test as doctor ordered them. Very thorough exam. Staff was friendly and professional. Appt started 20 minutes late but once in everything moved quickly.

We have been seeing Dr. Auerbach for years and have full confidence in his treatments. He has never disappointed. Sometimes he has been running late because of surgery but always comes in with a smile on his face and an apology. His staff is efficient and friendly and patient.

My husband arrived 10 minutes early for his appointment with Dr Auerbach - after 40 minutes he asked how much longer he was going to be and Lindsay (the very rude and abrasive office manager) told him they were busy with an emergency - they put him in a room (to shut him up) and took his glasses to be assessed but then came in and informed him, he wouldn't be seeing Dr Auerbach, but whoever he was seeing was still going to be another hour after which time, he got up and said "He also has a business to run and his time is money too!' and he left. I must add that we've both been using this office for over 20 years. I also had an experience with Dr Auerbach who was very dismissive and had a horrible bedside manner - actually got annoyed when I couldn't keep my eye open for him to put a needle in my tear duct....I eventually did, but he had absolutely NO patience - that's the end of us using this office - we will be finding a new eye dr for us and all our friends and family.

Not a chance that I would recommend Dr Auerbach. He is hack who looks at patients as revenue sources not people.

My original appointment time was rescheduled for later in the day. The place was packed! Part of the procedure is to sign a COVID waiver and masks are required. Any safety protocols end there. I don't know why they didn't just reschedule for another day instead of doubling up patients. My other doctors, even my hairdresser, has you text on arrival and they tell you when to enter the building. This place had the waiting room jammed so I sat near the registration desks, which had the chairs separated at least. Soon people were standing all around me waiting for their appointments, too. Do not go to Auerbach if you are having visual problems. I went to see him in April after experiencing double vision. He sent me for a blood test and a brain MRI. Both came back negative. Then I had to wait six weeks to see him again. He asked me if I had any more double vision episodes. I replied no. He then looked in my eyes and said: "You cured yourself." I asked how that happened. Auerbach replied: "I have no idea." Auerbach should go back through his ophthalmology residency because he did not learn anything the first time. I consider him to be incompetent and would not allow him to put a band-aid on my finger. He was in the exam room with me at the most 2 minutes. Amazing staff and Dr. Auerbach is kind, knowledgeable and caring. I’ve been a patient for years :)

He inserted a lens crooked but waited 3 years to tell me. State of Florida allows only 2 years to sue for medical malpractice. He was joking with the anesthetist during the surgery.

I have been going to Eye Physicians of Central Florida seeing Dr Auerbach for over 10 years. I couldn't be happier with my care. The office is the best run medical office I have ever been to. Dr Auerbach and his support staff are knowledgeable and attentive. When I was having problems with my vision, they spent hours patiently working to find a solution - and they did! I highly recommend for everything from regular vision checkups to cataract surgery and eye diseases.

Nice staff and assistants but the doctor is like always in a hurry. The assistant asked my wife for all the symptoms she has, but in the end the doctor never said anything about them, besides everything looks good and left in a hurry. Very efficient and nice staff. They performed a thorough eye exam. Nice clean office. Wait time minimum. And Dr Auerbach is a great surgeon. Five Stars!!

Excellent!! He is meticulous with very good hands. Have had lesions around the eyes removed and they were done to perfection. He always answers my many questions. He performed a delicate eye surgery on my husband and it went perfectly. I recently has a cataract removed in my right eye with the laser and I now have 20/20 vision. Carissa took good care of me to get my dry eye ready for surgery with home treatments. The recovery was easy also. I cannot recommend Dr. Auerbach more highly.

Nice and professional staff. I cannot say the same of Dr. Auerbach. He didn't care about the symptoms that my wife told his assistant. He was just with us no more than a few minutes he never ask about her reasons for what she came to see him only ordered some test and in the and he came to do another test and say everything looks good bye!! He never mentioned the symptoms she was experience during some time, he never bothered to ask if we have any questions. He was always in a hurry to go through the more quantity of patience he could. He is making more money doing that that take care of the patience. I was thinking to get an appointment for me but after my wife's experience, I will never come back there.

I had cataract surgery on both eyes recently by Dr. Auerbach. I was impressed with Tristan, the surgery scheduler I was assigned to. Very nice, informative and professional. Dr. Auerbach was an excellent physician. My vision post-surgery is truly remarkable. He is thorough, highly skilled and I give him and staff high recommendations. I am very satisfied with my results and care. The surgery center even called the next day to see how I was faring. Very good service!

Dr. Auerbach is hands down the best. You can certainly tell he loves his job! He's extremely professional, you can tell he cares about each patient and he's so very thorough in each visit. My entire family knows that we're in the very best care possible with him.

Excellent ophthalmologist! He performed the diagnosis and surgery for a cataract on my right eye. He was excellent in explaining what the procedure would entail and what to expect for results. Very well organized staff and provided all details I needed. I am extremely pleased with the entire process and results! Thanks!

Dr Auerbach performed cataract surgery and his pre-op and post-op care was outstanding. He and his staff are highly recommended for all your eye care needs.

From getting annual eye exams, to cataract surgery, to getting a Laser YAG Capsulotomy that cleared my vision, Dr. Auerbach and the staff at Eye Physicians of Central Florida consistently provided me with exceptional care and service. At every level of contact, the schedulers, receptionists, technicians, nursing assistants, nurses and the physician specialists keep the whole process running like a Swiss watch. That is no easy feat in such a large organization. I highly recommend Dr. Auerbach..

I am not the type of person to leave a negative review, but I feel compelled in this case. He has zero bedside manner, is very rushed, and does not spend any time with you. He was dismissive and arrogant about my concerns and did not seem to care. He offered no help or solutions. His technician performed all tests and was very thorough. However, he didn’t even review anything that had been done and seemed irritated by my few questions. I would not recommend him and will not be returning.

Have had both eyes treated for cataracts by Dr Auerbach. He was excellent, as was the staff at the surgery center. Highly recommend him and his practice to anyone.

Dr Auerbach did laser cataract surgery with IOL implants in both eyes. Could not be happier with results. No pain or complications. Would definitely recommend him for cataract surgery!!

Dr. Auerbach is top-notch and I would recommend him highly. His entire office staff treats you like a person and not a patient. They get you in and out in a timely manner without making you feel rushed. I believe that everyone I came into contact with is competent and I trust them all.

Extremely impersonal, too large, a meat-market call center with young, inexperience & untrained CSRs. 1st day, I had to call 3 times before getting a 'nasty' young selfish African American woman, claiming to be suprvr, but went off on the patient with an amygdala brain fart, talking over the patient selfishly for 3-mins, &Pridefully said she'd do it again, then took it upon herself to cancel my appt in revenge the next day when a young girl could not ask my name. Total disrespect to cancer pt.

Dr. Auerbach is a competent ophthalmologist, but abruptly dropped me when I asked questions about the notes of my last visit. Very unprofessional in my considered opinion.

I have no doubt that Dr. Auerbach is qualified and has the experience. I think all the doctors at Eye Physician's of Central Florida are genuinely qualified doctors. My only complaint is I wish Dr. Auerbach would slow down a bit and converse. His examination was thorough but fast and I didn't have a chance to ask questions. I want to feel that I matter and I'm more than just one more patient through the doors.

Dr Auerbach is very professional, informative and a true caring Dr. He immediately had me feeling at ease when I was having Cataract surgery for the first time this last week. He genuinely was concerned that I was comfortable. I was very pleased and not at all nervous about my next procedure this week. He does a lot of other specialties other than Cataracts and if his treatment of me is any indication of how he is with other procedures. Than you would be benefited by his services.

We have been referred to Dr. Auerbach..His staff have been very helpful while calling to make sure my daughters insurance has been approved and that they received all her medical records from other Doctors..Erica was very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed to make our appointment..Tomorrow we will meet Dr. Auerbach :)

Dr. Auerbach and his staff are excellent. His cataract surgery to both of my eyes was exceptional.No problems or issues afterwards whatsoever. Followup visits were also great.Thanks to him I can see clearly now,the haze,etc. is gone. As far as I'm concerned,he's the BEST.

Very dissatisfied. My 24 y.old son developed ptosis, very worrisome problem. Drove from Sarasota because of good credentials. Big mistake! Was misdiagnosed as having an infection, did expensive unnesessary surgery ( tiny wart on eyelid). Charged over $600 for nothing. Send away without solving the problem or follow up.

I went to see Dr. Auerbach to address an early onset cataract as a result of two prior surgical procedures (by other doctors) that went bad and left me legally blind in one eye. I had trepidation about going under the knife again but was immediately eased by Dr. Auerbach's confidence, compassion, skills and expediency at each visit. The surgery went better than I expected - he improved my visual clarity and distance vision. The office staff is cheerful, efficient and wait times are short.

Loved Dr. Auerbach but will not go back.. I asked the front desk numerous times about my co-pay. She kept saying yes. I signed for an additional charge for refraction if necessary. It was not until I checked out that they told me I was out of network ( I had also checked when I made the appointment) and that I owed 4 times what I expected to pay. I was very upset as at no time was I told about a deductible that magically appeared on the paper when they showed it to me later. There was no reason for me to go of network when that charge would have been a $50 co-pay not a $165 charge, and much more to come on top of that. They have an elaborate check-in system and they should not be deceptive as to what networks they are in. If they don't know then they should be much better trained as most everyone is there under insurance and they should know what plans they take and tell you up front if you are in or out of network. Great experience No Problems No Pain Great Staff

I couldn't have been more pleased with my entire experience. My surgery went exactly as expected; there were no surprises. The staff was friendly and attentive.

I recently had cataract surg. I can't believe how much my vision has improved. Colors are crisp and sharp. The entire procedure was over in 35 min. Dr. Auerbach is very professional as is his entire staff. The staff is courteous and goes the extra mile to put you at ease. Carissa the surgery coordinator takes great care to answer all your questions. They also have a list of info and a schedule to follow for the eye drops. Since I am blind in one eye, I was very nervous about my cataract surgery. Dr Auerbach assured me and made me feel secure with my surgery. Everything went well and I can see so much better... thank you dr. Auerbach!!

Dr. Auerbach did my Cataract Surgery. Dr. Auerbach is one of, if not the best doctor I have gone to in my 69 years. He is very professional, as is his staff and makes you very comfortable with his explanation of the procedure before and after. I would highly recommend Dr. Auerbach.

Dr. Auerbach is the BEST! in September, I noticed that my eye sight was deteriorating. Nervous and scared, I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Auerbach and through a series of tests and a MRI, it was determined that I had a Pituitary Gland Tumor which was affecting my sight. He reissued me everything would be fine and referred me to the best Neurosurgeon in the Southeast, Dr. Melvin Field. A month after my surgery, I am recovering well and my eye sight has greatly improved! Praise Jesus!

In August and September 2016 I had cataract surgery performed on both my eyes by Dr. Auerbach. I am extremely grateful and can now see perfectly in both eyes. I have no need to wear glasses anymore except to read. Dr. Auerbach was very professional and kept me informed of my progress at every level. He took the time to explain all my questions. I am very confident knowing that Dr. Auerbach will always be there for my eyes and will highly recommend him to all my friends.

I had cataract surgery and laser astigmatism correction on both eyes. The outcomes were outstanding. I haven't seen this well in over 20 years. Dr. Auerbach is the consummate professional. He provided the best of care and was compassionate at all times. He and his excellent staff went out of their way to provide first class treatment. After years of suffering and holding out to the last possible moment it was time to take out the Cataract. A simple procedure certainly. 90% success rate they said. That is easy for people with two functioning eyes. One good eye is a different story. We were convinced the receptionist just picked a name from a book when doctor gave us a referral. But God chose the best doctor he could for our unique situation. Dr. Auerbach and the whole team were extremely patient and understanding with my mother and me. Dr. Thomas even met us on a Sunday morning with a smile. We had a long road with Dr. Auerbach. He erred on the side of caution. He was not eager to just keep cutting and risk the possibility of my mother losing all of her vision. He was patient and professional. A true God send. A Brooklyn Boy after my mother's heart.
