I've been seeing Dr. Cannon for 20+ yrs. He is the Best dentist I have ever had!! Bar none, he is the absolute best in the Salt Lake Valley and I've always recommended him to all my friends, I'm sure you will too!

I spent months researching dentists since I was in need of a new one. I am so happy I found Dr. Cannon. He is an outstanding dentist and he is also so great to talk to. His staff is also outstanding. If you are looking for a new dentist, I encourage you to go in and meet him. I also encourage you to go and read the reviews and scores of Dr. Cannon on the Cigna website. He’s is the highest ranked dentist :) and there are great reviews. Update: I have continued to go to Dr. Cannon and just love him and his staff. Best dentist ever! 03/02/23 Update: we still love Dr. Cannon and are so grateful to have found him. Him and his staff are the very best!

I've been going to Dr. Cannon for 15 years and have been extremely happy with him and his staff! He gets me anxieties and is very patient with me.

Those are not empty words in Dr. David Cannon’s mission statement: personalized care, relationship, compassion! My husband is in advanced stages of Alzheimer’s, and the challenges he presents are bewildering to many. Not Dr. Cannon and his staff. They patiently, confidently, and lovingly encourage my husband to help them accomplish what is needed. It is beautiful to see! To top it off, Dr. Cannon recently went the extra mile, offering Samaritan-like after-care simply because he saw the need and had a heart to go beyond mere ‘professionalism’. The world could use more doctors like this! Wow!

Dr. Cannon is the best. My daughter had a tooth break on a Friday night. Dr. Cannon got her in the next morning at 8 am and got her taken care of.

I went to Pinnacle Dental when our family moved back to Utah 20 years ago. We moved to Park City and I tried several other Dentists because of the driving distance. That will never happen again! Dr. Cannon is the best!! He is honest, compassionate and committed to the community. 5+++ stars!!

My son was experiencing tooth sensitivity that came on suddenly. I texted the office after hours on a Friday expecting that I wouldn’t be able to connect with anyone until after the New Year holiday on Tuesday. To my surprise, I received a speedy reply from Dr. Cannon himself, stating that he could see my son at noon on Saturday. Dr. Cannon’s quick response and willingness to come in on a Saturday showed his genuine concern and care for his patients. Additionally, I have found that this type of care and service focus extends to the entire team….a service level that is hard to find nowadays. Thank you!

*UPDATE* 4/27/2022 - I returned to my endodontist to fix the 2nd of 3 faulty root canals Dr. Cannon performed. The endodontist found a piece of broken file that was left in the root canal by Dr. Cannon! Its like the dental version of "my surgeon left a sponge in me." I don't recall being informed that there were any complications during the procedure by Dr. Cannon. The endodontist tried extracting the piece of file with no luck. If I'm lucky, the root canal will heal fine over the next 6 months. If I'm not lucky, in six months I'll have surgery to remove the piece of file through my gum or I'll be having the tooth extracted. PLEASE GET A SECOND OPINION ON ROOT CANALS FROM THIS OFFICE! It pains me to write this because Dr Cannon and his staff are very nice people. I had 4 root canals between March 2020 and August 2020 and three of them were not done with proper care. The infections in the canals were not cleaned out completely and the seals were not placed correctly - one of them was placed so far in that it was pressing into my jaw tissue. The negligence of cleaning in addition to ill-fitting crowns caused me to develop a periodontal disease that I'm currently being treated for. I'm also working with an endodontist to fix the three root canals that have issues. I don't know what's worse - the pain of having root canals corrected or losing trust in a person that I truly felt had my best interest in mind and someone I liked working with. If it's recommended that you have a root canal, I would suggest getting a second opinion from an endodontist and then having them do the work. *UPDATE* 4/27/2022 - I returned to my endodontist to fix the 2nd of 3 faulty root canals Dr. Cannon performed. Lost my trust because I rarely have had a cavity. He did a few fillings. My last visit he said I needed another filling. Went to a different dentist for a second opinion, no cavity. Otherwise he is a personable, competent dentist, just did unnecessary work. Honest dentist, great staff. Been going here for years.

Dr Cannon is always so nice and asks about my family. I don't mind going in for a check up every 6 months. The environment is relaxing and they want you to be comfortable the whole time.

Dr. David is fantastic! He's thorough, attentive, and bilingual. Went for a routine cleaning & had a few surface level cavities that he filled during a second appointment. I have been going to Dr Cannon for about 5 years and he is the best! He has the best bedside...chairside? Manner of any clinician I have ever met period. He is SO good with my toddler. We just took her to the dentist for the first time and she was pretty nervous and fussy, but his gentle demeanor calmed her down and she actually allowed him to do all the normal dentist things that come with a checkup!! I was amazed bc when I brush her teeth myself, she puts up a fight about 80% of the time. He has always gone above and beyond with service, great educator on my issues and he and his dental hygienist are so knowledgeable and so good. I highly recommend them and love being their patient! Do not go here or let him do your root canals. I have been in pain for a year now because two root canals that he did went bad. One he caused by filling a cavity and the other he broke a file in my gums. Not only did that happen they both were not done properly so I have had to get them both redone and it’s cost me money, and a lot of time spent in pain since last October 2020. it is now October 2021 and I will be having my second tooth redone next week. I have been going to Dr. Cannon for years! Both on the Military side and then civilian side. Absolutely amazing guy and will not be changing dentist anytime soon! (Or ever) Doctor Cannon and his team are amazing! The dentist is hard enough to go to, but when you get here his team makes you feel at ease. I hate the dentist and Dr Cannon and his staff always do their best to make sure you’re as comfortable as possible. Plus, he sounds like NPR’s Doug Fabrizio, which is calming. Best dentist I’ve ever had honestly.

But Dr. Cannon and his staff are so welcoming, and always so full of good energy, that it's like going to visit your friends. But even more, his work is great (and I would know)!
