Dr. Jeffrey A. Hill

I went to Dr. Hill's office because I had tension headaches almost every single day of the week. I had a feeling this was caused by me clenching my teeth. I sat down with Dr. Hill to have a consultation and he put a device in my mouth that measured the way my teeth met together. It revealed that my molars were touching far sooner than any of my other teeth. Dr. Hill modified my bite so that I had even pressure between all my teeth when I was chewing. I came back a month later for a final appointment to make sure my teeth were still where they needed to be after I got used to how my bite was - we made one slight adjustment at that point. Not only did Dr. Hill help me with my teeth, but he helped me to understand the science behind what was happening. He explained in a way so that I could understand - the molars connect/are controlled by a part of the brain that is meant for power and crushing, where the front teeth handle are controlled/managed by the fine motor skills part of the brain - where my front teeth didn't touch near soon enough, I was applying far too much pressure on my molars, causing the clenching and the eventual headaches. He also went into depth on how my resting position should be with my mouth, tongue, and head. Here I am, almost a month later, and I have not had a SINGLE headache since my last visit with Dr. Hill. I informed Dr. Hill during a procedure that I needed more numbing for the pain I was feeling. He told me it was in my head and continued to proceed drilling. I also had to wait multiple times for Dr. Hill to return from greeting other patients while I was currently in the chair with gauze in my mouth. Dr. Hill is easily the best dentist I've been to. I've had four fillings done by him now and I am extremely impressed at how they turned out - the color matching is perfect and you can't tell the fillings are there at all. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, and his hygienist also does the most thorough cleanings I've received. Dr. Hill is a phenomenal dentist. He takes great care with each patient and listens to your concerns. He is highly skilled and ensures that his work is of the highest quality. Every person that works in Dr. Hill's office is personable and demonstrates the same quality of customer service.

I was referred by my Endodontist after a root canal. Dr. Hill is very knowledgeable & professional. He explains everything thoroughly and made me feel as though in capable hands. Indeed, the crown he fit for my tooth fits better than ANY crown I've ever had before. I can't feel any difference at all, it just feels like my normal tooth. Dr. Hill makes the extra effort to fit crowns perfectly and he takes the time to make sure I felt that it was perfect. Will definitely be coming back in the future! I am so grateful !! New to UT, I do my research thoroughly. When I asked his staff "why should I select your office?" Dr. Jeffrey Hill got on the phone with me. He listens, he is conservative if that's what you want and oh my goodness, the quality of his work is exceptional. My new crown feels better than my previous broken crown. Competent, ethical and nice all in one dentist. Furthermore, the hygienists and assistants are equally competent. You will not regret your decision when you choose this dental practice. Dr. Hill takes such great care of us! He is not only an incredibly gifted and professional dentist, but he is also an amazing person. I completely trust him and he and his staff make you feel so at home. For the first time in my life, I don't (completely) dread going to the dentist!

Dr Hill is a really good guy. He nice and personable/always excited to see me (which is nice considering how often I have to reschedule). All that said, he knows his stuff. I've had major work done on four of my teeth and it has been smooth and looks great. He has great staff too and he (and they) understand and are empathetic and accommodating to my to extreme fear of needles, drills, and frankly, dentistry in general. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a great, knowledgeable dentist!

I highly recommend Dr. Hill. He has been extremely professional and compassionate with me, and I appreciate that from him and his staff. Their work on my mouth has improved my quality of life; I finally feel like I can smile and that is so freeing for me. Dr. Hill has made me feel good every time I've been in to see him. He explains problems until I can understand what is going on, and he is welcoming of questions. He listens patiently to what I have to say or ask, then he takes time to explain to me whatever I need explained. I know I'm not the only one with whom he's kind and patient. The office has some toys for children, and the couple of times I've had to come in with my young children the whole staff has been quick to help and facilitate my time there. I know it's not their job to babysit my kids while I get work done, but they always go out of their way to help. Everything they do, I appreciate it very much. They're always very complimenting. I went to Artisan Dental for a whitening and got fantastic results with just one visit! And it was surprisingly affordable. I had previously filled a chipped front tooth that did not whiten with the treatment, so I went back in to have that redone. That is when I found out how truly gifted Dr. Hill is. He is an artist and a perfectionist, and he spent a great deal of time matching the color and texture of my other teeth. Dr. Hill was such a great and a considerate dentist. He was so amazing at fixing my fake tooth gone wrong and all within a month before my wedding! He worked merciliessly to give my tooth the right color and the perfect size since it was right in front. Dr Hill was very understanding of the work that was needed to make my front tooth white again and him and his staff were very support all along the way. dr hill did a great job on my veneer 2 yrs ago. i accidently chipped it and he told me to come in. instead of reolacing it (which woould be expensive) he sanded it down and made it look goodas new. great dentist and great prices

I have never written a review for a dentist, but having such wonderful experiences with Dr Hill and his wonderful staff for the past year- I must. I am what you may call an anxious dental patient. Dr Hill and his staff always put me at ease. I have had 1 whitening visit, 1 crown and filling and recently cosmetic fill-in that I am most pleased with.
